Juan Agudelo on fire!

The US national team is back on the field tonight against Paraguay after an impressive 1-1 tie against Argentina in front of 78,936 fans at the Meadowlands.

18-year-old Juan Agudelo, a Colombian-American, scored the goal. He also scored against South Africa in a friendly a few months ago. The kid is good!

Super Day for Davies, MLS!

MLS had a spectacular Saturday..

Charlie Davies, the US forward nearly killed in a 2009 car accident, scored 2 goals in his debut for D.C. United, and had an emotional press conference afterward, in which he called it the best day of his life.

Vancouver Whitecaps, with a packed house of 22,592 watching, beat Toronto 4-2 in its league debut. Eric Hassli scored 2 goals for Vancouver.

18-year-old Juan Agudelo, recently called up to the US national team for upcoming game against Argentina, scored the lone goal in the Red Bulls' 1-0 win over Seattle.

Mexican star Omar Bravo scored for Kansas City in his debut against Chivas USA.

Gold Cup in Miami!

June 10. Mark your calendar.

2011 Gold Cup makes a first-round stop in Miami.

Jamaica vs. Guatemala, 7 p.m. followed by Honduras vs. Grenada, 9 p.m.

@FIU Stadium. Ticket info to come.

And if you want to see the U.S., head to Tampa the next day (11th). They play Panama at 8 p.m.
