Progress report: Florida State

I tried to get this done yesterday, but had Randy Shannon's press conference to get to and then transcribe. So, here it is today. Once again, feel free to share your grades and your thoughts on the progress of this team. In fact, I'll leave you with a few questions to ask yourself: Are you still willing to sit back and watch this team grow? Or, are you getting tired of the losing and demand wins now? And, finally, is this football team better than last year's team which started 4-1?

Onto the progress report. I'll remind you my grading system system, in honor of the Canes, is simple: National championship material (excellent), BCS worthy (good), MicronPC Bowl here we come (average), Coker-esque (poor) and Scout Team reserve (the bottom of the barrel).

Quarterbacks: This was the first time this season Robert Marve and Jacory Harris didn't look like All-Robert_marve_stuffed Americans. Rather, more like what they really are: freshmen. Marve wass 17 of 40 for 122 yards and an interception. He said afterward the ball was a bit slippery because of the rain, but wasn't really trying to make excuses. Florida State had a lot to do with his problems. The Seminoles defense applied a ton of pressure. Harris, meanwhile, also threw his first interception of the season. But he proved yet again he can at least move the team down the field. He drove UM down the field before the half and had a touchdown pass dropped by Leonard Hankerson in the end zone. Still, coach Randy Shannon said Sunday Harris deserves to play. And I agree with him. He's certainly not hurting the team. This week's progress report says: MicronPC Bowl here we come. The numbers weren't great. But a lot of that had to with receivers dropping passes. I liked the fight both quarterbacks showed dealing with heavy pressure and all in all, there weren't really a ton of mistakes on their part.

Running backs: It's hard to grade this unit this week considering Miami had to Graig_cooper_bottled_upabandon the run so early. But here are the facts: Graig Cooper's run of back-to-back 100 yard games came to an end. After getting off to a snails' pace on UM's first two possessions, he finished with 31 yards on six carries and actually moved UM downfield before a sack pushed the Canes back. Ultimately, I thought Cooper did a very good job picking up blitzers in blocking situations, something he asked Shannon to let him do. Marve and Harris after all only got sacked twice despite the constant pass rush. And neither time was it Cooper or any of the running backs' faults. Cooper also led the team in receiving with seven catches. This week's progress report says: BCS Worthy. I'm ultimately grading Cooper and this unit on what they had a chance to do -- catch the ball and block -- and not what they didn't (only 14 rushing attemtps in all). And I thought they did a good job at it.

Receivers/tight ends: Tough day when it came to the drops for the receivers -- especially the veterans Leonard_hankerson like Sam Shields, Leonard Hankerson and Kayne Farquharson. But I thought the freshmen did a great job when given opportunities. Aldarius Johnson appears like he's emerging from the pack. He had 5 catches for 55 yards including a beautiful play late in the game when he broke a tackle and scurried up field for a 27-yard gain on Miami's final scoring drive. Travis Benjamin had the biggest catch of the game on the trick play pass from Graig Cooper and Laron Byrd came through with a key fourth down catch to keep a drive alive. But the veterans are killing this unit. Shannon talked Sunday at length about his receivers and I get the sense he's ready to commit to the freshmen more and more. He also said position coach Aubrey Hill is stressing "stacking" where receivers sort of box out defensive backs to shield them from the ball -- something receivers haven't been doing enough. This week, Hankerson could be out with an injury, which means Jermaine McKenzie (who we thought would play and didn't) will get his chance in the slot with the only other healthy slot receiver on the team -- Farquharson. This week's progress report says: MicronPC Bowl here we come. Like you, I'm getting tired of seeing the drops by the veterans. Wet ball or not, they got to come up with it. The freshman certainly aren't having those problems.

