Wall gives UM high marks after visit

The Miami Hurricanes took their best shot at the nation's No. 1 available basketball recruit this weekend. So, did staying on South Beach and hanging out with Jack McClinton this weekend convince future NBA Lottery star point guard John Wall that UM could be the place he spends one year before collecting a multi-million million dollar paycheck at the next level?

John Wall Let's just say the Hurricanes might now really be in the mix. After reading several interviews Wall gave various media outlets in the time since his visit, it appears at the very least Miami made an impression.

“Now they are up there," Wall told Scout.com's Evan Daniels. "I’m not going to lie, I wasn’t really considering them that hard, but I hadn’t taken a visit there and I didn’t know how it was going to be and how the coaches were. After I took the visit it really opened my eyes up."

“I feel like I like the school better than I did before,” he said. “I had Miami on my list but I never really considered them. I didn’t know how it was. I knew it was going to be nice in Florida, but didn’t know how it was school wise and that all the players from different sports get along great.”

“From talking to coach [Frank] Haith, I really got a chance to sit down and talk to him one-on-one for a few hours and we watched some film and I just felt like it was a great place.”

Great place? Sure, we've heard that before. But could UM really be the final destination? That remains to be seen. This week, Wall told several reporters he would cut his list of finalists -- Miami, Kentucky, Florida, Duke, Baylor, N.C. State, Memphis -- down considerably before making a final decision.

"I'm going to sit down this week and really talk it out," Wall told TheDevilsDen.com "I think I will have it down to two or three schools by the end of the week. After that I can concentrate just on those schools and make a decision I'm comfortable with."

What will he be considering?

"There's just a lot to think about, really," Wall told TheDevilsDen.com. "Do I want to leave home for a year? I mean you can't control where you get drafted, so this would be my last year at home. Which coaches do I fit well with? Which teams? How do I like the campus? That kind of thing. There's just a lot to think about."

You got to give coach Frank Haith some credit. At the very least, he not only got the nation's No. 1 available player to visit UM, but make them sound great, too. And believe me, other recruits listen.

Hey Manny

I really enjoy your writing and in depth coverage of the Canes when football is in season. You should consider starting a blog where Canes fans can discuss UM football and other athletics.

I would totally love that blog. I am not sure what this blog is anymore, but a UM football blog it is not.

It is now run by your football overlords.

Ray Ray was the #13 ranked recruit by Rivals and Dubose was seven slots down at #21. As a matter of fact, Ray Ray shot up the charts after people had a chance to evaluate his play on the field in 2008. Ray Ray is a stud.

Meyer definitely inflates weight-room and 40 times, but if you compare UM's times and weight room numbers over the years (See Manny's Jan. 16th article) you see that UM's times hold up at the combine. For example, Meyer said on several occassions that Harvin was the fastest player in the country, but he went to the NFL combine and ran a 4.41? That is hardly exceptional speed.

Harvin is supposed to play receiver in the NFL, so lets look at the FACTS:

PERCY HARVIN STATS Receiving
Statistics No Yds Avg TD
2008 40 644 16.1 7
2007 59 858 14.5 4
2006 34 427 12.6 2
Career 133 1,929 14.5 13

Explosiveness? Harvin's receiving touchdowns, yards-per-catch went down each year. FACTS!

HOLY SHYT Bull Gator/U are no Kehoe ( my favorite)/Mycanes mind is a terrible thing to waste/ U wills stay forever dumb/dumbazzJamie/ 'Lil Steamer, You've kicked this guy around tonight. Not that it's that hard to take batting practice on him. It is nearly impossible though to get him/them to take an objective look at the state of the U.

HIGH FIVE !

These guys have been polluting UF blogs for YEARS. Yet we are supposed to "stay the fu@% out of HERE? SCREW U delusional moron. As long as the world class flamer/spammer/liar/3:00AMtroller continues to pollute our blogs U will receive the same. The only difference being, we stick you in your squinty (kehoe old skool) eye with opinions based on FACT. Where U post opinions based on tired rhetoric and the what U USED to be. What U used to be and what U are are two COMPLETELY DIFFERENT things FOOL. Don't agree? Just ask GT,NC,UVA,FSU, etc...... U have some serious beatdowns awaiting U in 09. Those opinions are based on your pathetic performance for many years running and your continual inability to develop players. It's a giant clusterfu$k down there. Say it isn't !

