Hello from Arena Corinthians in Sao Paulo, where the Opening Ceremony is about to begin, and then, opening game Brazil vs. Croatia!

The scene on trains and outside stadium is absolutely wild...a sea of yellow as far as the eye can see. I rode in on a train from the center of town with some other US journos, and we were packed like sardines into the trains filled with Brazilian fans. We were the ONLY people not wearing yellow (well, there were a few red and white checkered Croats, but not many). Once we got here, the train station and long walk to the stadium was chaotic, crowded, but very festive. It seemed there were far more fans than the 61,000 who have tickets. Everyone wants to be here, so many fans just rode train out to capture the scene. Here are some photos...