Offensive line: No running game and lots of pressure on the quarterback. That's how the offensive line performed Saturday. The highlight? Left tackle Jason Fox scoring on a trick play. Florida State's front line was obviously better than UM's. The Canes certainly missed Reggie Youngblood at right tackle. Chris Rutledge started in his place -- not Tyrone Byrd like we were told -- and missed a key block early that led to one of two FSU sacks. Overall, for a unit Miami thought it was its offensive strength, this unit played the worst of any Saturday. Still, it was only two sacks officially. So, it wasn't that bad. This week's progress report says: MicronPC Bowl here we come. We all expected more and got less especially early. But Fox's touchdown and the fact there were only two sacks allowed saved the line's grade this week.

The Front Seven: All week long we heard about how great Miami's run defense had performed through four Antone_smiths_winning_td games. Then, they reverted to looking like they did against Virginia a year ago. Christian Ponder didn't feel much pressure at all and wasn't sacked once. Instead, he escaped the pocket on countless occassions and eluded slower Miami linebackers. 144 yards by an opposing quarterback on the run? Inexcusable. The lone bright spots for Miami were freshman Sean Spence, who led the team with 10 tackles and scored on a deflected pass/interception return for a touchdown, and Glenn Cook's stop of Antone Smith on a key third down situation. But that -- and a few nice stops by defensive tackle Marcus Forston in the backfield and one play by Joe Joseph -- was it. This week's progress report says: Bottom of the barrell. It certainly hurt not to have Colin McCarthy and to have Eric Moncur go down. But now this defense must get used to it. Both won't be back this season. There are just too many missed tackles and blown assignments happening. We'll have to see if it really is fixable.

The Secondary: The poster boy for UM's day in the secondary was freshman Brandon Harris, who was Fsu_abuses_brandon_harris flagged twice for pass interference, once for holding and missed several open field tackles. Harris, making his first start at corner, had a bad day and its excusable. But where is the veteran help? Florida State's receivers didn't abuse Miami like North Carolina's did a week earlier. But Miami still didn't do a great job wrapping up. Shannon said there is still too much arm tackling going on. The one positive was Bruce Johnson's interception -- the first for the secondary this season. But there were too many blown coverages and mistakes. How FSU scored on third and goal from the 20 is beyond me. Where were the safeties? This week's progress report says: Coker-esque. I'm beginning to wonder if I should change this category because not even Coker's defensive backfield was this bad.

Special Teams: Here is the one area Miami shined Saturday -- and Benjamin deserves all the credit. He Travis_benjamin not only scored on a 18-yard end around and a 51-yard catch, but he kept UM in the game and helped a struggling offense with his great returns. He finished with 274 all-purpose yards. Matt Bosher also had a great day. He was 3 for 3 on field goals on a wet field and averaged 45.3 yards a punt (that includes a 57-yarder). He also did a great job on kickoffs, kicking the ball into the corner and not allowing FSU to put together many big returns. This week's progress report says: National championship material. You can't ask Benjamin, Bosher and the special teams unit to do anymore than they did. Well, maybe play defense too.

Coaching: Aside from a few successful trick plays and some good efforts on special teams, Patrick Nix Randy_shannon and Bill Young were taken to school Saturday by Jimbo Fisher and Mickey Andrews. Miami didn't fall behind 24-0 by accident. FSU shutdown Miami's running game and put immense pressure on Marve and the quarterbacks with blitzes it seemed UM only was able to adjust to in the second half. Young honestly never made the adjustments to stop Fisher's offense. This week, the real challenge begins for Young who has to find a way to make this defense better without Moncur and McCarthy. This week's progress report says: Coker-esque. All of the offensive woes (drops by receivers) weren't all Nix's fault. But the offense didn't look great. I've already ripped the defense enough.

BREAKING NEWS!!! Israel Guitierez is the gay lover of eye on the U bloggers "canesrule" & "The ghost of Art Kehoe"... pics of the gaytor couples can be found if u google Israel sucking gaytors off...

i'm reposting this to make sure everyone knows the truth bout israel... hopefully he will come out of the closet... c'mon queen israel u'll feel better after..

