I love the Minnesota State Fair because I grew up going there almost every year. I lived in the Twin Cities, so the State Fair was the most charmingly provincial activity I ever did. I loved riding on a square of carpet down the big yellow slide, eating mini-donuts, seeing horse shows in the Coliseum, checking out the year's largest pumpkins, etc.