What is this guys obsession with UF's finances? He has IMAGINED this whole doom and gloom scenario. Does he have ANY idea how much money rolls into the UAA????? Gator Nation is RABID about its team and shows that in it's overwhelming financial support. Go look at the Bull Gator parking on game day and witness the endless line of extremely wealthy alumni in quarter million dollar RV's who pour money into the program. The little guy supports the program too as every game sells out. This same clown has been flaming UF blogs with his $8,000,000,000,000.00 jumbo-tron rant. SHUT UP YOU delusional little bean counter. Or continue with your clueless rant. Fact is, Gator Nation realizes that the ENTIRE state is in a money pinch but will continue to support the FOOTBALL MACHINE. It is what it is. State schools MAKE COLLEGE FOOTBALL GREAT. You endlessly indict "State schools" as though they are some horrible influence of college football. CLUELESS FOOL. Keep telling yourself that your little private school is at some advantage. It's laughable.

U keep carrying on about how glad you are that UM is small and self sufficient and private. WHAT A MORON. That exact thing is at the BASE of your steady erosion. Couple that with Donna and U R SCREWED !!! I think we can all agree that the erosion is clearly showing itself on the PERMANENT win loss record.

Debose? Please cane fan. Snap out of it. EVERYONE was recruiting all of the trio. All schools win some, lose some. Not getting a recruit isn't a "loss." It's the nature of the beast. Intelligent fans instead look at what you actually landed. And YOUR BELOVED ESPN RANKED UF ahead of U this year. Look FOOL, a lot of schools landed a LOT of good recruits in this cycle. Not just Florida. Not just UM. It's what you do with them that really matters. And we've seen for far too long that U are clueless in the leadership/development department. RANDY SHANNON? Okay cane fan. Roll with that guy. Afterall, he did win a "Trailblazer Award" from the Orange Bowl Committee. (cruel joke) In case you haven't noticed, your program is a Coaching CAROUSEL. How many ineffective defensive coordinators have you had in...oh lets say...the LAST FOUR YEARS ! ( U cry,we laugh)

U fan likes to think they are "marching back" because they are young and recruit very well. NEWSFLASH DORKO: UF is YOUNGER, recruits BETTER and are also the NATIONAL CHAMPIONS. It's as though you think no other school is recruiting. It's all about DUH U. ESPN ranked you #11 in this recruiting cycle. The ten teams ranked ahead of U all have more money, BETTER facilites, and BETTER COACHES, all of which ultimately leads to BETTER leadership. Cane fan just can't grasp this. Oh no, it's a U thing. Pay attention to the U. Yawwwwwwwn.

U are just a .500 program now. Maybe a shade above .500 to be fair. It can still be fun. But it will NEVER be the same no matter how much empty rhetoric U throw out. Your last two HC searches were FLAMING DISASTERS. Coker, Shannon. "Nuff said !

If you think you will be lead to the promise land by Jacory Harris, the NORTHWEST BALLAH, you just aren't very smart. Nice kid, GREAT kid, but he can't sniff the jock of the likes of Sanchez, Bradford, Tebow. Sorry kids, He's a nice little QB but that's it. Maybe he'll mature into a 9-10 win QB for you. That would be nice. But if you had a clue you would set your sights on the STINKING ACC TITLE first. You're inability to grasp that is a fatal flaw. Bottom line, nothing develops at UM. Just look at your steadily dropping draft prospects, terrible record, and horrendous breakdowns in units that lead to historical blowouts.

And finally, SHUT UP with the "when Urban goes to ND" NONSENSE ! U guys should get an award for being the most ignorant to facts. FACT IS, Notre Dame came at Urban HARD when he was choosing his last job. He would have gone THEN if it was truly his "dream job." He said dream job tongue in cheek and KNOWS you can't win there. Cane fan will NEVER grasp this and will continually salivate about when "Urban leaves." Keep dreaming fools. He came to the best AD in the country and championships are FLOWING IN. His entire staff and all associated with him speaking GLOWINGLY about him, even the ones who have departed. Coaches across the nation and conference praise him. Yet clueless cane fan is sitting in the corner crying about him lying to a linebacker and kicking a field goal. You guys are complete idiots.

The most POIGNANT FACT about how fall you've fallen was pointed out earlier. Your F'in KICKER was your team MVP. Have you fully digested how sad that is?

I agree, this is too easy.

the onlyh way 'Canes fans could be any dumber or ignorant was if they had graduated from UF.