I AGREE WITH ALL THE GRADES EXCEPT FOR THE O-LINE... GOT TO UP THEM ONE, JASON FOX IS PROVING TO BE ONE OF THE BEST LINEMAN IN THE ACC..

For all the chUMps sitting in their moms studio apartment in allapattah and goulds throwing up the 305 and U signs to themselves.

U never went there!!!

The weather man says Hurricanes Blow

All UM fans need to relax and go back to their classes at FIU and Miami Dade.

Bunch of Losers

I think patience is needed. It's clear that shannon's players are better then coker's . The team is better then last year depsite the record. this team will only get better as the season goes on. Im still no sold on nix as oc he abandoned the run completly i just want some play action early to keep teams honest not one sided offense which is what this teams does every week. I agree that fans calling for shannon's head already are bad fans and need to relax and give shannon time. I disagree with coker's db's were never this bad these are his db's cept harris pretty much he did recruit them . It's sad when the best players on the feild are freshman and redshirt freshman and when other then the ol the veteren's make way to many mistakes.

Patience enables great things. No realistic Cane fan can expect yearlong domination after a 5-7 season. As a real fan i believe Miami will win every game. But i don't expect it. We lost 2 games this year we should of won and it is disappointing, but calling for firings is ridiculous, ludicrous, absurd, etc...

The Canes are growing as we speak. The Freshman and Sophomores are the players making big plays. What i will not except is for this team to laydown the rest of the year.

Believe in Shannon, he has the team heading in the right direction. Believe in the staff, believe in the players... Negativity brings nothing. It is better to be positive about something, then to be negative about anything...

Go Canes!!!

heres to 9-3!!!

Manny,

Think you better rename this the regression report. Seriously.

Please be patient!!! Be very patient!!! Let Randy Shannon have 10 years recruiting before you do anything. Keep him around for 10-15 years before any mentioning of firing is done.

I mean when was the last time the Canes lost to both FLorida STate and FLorida in the same year??? Only WAAAAAAAndy could do it.

Be patient, he will get this turned around. The Canes are too young, its tough to play in the rain, Marcus Forston had a cold, the injuries are crazy. Patience!!!

Gotta have patience!!!! A lot of it please!!!!

It will get better. Remember how everyone goes at Coach Pannunzio? Well special teams are the best unit on the team right now. But I'm sure he won't get any props, but let a punt get blocked, and he'll get all the blame. Same as with any coach. What I mention that for is that coaches coach, but players play! Its hard to look like a good coach if you don't have good players. Case in point, everyone used to bite Matt Bosher's head off last year. Now that he's matured and is growing into the player we thought he was going to be, on various msg brds I see, Matt Bosher is a WARRIOR, I just laugh. One thing I've noticed about our fan base as a whole is that they are the most fickle, and typically uninformed, and reckless commented fans in the nation. They constantly pass blame and put it where it isn't. The problem right now with our team is that the best players are freshman. There is no questioning that. However with Freshman, their are going to be many LUMPS. Consistency will be a problem, physical and mental lapses will be a problem, and being over matched by more mature players on other teams will be a problem. At the beginning of the year, I predicted a 7-5 season. We can still get there. But this is what has to happen. We can't lose any games that we are supposed to win. That means, we must win vs UCF, Duke, UVA, and NC State. That gives us 6 wins. Then we are going to have to find a way to win one of the 3 tuff remaining games: Virginia Tech, Georgia Tech, and Wake Forest.

But to change subjects, I haven't read all the posts, but I'm sure the coaches as normal are getting most of the blame. And while some blame can go to them, and I'm sure they'd take some of it, I think we have some other bigger issues.

1. No leadership from the upper classmen. When Gavin Hardin who is a true freshman that will probably get a redshirt is the guys your having to depend on to fire up the troops, that is a bad thing. That should have been Khalil, Glenn Cook...Where is the senior leadership.

