Wall gives UM high marks after visit

The Miami Hurricanes took their best shot at the nation's No. 1 available basketball recruit this weekend. So, did staying on South Beach and hanging out with Jack McClinton this weekend convince future NBA Lottery star point guard John Wall that UM could be the place he spends one year before collecting a multi-million million dollar paycheck at the next level?

John Wall Let's just say the Hurricanes might now really be in the mix. After reading several interviews Wall gave various media outlets in the time since his visit, it appears at the very least Miami made an impression.

“Now they are up there," Wall told Scout.com's Evan Daniels. "I’m not going to lie, I wasn’t really considering them that hard, but I hadn’t taken a visit there and I didn’t know how it was going to be and how the coaches were. After I took the visit it really opened my eyes up."

“I feel like I like the school better than I did before,” he said. “I had Miami on my list but I never really considered them. I didn’t know how it was. I knew it was going to be nice in Florida, but didn’t know how it was school wise and that all the players from different sports get along great.”

“From talking to coach [Frank] Haith, I really got a chance to sit down and talk to him one-on-one for a few hours and we watched some film and I just felt like it was a great place.”

Great place? Sure, we've heard that before. But could UM really be the final destination? That remains to be seen. This week, Wall told several reporters he would cut his list of finalists -- Miami, Kentucky, Florida, Duke, Baylor, N.C. State, Memphis -- down considerably before making a final decision.

"I'm going to sit down this week and really talk it out," Wall told TheDevilsDen.com "I think I will have it down to two or three schools by the end of the week. After that I can concentrate just on those schools and make a decision I'm comfortable with."

What will he be considering?

"There's just a lot to think about, really," Wall told TheDevilsDen.com. "Do I want to leave home for a year? I mean you can't control where you get drafted, so this would be my last year at home. Which coaches do I fit well with? Which teams? How do I like the campus? That kind of thing. There's just a lot to think about."

You got to give coach Frank Haith some credit. At the very least, he not only got the nation's No. 1 available player to visit UM, but make them sound great, too. And believe me, other recruits listen.

That's 4 UM hurricanes drafted. 3 UF players drafted.

Posted by: Jaime | April 29, 2009 at 01:57 PM

In all fairness to the Douche Bag to the north, the latter three were signed, not drafted!

I'm surprised he did not "rip" your head off! He must be trying on his Tebow thong!

Howdy Don, yeah these cane honks are about a funny bunch. Everyone FEARS the U !!

They can't see the forest from the trees.

Yes, it is fun to take batting practice on their ignorance.

Good comedy all around.

Remember last year when they were getting kicked around and cane fans everywhere let their anger remove their inhibitions? They went OFF on Marble Mouf every single weekend. Where are they now? Time has healed the pain and they are all smacky again. They'll get back in their "Randy is the WORST" routine as September winds down. Guaranteed!

Presently they think we are all worked up because they got Ray Ray.
Quality player that he is, I would never swap that guy for Debose. We all know who got the gem of the Sanford trio.

They never ever EVER want to discuss the dismal state of their program. Instead it's always about telling us how much better they are than the GAYTORS. If that's how you feel cane fan, fine. But at least acknowledge what a train wreck your program is. It's called humility.

They are up in a huff because they've decided that we are scared to play them in '13 and we'll back out. We don't need to make up comedy because these clowns make enough of it with absurd assumptions like those.

"That's 4 UM hurricanes drafted." -Hialeah Jamie
Let's get this straight. UM had four players DRAFTED? Sometimes it's barely worth responding to you because you are immensely stupid. And about a week ago you said you wouldn't be responding to me anymore. Whu happin? Just yesterday you blew a gasket and went to CAPS LOCK and offered yet ANOTHER one of your mindless sermons. C'mon Hialeah Jamie. Ignore me.

pay attention to the U:

I was bored out of my mind at work looking for a good article about the U and I ran into that. I am both still sick to my stomach and not able to stop laughing!

Repost for the rest of you:

Besides spending time chasing all us Canes and reading everything about us and those classy interviews you have with Chris Hanson with a 6 Pack of Zima in one hand and a pack of heaters in the other..What the hell else do U have time to do in your pathetic life you fat DUI pig...We get to sit back and enjoy all 3 of your F_U boyz fail at the next level as always...

