The Delano, which ushered in a new era of South Beach chic when it relaunched in 1995, is about to enter a new phase.
Gone will be the Florida Room lounge and the Blue Door Fish restaurant, replaced with a new nightlife venue (details still TBA) and an Italian restaurant, Bianca, with a focus on organic and locally sourced food.
For more on the transformation, here's our story.

Stayed there August 18th -24th, had a pleasant experience except for two things: I was expecting a package from Amazon that the company informed was delivered on August 16. I came back home without it. I called the hotel twice (international call since I live in Brazil) , was transfered to the person responsible for deliveries (Rodrigo Jauregui) who informd me that it was not delivered to the hote regardless the information provided by Amazon and USPS which informs me that it was delivered to the hotel on August 16th at 9:27 AM.
The second thing is the noise on rooms facing Collins Avenue... those rooms should be avoided due to the constant traffic noise. Other thn that it was all right.
