Yes, I'm on vacation for a short bit, so no deals of the day. !ut given the sorry state of the British pound, it feels like a deal.
Visits in recent years have set me back $2 to the pound but this year I'm paying about $1.40. So those theater tickets and my dinner last night were absolutely manageable. Imagine, dinner with a glass of wine for $30 -- here!
Off today to see an exhibit on Islamic art at the Saachi gallery -- and then Harrods!