Ke-loser. Go play with your s-ter and then jump into one of those traylor ville swamps. There is no use for your kind in society

waste of good DNA. That's what yo da--dy said.

K-turd:

you got the gem of the Sanford Trio? Based on what? Your slanted viewpoint? Is that why UF recruited all three? What do you base that on? I am very interested in how you deduce the conclusions you reach. It wouldn't be the same type of thinking you accuse Canes fans of having, would it? I mean, that would be contradictory, hypocritical, lacking any sort of critical analysis in your arguments, all the things that you, as an edumuhcated UF alum, would never do.

K-turd?

Ke-loser?

GAYTURD?

Traylorville?

Don't U guys know that those things hurt? SHUCKS !

But more importantly, how long into september before cane fan calls for Randy's unqualified head? He's a lifelong coordinator. Has no business being a HC. U know. I know it. He is a trailblazer though.

Will you guys see the top 25 in 09? Likely not. ITS ALL ABOUT THE U

Typical response from a stunted intellect. No answer to the questions. Just change the subject and speculate on something else. Way to go. You answered my last question without really answering it. You are a fine example of the UF undergraduate curriculum, and Corinne Brown is a fine example of the graduate programs. And this is before budget cuts further negatively impact the edumucashun you would receive there.

Who cares about the draft, and who was drafted, blah blah blah?! None of that matters. Gaytor fans are actually correct on this one. They didn't have enough players leave to show any significance in the draft. If Spikes would have left he would have been a first rounder. Next year will be a totally different story when majority of their juniors leave anyway. BUT like I said, none of that matters.

We all know and even U Gaytor fans know, Coker hurt this program than any coach has done any program in the history of CFB as far as what program he invested. Especially, a program who's backyard oozes with talent. Hell, he didn't even have a recruiting coordinator. WTF?!?! Now I hope this sheds some light in Gafor Nation. We are simply seeing the remnants of what he brought into this program. It is what it is, and is being fixed. Any moron can see that.

How in the world does a 1st year head coach with a 5-7 record bring in the #1 recruiting class? And to say this program is done or whatever you spew. That is just ignorant. Hell, I see plenty of 1st rounders on this squad today, and haven't felt this way in 3 years.

The bottom line is, UF benefited from FSU and THE U being down. That is the entire reason they are where they are right now. And it scares them to death to see THE U and FSU coming back. Why? Cause they are NOTHING in this state when FSU and THE U are where they are suppose to be. The truth is, history repeats itself, and they simply do not know how to live at the top because they are rarely, and I do mean RARELY, there.

Miami was one game away from winning it's division last year with the youngest team in the ACC. Youth showed towards the end, and the upper classmen, well, we all know about those Cokerites.

We bring in an NFL guy with a college national championship under his belt as a head coach, coached up Big Ben and McNabb, and is known as an offensive genius with 5,000 yard passers, not one but two 1,000 yard rushers, not one but two 1,000 yard receivers. We bring in another guy for defense who was actually recommended from TT himself. You know, TT is the guy that use to give UF fits at Auburn, and would know another defensive mind to fit this program. And U know you LOVETTE!!!

With all that said, and Gaytor fans continue to spew venom on this blog, just shows how stupid you really are. Please show you have somewhat of a brain, and act like it. Oh, wait, I just read the only weakness to a Gaytor is their lima bean sized brains. That explains it all!

GO CANES!!!

That's 4 UM hurricanes drafted. 3 UF players drafted.

LMFFFFFFFFFFFFF Ao.
shut up ko-hown. You are a ba--trd child of Urban the cryer.

So signing as a first cut free agent means U got drafted huh?

U Canes just stay dumb ,then get dumber ...

Every time any one of us wastes his or her valuable time answering that stupid Gaytor Troll who has no life and spends his miserable existence reading articles about the only real school in Florida, i.e., the University of Miami, in his small mind he feels somehow important. He is a mental midget who knows very well that we Canes' fans could care less about the Gaytors; however, these trailer-trash losers from Gaynesville are all the same, i.e., they are obsessed with the U because we've dominated the Gaytors for so long that not even winning a championship overcomes their obsession with the Canes. I guess that comes with taking butt-whippings from the U for over the last decade, coupled with the realization that the U is close to being a national power house again and the Gaytors travelling smoke and mirrors show is about to close it's show once T-bag leaves next year. Everyone should just chill and completely igonore the idiotic comments posted here, which are clearly coming from the same obsessed loser Gaytor fan who keeps changing his name but is too stupid to realize that he is just flaunting his ignorance and we all know it's him. His level of stupidity shines through loud and clear with every post he makes. If we just igonore him, maybe he will just go away and go back to making out with his sister and resort to his favorite activity, i.e., making love to his sorted farm animals behind his trailer. Word of advice to the Gaytor Troll: being fat, dumb and a gaytor fan is no way to go through life bro -get out of your mom's basement and get a life. Put a real player in the NFL and then pop-off loser!!