2. Intensity. I thought we came out very flat and uninspired. The tell tale sign of that was the first clip they showed when the game was coming on. Both teams were waiting to enter onto the field and were 10 feet if that apart. No jawing, no talking, no bounce, no excitement, no nothing. THIS IS FSU! Not that I condone it (I do...hahahaha), but in years past, that is a fight waiting to happen! But the fire had been dimmed, it doesn't burn as bright as years past.

3. Desire. I really feel some of our players while talented, are satisfied with being just talented. They don't want to be great. Travis Benjamin...that kid wants to be great. Spence, Aldarius, Futch, Forston, Marve, Jacory, all want to be great. But they are all FRESHMAN! I was so disappointed in Leonard Hankerson on that TD pass that he let Tony Carter take from him. Why did Carter take it from him???? BECAUSE HE WANTED THE BALL MORE THEN HANKERSON DID!

We take to lightly when Coach Shannon said he has to change the culture. He does. The guys that are the "supposed" leadership of this team have a culture of losing (14-16 since they've been at UM) and I really think it doesn't bother them as much as it bothers even us the fans. But on a positive, we can see the change beginning to take shape. The teams the last 2 years would have never hung in there like the team this year. They would've called it a day at 24-3 and FSU probably hangs 50 on us. So Legion, stay patient, stay loyal, and give our staff time to bring in true UM quality (talent and character) guys and watch what happens. In 2010 even maybe some next year, this team is gonna be very, very good. We just have to stick with them.

Everything went south after Streeter was injured.

We lost 2 games this year we should of won?

Believe in Shannon, he has the team heading in the right direction?

Everything went south after Streeter was injured?

EXCUSE U IS OUT IN FULL FORCE TONIGHT

When it comes to Shannon’s coaching, the glass is neither half-full nor half-empty it is just half-fast.

We will be lucky to match last year’s rather embarassing 5-7 record. I can’t imagine what our record would be if we played in an actual conference such as the SEC. 1-11, maybe 2-10 at best.

For the record, just as I have correctly predicted the exact score of every U loss this season, I guarantee Randy will be outcoached by the up-and-coming UCF Knights this weekend in our fourth trap game of the season.

Knights by 7.

One thing I've noticed about our fan base as a whole is that they are the most fickle, and typically uninformed, and reckless commented fans in the nation.

Just like the gaytors cant dominate more than one consecutive season? Oh wait domination, I forgot you guys have never had an undefeated season. Damn SEC! ExcuseUF. Whaaaaaaa we play in the sec, thats why we have two rings, whaaaaaa!

Did or did not FSU play in rain too... Damn your stupid... Fourth quarter games are decided by coaching... Let me ask you a question if you ran business would you hire Randy Shannon (dumb) or a Butch Davis or Jimbo Fisher... I didn't see Randy giving that stupid "U" sign... More losses are coming...

Q. What do you call a Miami Hurricane with an ACC championship ring?

A. A thief.

BG that is the truth, and how they are hanging in there will pay off at the end of the season. They will get better excellent point about being hungry for the ball, if anything he should have knock the ball down if anything. K. Jones had one thrown his way and he let Carter jump in front of him

And the main reason we are hated: it took us 18 years to win 5 Natl Championships, it took the gaytors 100+ to win 2. And I dont care what conference we played in, the SEC hasnt always been as strong as it is now.

ExcuseUF

HatersHateOn!

Canesrule, isnt it past your bedtime? Oh yea I forgot your mom is at sarasota canes house again tonight. You sneaky lil guy! If your not careful your gonna get grounded.

Welcome back canesdrool. I'm so glad your mother took your collar off and let you outside to find the nearest tree to piss on. Three consecutive posts of absolute nonsense. Question? Where were you at the game?

Canesrule, get a life.

Q. What do you call a Miami Hurricane with an ACC championship ring?

A. A thief.

Posted by: canesrule | October 06, 2008 at 09:22 PM

har har har, good one lil guy! why care about an acc championship ring, when you have 5 national championship rings?

