It was a good goal, but the goalie was in another planet, no reaction at all. Better goal, the one Maxi Rodriguez fron Argentina scored against Mexico in the World Cup previous to South Africa.

I've seen hundreds if not thousands of gorgeous goals over time. I don't know how to compare them. Check out some by Johann Cruyff, Gregorz Lato, George Best ..and also some one-timers (sort of like one hit wonders).
I've seen many more impressive than Maradona's in a World Cup, but don't get the attention that he got.
There also needs to be a separate category for actual great goals vs great builds up to goals.
That Argentinan goal mentioned above was great; but have seen hundreds just like it.