as if Yoorban leaving to ND was not a done deal before, the budget cuts across the board will drive him into alma mater's loving arms.

yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaawwwwwwwwwwwnnnnnnnnnnn ...

If you look at the young players that Miami has on their roster, together with the new recruits coming in and the numbers that these kids are putting up in the 40 and the weight room (Baley a DT who weighs almost 290 pounds ran a 4.6 forty, that's what I'm talking about), it is not surprising that the Gaytor fans are nervous and spend their time reading everything ever written about the Canes - they know the U is coming back strong and they are scuuurrrred! Question to the Gaytor Trolls - have the Gaytors ever gone undefeated in a championship season? Other than Youngblood, Emmit Smith and Wilbur Marshall, can you name any other players in the long Gaytor history that deserve to be in the NFL hall of fame? Can you name 2 players currently in the NFL who have played for more than 5 years and started, and are considered impact players in the NFL or pro bowl quality players? Can you name any player currently in the NFL from Florida that is having a hall of fame career from UF? I thought so...continue playing that gimmicky offense and try to beat Ole' Miss at home girls. You have the softest schedule in college football this year, try going undefeated for once with your 20 returning starters and then you can talk. U will never come close to matching Miami's accomplishments so get used to it fools - you can't talk tough when you are afraid to put the U on your weakass schedule every year. We call you out each year and you run and hide like the little girls that U are. Enjoy your short ride cause it is all over for U, and the Canes are coming around the corner looking for you wussies. Board up your traliers cause a category 5 hurricane is brewing in Miami - hurry, run and hide.

Good job by Haith. John Wall would love Miami. Great school on the rise, beautiful city. He would get a lot of play time. I just hope he doesn't read these blogs. The UF UM football nonsense is so stupid.

Dumb, dumb, dumb ...

Scout.com not slanted view... just facts

Armstrong 13th. ranked Safty

Dye 20th ranked D.E.

Debose 3rd. ranked WR

U any good at math ?

U do realize which of the trio will have the ball in his hands 15-20 + times a game ?

click n U will cry

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0cFk6cP5dfU

Shannon would trade the "other" two for Debose without blinking.

Be careful about this arguement in public or you'll prove just what a no nothing moron U truly are...

Enjoy Ur two "gems" on D and an offense that won't average 20 points a game.

Excuse U ... We are young.

2008 National Champions are YOUNGER THAN U !!!

Ok ok I'll stop posting inane rude problems on a UM blog, because it makes me look like the dumb trailor tr-sh that I am. I acknowledge that UM is better than Uf, has been better and will always be better. The school is better, and the football team has always been Uf's daddy. I acknowledge that just because UF had a run of excellent years thanks to unethical yet legal recruiting, a gimmicky offense that (admittedly just like Utah's of 2004, Missouri's and West Virginia's is hard to stop), Um is already on the rise and will dominate not only a team that refuses to play UM year in year out, but will dominate college football together. I acknowledge that UM will win 3 national championships in the next 20 years, while UF, once the big headed half back leaves will win none.

Signed,

Ke-puke.

Prediction:

UF will not win the NC next year
UM will finish inthe top 15.
UM will win the NC in 2010
UF will not be ranked following the 2011-2015 seasons

Urban Cryer will leave UF in 2011
UF will be investigated in 2010 1/2
UF will be under NCAA sanctions staring 2012

Kepuke will nevr be heard of again after 2010

right, because scout.com and all other "recruit" rankings are always dead on. I mean, Arthur Brown was clearly the best linebacker in the country last year since he was the #1 recruit in the country the year before. Mitch Mustain, the #1 QB recruit in '05, must be the new starter at USC...oh, he's not? He's 3rd string? And there was this slack-ass 3-star QB recruit from a few years back,,,ummm.... oh, yeah, Sam Bradford. He won the Heisman. So I guess those rankings are really gospel. No need to do consider anything more.