HOLY SHYT Bull Gator/U are no Kehoe ( my favorite)/Mycanes mind is a terrible thing to waste/ U wills stay forever dumb/dumbazzJamie/ 'Lil Steamer, You've kicked these guys. Not that it's that hard to take batting practice on them. It is nearly impossible though to get him/them to take an objective look at the state of the U.

HIGH FIVE !

Like taking a candy cane from a baby...

I am not sure what this blog is anymore, but a UM football blog it is not.

U right left coast light in the loafer cane...

It's my and Kehoes blog now.

Got Ur tickets for next years Nut Bowl yet ?

the onlyh way 'Canes fans could be any dumber or ignorant was if they had graduated from UF.

It would be Ur first step in the right direction...

It's called Reeeee-aaalllll-ity ... And U can't deal with it.

The most POIGNANT FACT about how fall you've fallen was pointed out earlier. Your F'in KICKER was your team MVP. Have you fully digested how sad that is?

It makes yet another 3 n OUT series so much more exciting when 25 thousand Caneiots chant and scream MVP ! MVP ! MVP ! As their STAR trots out onto the field amid the echos of a 2/3rds. empty Stadium doing what any Euro trash Soccer player could do just as well...

Now THAT is a CANE THANG !

This IS yet another prime example of just how far U have fallen Cane fan...

Sad but trUe

I even spread it out for U so uuuuuuuu caaaaaann cooommmmmpprrrrrhheeenndd

Missed first two games and 3qrt. of FSU and entire SEC Chapionship game last year. Also let some other "PLAYMAKERMAKERS" get some touches when Up by 30+ points just after half ( U remember those days?)... As a result catches were down be a SECND RING in THREE years was had...

OK Cane Fan ... Windbag1 the genius is all Urs again...

Yup... No development at all ...

bitterness. drivel. insecurity. elevated opinion of themselves. All the things that go into being a true Gaytr.

class. respectability. manners. intelligence. grace. Everything a Gaytr fan lacks.

They should shut that institution of fine dining down with the garbage it is turning out. Spurrier realized it. Soon, Turban will too.

Wow, living in the shadow of Miami has had some really nasty side effects on UF fans. I understand though. Florida has never really had any room to talk ish when it comes to UM and football. I can't imagine what it must feel like to play second fiddle to a 2nd tier private school. I can see how UF fans have had a massive amount of pent up anger and frustration that's comes with being a mediocre football team all those years. Do those same fans frequent the Bama blogs to talk as much ish?
Or how about ole miss? Its very hard to think that the last 3 years have been the best years that Florida has ever had since 1906. Yeah guess I would spend a lot of my time on UF blogs if the shoe was on the other foot. One thing is for sure Bitter defines the UF fan base. You will prove my point with yet the same rant and wishful thinking about the state of Miami football.

Posted by: mycanes | April 30, 2009 at 12:14 PM

Any takers yet mycanes that Debose wouldn't start for Duh U ??? Or U'd rather have the two throw ins instead of the real playmaker????

thought so

U need to get together with Windbag1 and figure out just what differences between facts, fiction and dumb opinions are... Between the two of U, U might come up with half a brain... Which would then still only make U a typical Cane fan.

And for God's sake, don't cry all over Ur keyboard...

Serious ? Who leaves first... Randy or Urban.

Tune in Kehoe... This will get good.

Posted by: AtlCane | April 30, 2009 at 12:54 PM

Grow a pair U whiney lil puuuuusy...

Don't worry BuckheadCane, Manny is sure to make this whole thread go poof and away because of the beatdown Ur are incurring... Then U can forget all about it just like U have about Ur 19-19 Soft Cane record the last 3 years and where U are heading...It's called Denial.

Types of Denial

Denial of fact:

This form of denial is where someone avoids a fact by lying. This lying can take the form of an outright falsehood (commission), leaving out certain details in order to tailor a story (omission), or by falsely agreeing to something (assent, also referred to as "yessing" behavior). Someone who is in denial of fact is typically using lies in order to avoid facts that they think may be potentially painful to themselves or others.

Denial of responsibility:

This form of denial involves avoiding personal responsibility by blaming, minimizing or justifying. Blaming is a direct statement shifting culpability and may overlap with denial of fact. Minimizing is an attempt to make the effects or results of an action appear to be less harmful than they may actually be. Justifying is when someone takes a choice and attempts to make that choice look okay due to their perception of what is "right" in a situation. Someone using denial of responsibility is usually attempting to avoid potential harm or pain by shifting attention away from themselves.