One another note, do any of us remember our accomplishments at the age of 18 or even 19? Last years team would have folded playing from behind. Once these guys get more experience, they will improve.

As for the coaching, same thing. Shannon is in his SECOND YEAR of Head Coaching. Nix is in his SECOND YEAR (Three years if you count the one year Chan Gailey wasn't calling the games due to his own ego ala Cam Cameron was for the Dolphins) of being a full time OC.

None of this is an excuse, its just a fact. I am still a cane fan and will be for life. True fans can and should be disappointed, but we should still back our team. Did we all really expect greatness quickly? It will take time, I just hope Shannon is afforded the time (at least 4 years, along with some improvement along the way) to build on his recruiting and improve as a coach. I hope he isn't canned as Mike Shula was in Alabama (where Saban is now reaping the rewards of Shula's recruiting) or as URBAN MEYER does now off of Zook's original recruiting foundation.

I understand the economy is tough and some fans can't make it, excuse or not, this is also a reality. However, If you don't make it to games and spew venom, EAT IT!!
The true fans of this team are around when they are 5-7 and 12-0. We take the lumps along with the team. It hurts to see the canes lose, but I will still root for them on Saturdays.

And more national championship rings to come.

In reality we were spoiled as hell!

Like I said before 5 Rings in 18 years?

Thats insane!

All our playmakers are freshman or soph. , and yes the future is looking bright, I dont care what anybody says.

EVERY team has had its tough times, EVERY single one. Just keep that in mind.

Manny U are dead on with your progress report it looks alot like mine. QB's are fine they both are progressing and is still an upgrade over the last 3 years. RB's are Ok i give them a B overall but i would like to see Shawnbrey or L. Chambers get more carries. This is the position where i would like to see more of a rotation to see what RB have it that particular day. WR's it's time to get those veterans out and play the younging. There only setting bad examples. O-Line this unit is playing better than any other easily the strengh of the team. D-Line another unit that needs to be rotated to find what lineman is dominant then ride him. The second best unit of the team. LB's other than Spence and Mccarthy. this is once again for third consecutive year the most disapointing unit of the team. quite frankly the are soft and miss way to many tackles. See WR's and play the younging (what happened to A.Brown). DB's another disappointing unit see LB's also soft miss way to many tackles and never can seem to find the ball and make a play on it. Whom ever is the DB coach needs to be replaced. These guys are not coached up at all. Special Teams the most improved unit of them all. Probably up there with th OL. Coaches Shannon if i were you. I will tell Nix and Young to ATTACK,ATTACK and be even more aggressive on play calling. Your fate rest in there hands. Also Shannon this is a young team in a big city where there are a lot of distraction. U got stay on them, keep them focused and keep them motivated. Ooh yeah keep running them trick plays that seems to fire them up and motivate them. see the FSU game.

Our fan base needs to be playing the role of 12th man in the stands the exact opposite of the way our fan base pisses and moans more than canesrule does when his mother won't let him out of the high chair and give him his Gerber's.

Speaking of which... canesrule... here is a link for you. Unfortunately since your mother is hard at work, you will have to feed yourself you big baby.

Here are some of your options: http://www.gerber.com/Nutrition_Feeding/Default.aspx

Da U is down but not out! Shannon is turning it around it just takes time.

Timmi Nuckles? What a girly name.

Yes I would hire Shannon!

Believe in Shannon... Wow! Who besides some stupid UM fan who probably are on parole would believe in that loser... Every game he says we are young and blames his kids... Randy like your personal life I guess you take no responsibility... FIU got better once his loser son left that program...

manny, how about a progress report on Shannon? the guy has shown no improvement as far as managing a game as HC.