What an apoligist you are, Gaytr dope. Child's play debating you.

HOLY SHYT !! I just watched that Debose highlight video. My jaw dropped a couple of times. That first run is as filthy as it gets.

This kids burst is like nothing else. WOW !

You can have RR & DD.

Keep hating "baby canes."

Great job smacking these ingorant candy canes around 'Lil Steamer.
Hialeah Jamie and Mycanes are NOT the sharpest tools in the shed.

Great post.

Let's get back to JUST the THREE from Sanford ... Or is the A.D.D kicking in?

No debate. Debose is the PLAYMAKER of the bunch and was the most desired by EVERY "REAL" program around the country.
Now are U going to tell me how Duh U's recruiting class isn't any good because the rankings are irrelevant like U ?

U can't have it both ways.

And there will not be one sane Cane fan here that will honestly agree with U and say they didn't want the Debose kid over the other two...

That's not up for debate U fool... Thats pure fact. And come Fall Saturdays, when Ur riding that .500% fence, U will be watching on MAJOR T.V. NETWORK a STAR emerging and being developed on the way to yet another 'SHIP.

On ESPNU & 360 U will also watching 2 non-impact defensive freshman getting their brains beat in down by 3 scores with only 4 F.G.s on offense... And U MYCANES will be watching the GATORS on T.V. U won't be able to turn away because it will be a constant reminder of what U once were and will never will be again...

Got to admit though, Ur right, A. Brown does suck.

OK CANEIOTS... Spout off about how U'd rather have the Two Defensive players from Sanford rather than playmaking Andre Debose... Let's confirm what we already know...

Enjoy the silence mycanes

ps- let me know when U cross the 50 yrd. line ... Having a playmaker might get U there a little quicker. U get it? Well we gotz it in NUMBERS !!!

Yeah Art, ya know, I'm beginning to feel a little sorry for these lost Canes... Their football knowledge is eroding as quickly as their football program... Guess being 19-19 the past 3 years will do that to a fan...

Oh well ...

Hey, how 'bout I give Christ Vagotis and a few of the ole boys a call and we meet up down at Corbetts someday soon. Hell, we'll can all do our Dennis Erickson face down on the bar drunk imitations for ol time sake and talk about how the good ol days at Duh U used to be?

Sound like a plan?

Gotta admit another thing mycanes...

Ray Ray sure knows how to dump the ball off to #4, hand the ball off to #4 and get the hell out of the way when #4 is lined up in the single wing ready to make another play.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0cFk6cP5dfU

U enjoy Ur Safety (with NO corner help) and undersized average D.E.

Hey mycanes. Lets see if U learned something today?

Where did Urban Meyer go to college ?

Come on ... take Ur time.

yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaawwwwwwwwwwwnnnnnnnnnnn ...

Posted by: U Gotz Me In Ur Cane Head | April 29, 2009 at 03:53 PM

Yeah you're so far in our head that we are posting on Gator sites night and day! Oh wait, that's YOU!! My bad!

I love how you brush right over the fact that your school is in the midst of a complete financial meltdown, but the UAA is going to throw up an $8,000,000.00 JumboTron for six home games a year! That's $133,000.00 a game for the next ten years! "Who cares, I never went to college"! EXACTLY!

Meanwhile, the president of UF is quietly making the moves to secure more revenue from the UAA. Many of the UF student body have had it with the money being thrown at athletic programs and facilities, while academic programs continue to erode! It's a university STUPID, not a pro football franchise!

Take it from The U, it's tough to be on top! You've been rolling with the target for three years now, try wearing it for almost three decades!

You know it's cool for the state to have three programs that can deliver the goods on a regular basis. The state of Florida has delivered 10 titles since 1983. The state of Florida has lost 7 more! 17 title games in 26 years! That's not enough for you??? Oh, I get it! Since you're throwing aRound $85,000,000.00 a year, you want to call the shots! Unfortunately, that's not how it works! Title wise, head to head, quality of life, you're still The U's byatch!

ALWAYS HAVE BEEN, ALWAYS WILL BE!

Dubose would not have started for UM, and Ray Ray would not have started for UF. There were openings at their positions at the schools they chose!