Denial of impact:

Denial of impact involves a person's avoiding thinking about or understanding the harms his or her behavior has caused to self or others. Doing this enables that person to avoid feeling a sense of guilt and it can prevent him or her from developing remorse or empathy for others. Denial of impact reduces or eliminates a sense of pain or harm from poor decisions.

Denial of awareness:

This type of denial is best discussed by looking at the concept of state dependent learning[2]. People using this type of denial will avoid pain and harm by stating they were in a different state of awareness (such as alcohol or drug intoxication or on occasion mental health related). This type of denial often overlaps with denial of responsibility.

Denial of cycle:

Many who use this type of denial will say things such as, "it just happened." Denial of cycle is where a person avoids looking at their decisions leading up to an event or does not consider their pattern of decision making and how harmful behavior is repeated. The pain and harm being avoided by this type of denial is more of the effort needed to change the focus from a singular event to looking at preceding events. It can also serve as a way to blame or justify behavior (see above).

Denial of denial:

This can be a difficult concept for many people to identify with in themselves, but is a major barrier to changing hurtful behaviors. Denial of denial involves thoughts, actions and behaviors which bolster confidence that nothing needs to be changed in one's personal behavior. This form of denial typically overlaps with all of the other forms of denial, but involves more self-delusion.

DARVO:

A common strategy of abusers who Deny the Abuse and then attack the victim for attempting to make them accountable for their offence, thereby Reversing Victim and Offender. ""...I have observed that actual abusers threaten, bully and make a nightmare for anyone who holds them accountable or asks them to change their abusive behavior. This attack, intended to chill and terrify, typically includes threats of law suits, overt and covert attacks on the whistle-blower's credicility, and so on..... [T]he offender rapidly creates the impression that the abuser is the wronged one, while the victim or concerned observer is the offender. Figure and ground are completely reversed... The offender is on the offense and the person attempting to hold the offender accountable is put on the defense." [3].

Which one are U Cane Fan ???

Dubose can take his triple-threat skills to UF's gimmicky offense. He might thrive but he will also leave college with those same triple-threat skills (i.e., Percy Harvin), and he will not develop the skills or the weight-training to become an NFL star. Harvin was a star recruit but he never developed while he played at UF - as a matter of fact, I think he was better (more dangerous) player as a freshman.

Recruits need to come to the U if they want to be an NFL star some day

Thank you now I have said it before and I will say it again, recruiting guru Tom Lemming said himself that Ray Ray Armstrong was the "best" football player in America regardless of position. Read it again if U are unclear GaturD fans. Debose is good but he is not even better than Byrd, Benjamin, Aldarium or Ray Ray. So U can keep that garbage WE have one of the best Recieving units in ALL of college football.

And yes although they are some what unproven, after this year you can bet your rent money that this group of recievers will be the real deal.

Well said, Elliott.

FACTS !!! ??? U Have NO CLUE !!! :

Maybe Debose would start. What is your point? A prior post said he was the "gem" because of where rivals and/or scout ranked him. I went to point out that those sights don't always get it right and used several examples. Must have gone over the UF educmucated Gaytr fan's heads.

Again, maybe he would start. What is the point? A lot of factors go into whether he would or not. If he happens to start the first game of UF's season next year, for whatever reason, what will it prove or disprove?

Do Tim Guyblows tears cure bitterness?

Peeeeeeeeeeeeeee Uuuuuuuuuuuuuu

Get on the phone and call someone who knows Elliot.

Debose, as a true Freshman, doubles the catches (60)and yards(600)of Ur top W.R. in 2008.

Mark it down

R.I.P. EDGE it's OVA for U

Where in the world are the REAL Cane Fans that remotely might be in the know?

Hey Art... Guess what's coming ... "Yeah but look at those Averages per catch." "And we now have a 6-8 T.E. !!!"

That's 5 GATORS and just Ur 1 lonely Ray Ray Cane down at #93 ...

Yet another example of how U are Eroding but fail to recognize it ...

***recruiting guru Tom Lemming said himself that Ray Ray Armstrong was the "best" football player in America regardless of position. Read it again if U are unclear GaturD fans***

Huh ?

So what flavor is Ur Foot Elliot ???

U Canes understand the term "proofread" and "comprehend" ?????

Here is another one I'm throwing back to U Real Cane Fan ...

