It's 12:44 a.m., and the LA Galaxy is 15 minutes from reaching the MLS conference championship Sunday against Real Salt Lake. LA is up on NY Red Bulls 2-1 (3-1 aggregate) after Landon Donovan buried a PK. The kick was awarded when David Beckham was fouled in the box.
This game has been fast-paced and fun to watch, and the rivalry has intensified because of a post-game melee in Game 1. LA midfielder Juninho and NY midfielder Rafa Marquez were suspended for Thursday's match because of their involvement in the brawl.
So, who do you think is going to win the MLS crown? you think Beckham will stay in the US or go back to Europe?

I think L.A. is going to take the Cup this year...RSL & KC look tough, but LA is clearly the class of the MLS. But as they say in that other sport...any given sunday...It would be cool for Becks to win a Cup in the last years of his tenure here. He has proven to be crucial to the league's development and it would be a nice touch to cap it off with a Cup. I think he'll stay and hope he'll stay. There are only a few true STARS in the MLS and his star shines brightest.

I believe if Beckham wins MLS Cup this year, he is more likely to return to Europe. If he doesn't win it this year, he might feel like there is unfinished business, but I still see him going back to Europe regardless. I feel like he wants to prove himself over there one last time.