These kid might have a favorite school coming out of HS, but their goal is to get to the NFL as quickly as possible.

Kids want to play! They look at the Deonte Thompson's of the world and say not me! I want to play now! I don't care if it's USF, UCF, FSU, UM, Rutgers, etc. Put me in coach!

Dubose would not have started for UM and Ray Ray would not have started for UF.

U have got to be kidding ... U ever get tired of being wrong? Or in this case half right ?

U don't have one kid on Ur roster with Debose's skills... NOT ONE !

Ahhh, forget it. U are like the rest. Maybe the dumbest with that analysis...

Hey Art ... It never ends.

Get one offensive player drafted in the first round and then we can talk.

QB no
RB no
TE doubtful in the first round
WR no
OL maybe

Hate what I say, but it's the truth. The spread offense doesn't prepare the entire team for the NFL. Why do you think that no NFL team is trying to pull Meyer away from Florida?

Kids will eventually start asking Urban Meyer to Show Me The Money.

For the record, I do like Tebow because he has character and class.

You on the other hand probally shouldn't spend too much time on the internet, because your other hand might get upset that the other is hogging all the fun. Or what's left of the poor litle chicken. Three things to remember... switch hands and make sure you wash your hands and clean your computer cause I don't want you to get that Swine flu for spending too much time on the internet. You need to get off... no pun intended... this site.

I bet you wished Tebow would circumcise you.

Gaytor fans. I guess the Spread Offense only works for you.

Let me guess... U play fantasy football right ?

Posted by: Debose Will Take The Place Of A 1st. Rounder But Can't Start For The 6-6 Stacked U ? | April 29, 2009 at 07:50 PM

Are you kidding me? UM is stacked at WR AND RB! Dude just finished HS! Who would he start ahead of without the benefit of spring ball?? Would he play, certainly! Would he start, not a chance! Have you ever followed college football before????

STILL TROLLING THE 'CANES BLOG, DAY 285...

OK CANEIOTS, yet another poll...

Do U agree with Kehoe Bleeds Orange & Green that Duh U would NOT be able to find a spot on Offense for Andre Debose to get 30-40 reps ???

(then again, would Randy be smart enough)

U get ready for more silence ...

Oh, now it's he would play ... 30-40 reps equals a starter genius. Who cares who's in on the first play... By game Three he'll be starting for the defending National Champs and shining... He saw what U had going on down there as a PROGRAM and told his boyz, good luck... Had NOTHING to do with what Average Talent U had @ W.R last year...

I'll spare U Ur anemic rushing stats.

amazing how it works out. Brilliant Gaytr posts: all players that UF recruits happen to be gems; everyone else is second-tier. and 'canes fans are narrow-mineded?

One more thing: it really doesn't matter where Turban went to school. He will leave you Gaytrs just as sure as your mellon-headed Jesus QB will. Then you will sink back to mid-level SEC while the 'Canes are on top for a string of several years. Maybe then I will be able to understand your bitterness. Right now, you have no reason to be so bitter other than you graduated (or failed to graduate) from UF.

30-40 reps

A game??? You are an idiot! Time to get back to Gator Clause! There's an auction going on for Tim's underwear!

Nice "save" with the "by game three or four" schtick! That's not starting, FOOL! By game 3-4 for UF means what??? Charleston, Troy, don't even say TENN!!! We all know what's going on there!

Serious question: Should UF build the $8,000,000.00 JumboTron, with 800 layoffs looming?

http://www.firstcoastnews.com/news/florida/news-article.aspx?storyid=136058

It looks like UF will be releasing their budget in late May. The state schools are in SERIOUS financial trouble! It appears worse than I first thought! UF's president in particular is extremely worried about the future.

WOW!

Kehoe Bleeds Orange & Green

U get back to me when some of Ur sane Cane pals agree with U that Debose wouldn't start for Duh U ...

yeah, I was off a little with the 30-40 reps... That's a UF configuration over 60-70 plays...

It would equal out to about 20-25 reps within 40-50 plays @ the U what with U not being able to string together a few first downs, not being able to cross the 50 yrd. line an entire half and Ur PUNTER being Ur MVP ... Paaaathetic

Come on Caneiots ... We're waiting

Who cares ? The $ will always roll in @ Florida...

Maybe if U got all them soon to be retired Canes in the pros to donate back to the program by selling off some of their useless bling and gold teeffess, U wouldn't have to rent a stadium and take the bus to away games...