Gonna be a loonnnnnnnnng Summer Kehoe

Great work Don.

You bring fresh perspective to the art of batting practice on ignorant football fans heads. You're much more patient with them as you actually explain WHY they are so clueless .

I love the "Harvin didn't develop" guys. Two words UM honk: First Round.

Why do U constantly talk about all your "studs" at WR and how you are "stacked" at WR. Maybe U should read YOUR receiving stats up side down. It might help.

"I think he (Harvin) was better (more dangerous) player as a freshman"
-elliott
And that is why you are an immense imbecile... elliott

Let's review cane fan:

U have a KICKER for MVP

...Ahhh... fu@% it. You know how bad U are.

Don is your new football overlord. Bow to your sensay...BOW TO YOUR SENSAY !

Do Tim Guyblows tears cure bitterness?

Posted by: AtlCane | April 30, 2009 at 02:13 PM

No ... but his left arm and two legs will produce a 3rd. Championship in 4 years ...

Could any semblance of an education or common sense have helped any of Ur fellow Cane idiotic bloggers?

Certainly not ... They're all Urs .

**********************TRUCE*********************

Sure would be nice to get some more Intelligent comments from the likes of U AtlCane ( yeah, U know what U are talking about), SarasotaCane, OrlandoCane and a few in the minority in the know realist Cane fans that offer informed points of view... But I take it, Ur all to smart to chime in and back up these numnuts and what misinformation they have to offer...

btw- Bitter, yeah a bit, but mostly this is just too fun for the likes of myself and Kehoe to pass up... U know, fish at a cracker barrel sort of thing...

ok- I'm back in Gator Azzzzwhole mode... F Me .

Great shot Don. It easily cleared the wall in center field.

Expect something brilliant in return like GAYTOR or trailerville or their favorite, a half-baked bit about homosexuality.

Don you left out canesrule. Aka Sebastian Dalbis. When they get tired of the name calling and gay bits, they'll start HOLLERING that 5 is more than 3, forever and ever. Sorry cane fan but those numbers are endangered.

Is that a fungo bat you've been using Don? You're clearing the fence very easy.

How many 1st rounders did dah U have this year?

too clever Gaytr boys. Don't hurt yourself patting yourself on the back. So cleverly condescending. Your posts are never contradictory or self-serving. Rating systems are for losers. Debose may pan out; he may not. I cannot be certain about him but what I am certain about is that you do not know either. You KNOW Brantley is so great? Will he turn out to be Mitch Mustain or Sam Bradford? Would you, in your partially-educated UF mind, have KNOWN Bradfor would win the Heisman as a 3-star? Did you predict that?

Your 1000 word post is based on some assumption you cannot now. A real waste of time. But then again, shining shoes under the shadow of your UF diploma gives you a lot of free time.

I read it ... U read it again Mr. Denial...

What math are U using Elliott ?

Talk to me in 2 years and tell me who is the better player. Ray Ray will be the answer DOUCHEBAG

A Sweet black Mizuno fungo given to me by a fine realist Cane and American by the name of Gino Dimare ...

He got out of the fumes and smoke of that dumpster fire that has been burning for the past 3 years just beyond the left-center fence at Mark-Light ...

He's doing great now, growing tomatos and being able to spend more time with his lovely wife and beautiful girls... A True Cane that gets it.

Talk to me in 2 years and tell me who is the better player. Ray Ray will be the answer DOUCHEBAG

Posted by: ELLIOTT | April 30, 2009 at 07:28 PM

Talk to me how Tom Lemming said Ray Ray was the best player in the nation but also how U failed to include what preceded and followed his quote...

U know like, "Some coaches think he might have been the best player."

Or, "By the time he's a senior, he could be the best of the '09 class."

Better yet, "As an Athlete, (meaning he has no real position) he could wind up as ONE the best of the player of the '09 class."

also, " Although he is ranked 93rd. someday" ... etc. etc. etc.

Hear it and convey it how U like Smelliott. FACT is Ur OLB-S tweener is barely a top 100 talent this past recruiting class.

Now spin off into the abyss

Kehoe wants to play the fact game. Ok I'll play.

Fact: In the last 25 years Uf's record against miami is 1-7. ( which means that it took 25 years and 7 games for Uf to beat miami.

You say that uf will win three out of the four and that is somthing that miami will never do. Again that hasn't happened so kehoe that is not a FACT.

fact: miami has a 58 home game winning streak that florida will never sniff.

fact: miami has a record of 6 players taking in the first round. Again somthing the gators won't sniff.