TXCane,

You would hire Randy well you better have a far superior product cause he like Coker won with Butch Davis's talent... And as the HC he 7-10... I am so tired of all the freshman talk too... Florida, Alabama, LSU are starting 7 to 10 freshman and sophomore... You guys complain we have no leaders, Randy ran them all off....

And trust me I looked at the sidelines of UM it doesn't look like a lot of smart kids or coaches there....

UM is the 4th best school in Florida... Loss to UF... Loss to FSU... We all know they would lose to USF... And soon UCF will beat them... And the funniest is FIU has as many wins as the almight U...

Do they call it the U cause the players can't spell UM?

U WANNA CHANGE THE LUCK???

ATTENTION... COACHES,COACHES,COACHES

I HATE THE UNIFORM JERSEY... IT SUCKS

THAT STRIPE OVER THE CHEST MAKES US LOOK PUNEY... NEED TO HI-LITE AND MAGNIFY THE SHOULDERS.

BRING BACK THE 2001 JERSEY... DAYS OF GLORY!!!

BEFORE RIPPING THE CANES ANY MORE THEN YOU HAVE, SUGGEST TO LOOK AT THE REPLAYS AND ALL OF THE FLAGS NOT THROWN FOR FSU OFFENSIVE HOLDING ON THE LINE OR OFFENSIVE INTERFERENCE, LIKE THAT PLAY WHEN CARTER(?) HELD BRANDON HARRIS DOWN WITH ONE HAND AND JUMPED HIGH FOR THE BALL WITH THE OTHER FOR A ONE HANDED CATCH IN THE END ZONE. THE PLAY WAS CANCELLED BUT THERE SHOULD HAVE BEEN A FLAG... THERE WERE NUMEROUS FLAGS THAT SHOULD HAVE BEEN THROWN, THAT WEREN'T...

Ah please note this; Butch Davis has no where near the talent UM has yet he is 4-1 and UM is 2-3. Coaching and talent development are none existant! Time to get a whole new coaching staff!! Its a shame that so much talent is wasted!!!

LEt's see
UF 4-1
FSU 4-1
UNC 4-1

Not making excuses but our young team has lost to three teams that should be ranked through-out the year. Last year's team was loosing to NC State and struggling with Duke. Yes I do believe that Randy Shannon is doing some On the job training as a head coach. He did get out-coached this past weekend. The best you can hope for as a cane fan is that it doesnt happen again and he learns, just like the players do. I think the players respond to him. This program is at a cross-roads right now. The veteran leadership that is suppose to show the way for the young guys is making all the mistakes. As the year goes on Im sure the younger guys will start taking some of these starting positions away and then we will truly see what we are made of. IMO a good coach will win games he is not suppose to win. Hopefully down the road we steal one from Ga Tech, Va Tech, or Wake when are young players have "learned how to win".

RIGHT ON TRACK FOR BECOMING BOWL INELIGIBLE 2 YEARS IN A ROW

I THINK U MEAN - HOPE THAT U DON'T HIRE YOUR 4TH CHOICE COACH AFTER RANDY IS FIRED

"THE PLAY WAS CANCELLED BUT THERE SHOULD HAVE BEEN A FLAG" - Cat5 Cane

EXCUSE U - maybe, just maybe if Randy would have pleaded for Bobby not to run up the score on him U would have had a chance.

"how about a progress report on Shannon?" - Boston Cane

How about Kirby just proclaims the inevitable now - Randy "Big Phat Liar" Shannon Style

"That he intends to keep the entire coaching staff intact and not fire anyone"

THE PROGRESS REPORT WAS ALMOST DEAD ON THE FRONT SEVEN(was the bottom of the barrel).

WE HAVE THE #38(Scoring Offense)IN THE NCAA &
THE #63 (Scoring Defense)

BILL YOUNG HAS GOT TO GO!!!

NCAA (Red Zone Efficiency) - Defense #116 IN THE COUNTRY 16 DRIVES 16 SCORES 7 RUSH TDs 7 PASS TDs & 2 FGs. BILL IS PERFECT 16-16 100% WHEN HAVE WE EVER HAD A RED ZONE "D" LIKE THIS????