Oh God... An Accountant that thinks he knows football... No one cares

The UF Athletic program will be just fine... Don't U worry lil Cane bean counter.

Still no takers that Debose wouldn't start a Duh U ???

mmmm hmmm thought so ... U get back to me bloody kehoe.

The money is drying up at Florida, FOOL! ESPN cannot save the financial fiasco that is about to hit UF! Drift away from our blog once in a while and watch the news once in a while!

As far as player support goes, UM is second to NONE! The U is famous for it's family like atmosphere, and off-season workouts! You can run into any # of Hall of Famers, Bob Marley's son Rohan, The Rock, A-rod, etc. They give VERY generously to The U!

And once again you stoop to racism in order to make a ridiculous point, NICE! Dude, you are such a loser!

IT'S NOT EVEN CLOSE!

Get one offensive player drafted in the first round and then we can talk.

Are U serious ??? ok i'll bite

Uhhhhhh, duhhhhhhhh, this year Percy Harvin perhaps?

Spare me, I don't want to talk to U.

U just took over the #1 ranking as dumbest Cane blogger on my new Gator blog...

And U might want to get Ur mind off such vulger notions... Or at the very least, keep that kind of stuff to Urself. It exposes the type of person U really are... Try a little harder to get laid while Ur at it.

Jesus Cane fans... U cannot as a whole be this stupid !!!

Art, this is truly unreal what has happened to Cane fan.

Ray Ray is coming to the U because he has a chance to play safety or OLB and become a NFL All-Pro. UF has never had a safety or OLB like Ray Ray (size, speed, ball skills), while UM has produced dozens. That is no coincidence.

Dubose is talented, but he would not see the field at UM because he would be just another inexperienced WR at a loaded position, and he will have to learn to run routes in a pro-style offense. UM develops NFL stars, not gimmicky college players.

Dubose wants to go UF and become the next Percy Harvin (injury prone, selfish pothead). It may help him in college, but its not the place for an aspiring NFL player. Deonte Thompson, who has NFL potential, made the wrong choice of schools because he is forced to sacrifice developing his route-running so he can run Urban's gimmicky offense.

Jevon Kearse- Wilber Marshall-Louis Oliver

U say Dozens? ok give me 24-30.

Dubose is talented, but he would not see the field at UM because he would be just another inexperienced WR at a loaded position...

U mean those 3-4 W.R.'s that averaged 2 catches and 30 yrds per game? They are inexperienced because they are not developed... And now running a new offense they will remain that way. U might want to give those 2008 stats another look and recognize the blanks from the real bullets.

U stick with fantasy football son...

Never see the field? wow

ok Sane Cane fan ... U can have this one too.

Kearse (injury prone DE), Marshall (Buddy Ryan defense) and Oliver (throws good parties, but gets beat over the top every time)? Over the last 30 years, that's the best U got?

I can just stick to the last few years and one position, safety, and UM can top that - Sean Taylor (2 Pro Bowls), Kenny Phillips (All Rookie and should be Pro Bowl), Antrel Rolle (Safety on Super Bowl Cardinals), Brandon Merriweather (star in the making), and Ed Reed (NFL Def. Player of year). Need I continue?

I am not saying that Ray Ray WILL be an all pro because that is obviously debatable and noone can project that at this stage. However, it is not debatable that if Ray Ray (or any other recruit) wants to be a star in the NFL some day, UM is a better place to be.

Dubose can take his triple-threat skills to UF's gimmicky offense. He might thrive but he will also leave college with those same triple-threat skills (i.e., Percy Harvin), and he will not develop the skills or the weight-training to become an NFL star. Harvin was a star recruit but he never developed while he played at UF - as a matter of fact, I think he was better (more dangerous) player as a freshman.

Recruits need to come to the U if they want to be an NFL star some day

U said never I gave U three

U said dozens and gave me 5 .

Where are the other 19 OLB's ?

Percy came in at 180 and left @ 205

He benches over 400 lbs. and U have just ONE guy on Ur entire squad that does that.

U don't want to get into the weight training of Duh U and Florida... U are a weak football team.

Mean what U say and say what U mean.

Harvin was a star recruit but he never developed while he played at UF - as a matter of fact, I think he was better (more dangerous) player as a freshman.