Fact: florida had two h.s players give them the F -U treatment after winning an n.c. ( Greg Ried, nuke)

Fact: it took florida 103 years to win three MNC's.

Fact: miami still has won 2 more then florida

no matter how kehoe tries to spin it the fact his that randy and company went to north florida and took 2 out of three players that miami AND florida were both going after.

When was the last time uf came and took 2 of three players that both teams were going after in dade county? ILL wait for that answer..

Fact: head to head miami leads 28-26

facts, I love this game. NEXT!!!!!!!!

K-puke- for someone so annoying you are a major windbag. You spew out lots of writing, but make no sense. You are the easiest to debate because you are not intelligent. The stuff you throw out is all known, like, " 1 ch. in 17 years" blah balh. But I can counter with... UF has won 3 in 137 years.

You keep using racist inuendos about Randy Shannon. No, no. They ARE racist, be a man, admit it, they are racist. But that's ok. We in Miami undewrstand that the crackers in central florida, like you, are quite intolerant of anything "different"

Picture of ke-puke:

FAT GUY IN A WIFE-BEA-TER T-SHIRT WITH A HOLE IN IT, IN A TRAILOR, WITH A GENERATOR, SAVED UP ALL HIS LIFE TO BUY A NEW DELL, SO HE CAN GO ON UM BLOGS, WHILE EATING CHEETOS.

THERE IS NOTHING YOU HAVE WRITTEN THAT CANNOT BE DISMANTLED IN A DEBATE. NOTHING.

OH, SO UF IS BETTER NOW. OK, YOU WIN.

BUT EVERYTHING ELSE IS RACIST CONJECTURE... THIS AND THAT ABOUT RANDY SHANNON. PLEASE, DUDE, FIND ANOTHER ANGLE, YOU ARE BORING.

BORING./

DULL.

REPETITIOUS

RACIST

ULTRA-STUPID. YOUR ARGUMENTS HOLD NO WATER.

I CAN DISMANTLE ANY ARGUMENT YOU MAY HAVE IN A HEART BEAT.

DISMANTLE THIS ARGUMENT:

UM: 1983, 1987, 1989, 1991, 2001
UF: 1996, 2006, 2008

IF WE FOLLOW YOUR STUPID LOGIC, UM FANS LIVE IN THE PAST. WHAT'S THE PAST?

THE PAST WAS ONE SECOND AGO. GEORGIA TECH HAS MORE NCS THAN YOU.

NEXT FACT: UF HAS OODLES AND OODLES OF MONEY (ACCORDING TO YOU), SO WHY IS IT THAT UF, WITH ITS OODLES AND OODLES OF MONEY HASN'T BEEN ABLE TO MAKE THE NCAA TOURN THE LAST 2 YEARS, AND DESPITE ALL OF THE OODLES AND OODLES OF MONEY, STILL HAS ONLY 5 NCS IN THE 3 MAJOR SPORTS, AND UM, A SMALL PRIVATE UNIVERSITY, WITH A LOT OF DUMB FANS (ACCORDING TO YOU) HAS 9?

FACT: I KNOW MANY GATOR FANS. MOST ARE REASONABLE, SOCIAL PEOPLPE. SOME I LIKE. BUTTHE GARBAGE YOU SPEW HAS MADE UM FANS MORE AND MORE DISGUSTED BY THE 'COMMON UF FAN". I HAD NEVER GOTTEN INTO A FIGHT WITH A UF FAN UNTIL THE 2004 PEACH BOWL (K-PUKE, IS THATSTILL IN THE PAST?) WHEN A DRUNK REDNECK GATOR FAN GOT IN MY FACE. NEEDLESS TO SAY, HE LOST. SO DID CHRIS LEAK.

I HAVE NEVER HEARD SEMINOLE FANS TALK LIKE THIS. NEVER SEEN A UM BLOG WITH SEMINOLE FANS TALKING THIS MUCH TRASH. THIS IS YOUR TYPICAL GATOR REACTION AFTER THEY WIN. THEY ARE SO BATTERED, THEY HAVE SUCH AN INFERIORITY COMPLEX, HAT WHEN THEY WIN, THEY GOOVERBOARD. THIS IS WHAT KE-PUKE IS DOING.

