It's 2011, I've covered 5 World Cups, my daughter can't get enough soccer, there are 853 female refs in England, and yet...2 of Britain's top soccer TV personalities made sexist remarks about a female ref ("Can you believe that? A female ref? Somebody better get down there and explain offside to her.') and other disparaging remarks about women in the sport. 1 was fired, other resigned. We ain't there yet, ladies.