There U go thinking again... Get back to me when U know something and back up ur claims.

Recruits need to come to the U if they want to be an NFL star some day

How'd that "Pro Day" work out for U this year?

1 prospect that didn't get drafted and 3-4 fat slobs running about in front of 4-5 scouts ?

Yeah, that's where U want to be.

And spare me the Coker excUses... That was on Randy's recruiting watch as well.

U once had great players...U are now an Average program... Except it andDeal with it.

19-19 over three years means it's OVA !

HOLY SHYT Bull Gator/U are no Kehoe ( my favorite)/Mycanes mind is a terrible thing to waste/ U wills stay forever dumb/dumbazzJamie/ 'Lil Steamer, You've kicked these guys. Not that it's that hard to take batting practice on them. It is nearly impossible though to get him/them to take an objective look at the state of the U.

HIGH FIVE !

These guys have been polluting UF blogs for YEARS. Yet we are supposed to "stay the fu@% out of HERE? SCREW U delusional moron. As long as the world class flamer/spammer/liar/3:00AMtroller continues to pollute our blogs U will receive the same. The only difference being, we stick you in your squinty (kehoe old skool) eye with opinions based on FACT. Where U post opinions based on tired rhetoric and the what U USED to be. What U used to be and what U are are two COMPLETELY DIFFERENT things FOOL. Don't agree? Just ask GT,NC,UVA,FSU, etc...... U have some serious beatdowns awaiting U in 09. Those opinions are based on your pathetic performance for many years running and your continual inability to develop players. It's a giant clusterfu$k down there. Say it isn't !

What is this guys obsession with UF's finances? He has IMAGINED this whole doom and gloom scenario. Does he have ANY idea how much money rolls into the UAA????? Gator Nation is RABID about its team and shows that in it's overwhelming financial support. Go look at the Bull Gator parking on game day and witness the endless line of extremely wealthy alumni in quarter million dollar RV's who pour money into the program. The little guy supports the program too as every game sells out. This same clown has been flaming UF blogs with his $8,000,000,000,000.00 jumbo-tron rant. SHUT UP YOU delusional little bean counter. Or continue with your clueless rant. Fact is, Gator Nation realizes that the ENTIRE state is in a money pinch but will continue to support the FOOTBALL MACHINE. It is what it is. State schools MAKE COLLEGE FOOTBALL GREAT. You endlessly indict "State schools" as though they are some horrible influence of college football. CLUELESS FOOL. Keep telling yourself that your little private school is at some advantage. It's laughable.

U keep carrying on about how glad you are that UM is small and self sufficient and private. WHAT A MORON. That exact thing is at the BASE of your steady erosion. Couple that with Donna and U R SCREWED !!! I think we can all agree that the erosion is clearly showing itself on the PERMANENT win loss record.

Debose? Please cane fan. Snap out of it. EVERYONE was recruiting all of the trio. All schools win some, lose some. Not getting a recruit isn't a "loss." It's the nature of the beast. Intelligent fans instead look at what you actually landed. And YOUR BELOVED ESPN RANKED UF ahead of U this year. Look FOOL, a lot of schools landed a LOT of good recruits in this cycle. Not just Florida. Not just UM. It's what you do with them that really matters. And we've seen for far too long that U are clueless in the leadership/development department. RANDY SHANNON? Okay cane fan. Roll with that guy. Afterall, he did win a "Trailblazer Award" from the Orange Bowl Committee. (cruel joke) In case you haven't noticed, your program is a Coaching CAROUSEL. How many ineffective defensive coordinators have you had in...oh lets say...the LAST FOUR YEARS ! ( U cry,we laugh)

U fan likes to think they are "marching back" because they are young and recruit very well. NEWSFLASH DORKO: UF is YOUNGER, recruits BETTER and are also the NATIONAL CHAMPIONS. It's as though you think no other school is recruiting. It's all about DUH U. ESPN ranked you #11 in this recruiting cycle. The ten teams ranked ahead of U all have more money, BETTER facilites, and BETTER COACHES, all of which ultimately leads to BETTER leadership. Cane fan just can't grasp this. Oh no, it's a U thing. Pay attention to the U. Yawwwwwwwn.

U are just a .500 program now. Maybe a shade above .500 to be fair. It can still be fun. But it will NEVER be the same no matter how much empty rhetoric U throw out. Your last two HC searches were FLAMING DISASTERS. Coker, Shannon. "Nuff said !