CANE FANS- THIS KE-PUKE SLIME IS NOTWORTH IT. HE IS DUMB, ANTISOCIAL, AND A COWARD HIDING BEHIND A COMPUTER.

lol. I guess he told him.

Buh bye "k-puke" you lose.

douchebag? MOI?

Do they teach you to use that word, and type it in all caps for emphasis, at douchebag school? When you have to use an insulting word, and use caps for emphasis, it reflects the vacuousness of your posts.

Use a dictionary for that, sweetheart. Assuming, of course, you know what one is. After all, you went to UF, or graduated from there, or wish you did.

too clever Gaytr boys. Don't hurt yourself patting yourself on the back. So cleverly condescending. Your posts are never contradictory or self-serving. Rating systems are for losers. That's the whole point !!! Congrats mycanes, Ur learning... It's how U cook the groceries, not buy them (this is where Randy falls woefully short)...

Point is I know for a FACT that Duh U coaches wanted Debose VERY VERY badly !!!

He is an O. Coordinators dream to game plan him getting the rock multiple times in an array of different ways. Where as, Dye, "go get the Q.B." and Ray Ray, "tackle the football and don't get beat deep" is about as much as U can coach'em up.

I will not give my sources, but rest assure Manny knows this as well. What ever the name is of Ur musical chair O.C. that U got now, whould have loved the opportunity to coach this kid up, and make him Ur new featured star the apple of Ur Cane crossed eyes THIS YEAR.

Benjamin U say? Exciting? At times yes, but he's not half the football player Debose is. That comes straight from the mouths of former U coaches that gave U Ur glory years. Manny, and other U bloggers, that have remained smartly silent on this subject, know this is a FACT as well. And as far as a "band striking" playmaker, Benjamin is all U got. Til he gets busted up again.

As it is now, #4 A. Debose is a GATOR and he is their new GEM, Urban's main man and future featured STAR... And That Is A FACT.

Hey Elliot, why wait 2 years. We'll evaluate come mid-season next year... Or do U need more time to get over Ur 2-4 start?

Time for a new blog

no matter how kehoe tries to spin it the fact his that randy and company went to north florida and took 2 out of three players that miami AND florida were both going after.

You'll be waiting forever for that answer. Good question and i'll answer it ZERO. Underrated post imo.

lets talk about football ok Debose is a great talent he proved that against the miami northwestern game, but so did our boy ray ray and, dye kept a stable pass rush when it mattered. i can't and will not knock andre he is the truth, but imagine him come across the middle and U see 6'4 225lb( ray ray) ,and let me know who wins the battle. sean taylor did that many times.i keep hearing this develop word is being vastly thrown around. And how UM should not blame coker, and that randy was on the team in the same tenure. as far as im concerned ,also correct me if im wrong but didn't randy recruit and develop nfl caliber players while coker was there?most of the talent that is in the nfl was on the defensive side.( don't say hester im pretty sure he was recruited as a DB)develop? UM has no doubt run in bad times as of late, but dating back till 2003 UM has put out more DEVELOPED players that is NFL ready than UF.

To all the Canesville Gators that keep posting:

You can post all the nonsense and the Ginormous Melon Head loving remarks you want.

Here's the bottom line for you this year: ANYTHING LESS THAN A NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP WILL BE A HUGE FAILURE FOR YOU, THE GATORS, TEABAG, AND TRAILERVILLE.

Seriously, with THAT schedule and most of your talent back this year (Demps=Harvin), anything less than an NC will be a HUGE disappointment and a CATASTROHIC FAILURE.

So, come next year, come back and crow all you want if you win. Even then, though, you'll still be one behind us and you'll NEVER catch up. In the meatime time though, until the NC game in January 2010, would you mind and STFU.

Thanks

When was the last time uf came and took 2 of three players that both teams were going after in dade county? ILL wait for that answer..

We'll that's kind of a loaded question there pretty boi... Sanford is over 100 miles from G'ville so what do U say we include an area within say, 30-40 miles of Ur rent-a-stadium to be logistically fair... So, I'll try.

Hmmmmmmm but lets see ... How 'bout these 4 so far this year with more to come. And this is just the beginning.

pssssst.... remember Manny warned U... U have been breached.

Just so U know, Dye was a throw in to be red-shirted if all 3 came... RAY RAY saw that 22 deep depth chart and said uhhhhhhh no thanks... And as for the GEM... It was where do I sign to get some rings. Conference and National...

Stay tuned Cane Fan... After another 7-6 year with no contract extension for Randy, many more S. Fla. boys will be heading north, running from U and that program in limbo.