NCAA(Red Zone Efficiency)ON OFFENSE #25 21 DRIVES
19 SCORES 12 TDs 7FGs
OUR "D" IS TIED FOR #116 THAT IS DEAD LAST IN THE NCAA

I was disappointed with the first half, but the fight these young boys put up was exciting. Da U is coming back and is making progress. Everyone quit with the coach bashing. How was Randy outcoached? For the second straight week we did not execute on plays. How many key drops did we have? I could remember a key drop pass before the half when Jacory led us down field and when Hankerson gave up on a pass by letting Carter take it from him. The coaching personel is entact but the play making and leadership of the veterans are absent. Like a previous post pointed out why is Gavin Hardin(true freshman) getting the defense focus? We are missing veteran leadership, but we have some up and coming with the underclassmen.

One thing for sure UM will when at least 7 games. This year sort of reminds me of the 1999 Canes squad. A young team with limited veteran leadership(Ed James) but grows together and learns how to win. Remember that same year we traveled to #2 UCLA and upset the Bruins. Canesrule you really is "Sellin Out", right now. But enjoy while you can because the Canes are coming back. Canesrule, "Laugh Now Cry Later".

CANESRULE,

YOUR MOM HAS BEEN RAN THROUGH SO MANY TIMES I CAN FIT MY SIZE 12 UP HER TWAT. I WILL SAY THIS, SHE IS FINGER LICKIN GOOD, IF IT WASN'T FOR POPYES CHICKEN I'D BE FIGHTING SARASOTA OVER HER SWEET TASTING THIGHS, AND BREASTS... MMM MMM GOOD!!

ISRAEL GUTIEREZ IS THE QUEEN TO ALL THESE GAYTOR HOOEZ. CANESRULE HOW DOES IT FEEL TO BE ISRAEL'S BIATCH?

U will travel to Duke's house. Don't look past the Dukeys you fools. More ACC losses await you. Match your 3rd place finish in the sorry ACC COASTAL division and be happy with it.

What happened to all the 9-3 or 8-4 experts that were so prevalent here?

The rest of the nation chuckles at U for having faith in Shannon. You will be a doormat in the lowly ACC as long as that guy is your head coach.

U are a JOKE

Virginia fan reads this message board and pees himself from laughter.

Most teams fans say "we suk" when the team actually sukks. NOT DUHU fans. Oh no. You guys blabber on and on about the distant past and the distant future.

THERE IS NOTHING TO TALK ABOUT IN THE PRESENT AT DUHWHO

program wrecking coach

sorry stadium

overrrated recruits.

YOU HAVEN"T SEEN THE BOTTOM YET CANE FAN

ACC DOORMATS

Funny you say that above^^^^, such a cool guy!
You haters dread the fact that we WILL be back, it must suck knowing your team has had more down years than the U, so laugh now while you can,and please take it all in like canesrule's mom.

LAMAR MILLER COMMITS TO THE U!

We now have the #1, 9, 19 RBS of 2009.

Great news on Miller! Now we need to round out the class with some OL, a WR, a LB, a DL, a DB? What else? how many scholarships do we have?

Typical dumb a s s cane fan. Spouting off about some high school kid. Yeah man, he's the answer. He'll help your anemic blocking, your pathetic coach, your sorry team. Oh yeah, LAMAR MILLER BABY !!

"the fact that we WILL be back" - cane fan You haven't been ranked in over two years. DuhU's coaching staff hasn't developed squat in even longer than two years. Keep celebrating the most overrated thing in all of college football- RECRUITS.

You don't know what a "fact" is you clod.

UUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU

SUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCK !!!!

I don't "hate" duhU. Nope. But it is fun to laugh at you jugheads that think the ship is righted.

You haven't seen the bottom yet. ( Miller will change that though)