If you think you will be lead to the promise land by Jacory Harris, the NORTHWEST BALLAH, you just aren't very smart. Nice kid, GREAT kid, but he can't sniff the jock of the likes of Sanchez, Bradford, Tebow. Sorry kids, He's a nice little QB but that's it. Maybe he'll mature into a 9-10 win QB for you. That would be nice. But if you had a clue you would set your sights on the STINKING ACC TITLE first. You're inability to grasp that is a fatal flaw. Bottom line, nothing develops at UM. Just look at your steadily dropping draft prospects, terrible record, and horrendous breakdowns in units that lead to historical blowouts.

And finally, SHUT UP with the "when Urban goes to ND" NONSENSE ! U guys should get an award for being the most ignorant to facts. FACT IS, Notre Dame came at Urban HARD when he was choosing his last job. He would have gone THEN if it was truly his "dream job." He said dream job tongue in cheek and KNOWS you can't win there. Cane fan will NEVER grasp this and will continually salivate about when "Urban leaves." Keep dreaming fools. He came to the best AD in the country and championships are FLOWING IN. His entire staff and all associated with him speaking GLOWINGLY about him, even the ones who have departed. Coaches across the nation and conference praise him. Yet clueless cane fan is sitting in the corner crying about him lying to a linebacker and kicking a field goal. You guys are complete idiots.

The most POIGNANT FACT about how fall you've fallen was pointed out earlier. Your F'in KICKER was your team MVP. Have you fully digested how sad that is?

I agree, this is too easy.

"The money is drying up at Florida." HUH???? WHU??? Incredible in it's complete ignorance. UF football program is ROLLING IN CASH U FOOL
Where do U dream this c r a p up? Have U been getting your news from canesrule? That's the only explanation. Paying for the 80 billion dollar jumbo tron is chump change you cretin.

It's also comedic to listen to cane fan yamber on and on about the NFL. The lopsided draft numbers of the early part of this decade are starting to tumble right.....wait for it....NOW ! Your pro day was a sad display. It only underlined the erosion and clear LACK OF DEVELOPMENT that is so prevalent at UM. Next year will be NO better cane fan. Yes, UM placed many a stud in the league. That was the OLD DAYS. U don't place squat anymore.

Any player who spurns or doesn't play at Duh U "wouldn't be able to get on the field." That is the biggest GD joke you have EVER played on YOURSELVES. Seriously. It demonstrates how completely ignorant U are about the reality of your depth chart. Debose will light it up very soon and disgruntled cane fan will say, "it's that gimmicky offense. He wouldn't see the field with our stable of recievers." Your WR group is a bunch of soft underachievers. That's not just me hating. That is what the STATS HOLLER in your "pro set" offense that you are so proud of.
You top yourselves in the ignorance department daily.

Great job blaming Coker for all your woes. Yet another example of U mocking yoursleves. Coker is ALL U COULD GET. Just like Shannon is ALL U COULD GET. Do you see the pattern clowns? Both searches were abysmal failures and ended with a VASTLY UNQUALIFIED guy from WITHIN. But U keep feeling good about your "small private school."

I swear this stuff just writes itself.

Hialeah Jamie? Spare us AND U fans your blown gasket CAPS LOCK rant. Or carry on about your four players that were drafted.(???? facts challenged U are) It shows how pathetic U have become when you are bragging about your program by accounting for undrafted "free agents" who are long shots to make teams and get CUT. Way to go U.

Randy to receive a Trailblazer Award from the Orange Bowl Committee?

Dare I say foreshadowing for our 2009 season?
Randy receives a make believe award named in honor of a stadium that has been demolished.

Outstanding Randy.

Harvin was a star recruit but he never developed while he played at UF - as a matter of fact, I think he was better (more dangerous) player as a freshman. -Windbag

There U go projecting your OWN shorcomings onto others. ANY suggestion Harvin didn't develop is as CLUELESS as it gets. Where do U dream this garbage up Windbag? Harvin DIDN"T develop? I haven't seen too many undeveloped guys go in the 1st round of the draft. Unlike the weak canes, he benched 225 pounds 22 times. Don't let jealousy COMPLETELY blind you to reality.

I'm hoping that this year we can get over our FEAR for Duh U.