Funny is funny, and I've got to admit that is good stuff ... Here's something else that just might piss U off about our Savior...

Tim Tebow probably thinks that's funny too.

Don't U fret though Cane Fan... If Tebow's head gets too big for his helmet, they'll just cut two holes in an orange Gatorade Igloo cooler, strap it on and send him out there to do what he does best... Use that Melon-head as a Battering Ram.

ok... back to super gator dick mode

CANE FANS- THIS KE-PUKE SLIME IS NOTWORTH IT. HE IS DUMB, ANTISOCIAL, AND A COWARD HIDING BEHIND A COMPUTER.

It's always amusing when a guy sitting behind a computer accuses someone of being a "coward behind a computer." You step in s h i t every single night Jamie.

awww look at little Hialeah Jamie. He offered up his nightly blown gasket CAPS LOCK RAGE piece. Good work Hialeah. Too bad it doesn't make any sense and is rambling. Dude, you let rage get the best of you EVERY SINGLE TIME! CAPS LOCKS are no way to go through life Hialeah Jamie.

These dumb honks are clueless on the how and why of Ray Ray and DD and #4. Truly ! The canes wanted #4 by FAR the most. T. Benjamin?? Big Brown has stronger ankles than that kid. Good luck with that beanpole. I think J. Harris needs to share his extra waffles with Travis.

About this time last year Cane fan was HOLLERING up and down about "our stable of backs with Coop and Porcelain J." They conveniently IGNORED that the offensive line depth chart is REALLY BAD at duh U. Or maybe they just didn't fully understand how bad that bunch is.

Should we talk about UM special teams? U guys probably would prefer to steer clear of that topic and focus on your stable of recievers and stable of backs. You truly don't know what the meaning of "stable" is. With regards to ST's, we'll just keep in mind that your KICKER WAS YOUR F'IN MVP you soft mother F'ers. LMAO.

"K-puke- for someone so annoying you are a major windbag. You spew out lots of writing, but make no sense" Of course I make no sense...to YOU. Your football comprehension doesn't step outside the filthy 305. The same 305 that Forbes listed as the 3rd most dangerous city in the COUNTRY. Crime aside, you just operate in your 305 fantasy land. No wonder you can't make heads or tails of it when I smack U. When your blog is infested with opinions of canesrule, sabastian dalbis, my canes, Hialeah Jamie, Pay attention to the U, and Sarasota Cane, CLEARLY you have some cognitive issues. Do ANY ONE OF YOU understand that NOBODY cares about U outside the 305? ESPNU is the benchmark of irrelevant 2nd tier programs.

The site ate my last post. How come they direct all their rage at me Don? You sit back, dismantle these midgets and they come after me. Hell, I was watching The Office tonight and they were bombing me. Not fair Don. It's also amusing that they are certain that ALL the posts are from me alone. Doing that would be stealing a page from the delusional canesrule's playbook. Not my style.

Dare I say U are staring at 25-25? U reap the harvest of the seeds U sow. And to this point you havn't sown SQUAT. Looks like more of the same for 09 with 2 new coordinators, a terrible defense, a terrible O-line , a clueless head coach, and terrible special teams.

Drought conditions ahead cane fan.

I'll now pass the podium to my respected colleague, Don.

BATTER UP !

Well said Dave.

Great posting name StormDebris! Is that a shot at opponents or a shot at your own team? Given the struggles at UM, I'll assume it's a knock on your own program.

Did UM "pull" his schollie? It depends on how you define pull. They didn't "re-offer" which may be viewed as pulling it. Bryce was done with UM long before that occurred so I think it was more of a de-commit case. Either way, the kid is a punk.

It's insulting when these kids say, "I really haven't decided. I'm just going to look at my options and pray." When a recruit plays the pray card you know he's jacking you around. Brown probably "saw the light" in his 11th hour conversations with Kiffin.

I seriously hope a wave of criticism engulfs this kid so that future recruits will see how you DON'T handle your recruitment.

UT is shaky at QB. This year they have Crompton and Stephens. Neither of those guys would make 3rd string at UF. They didn't recruit a QB in this cycle either. Defenses will cheat against the run when playing UT as those guys don't throw very well. They relied heavily on RB Arian Foster in 08 and he's gone. They are very thin at tailback. It will be fun to watch them pin their hopes on true freshmen Bryce Brown and Nuke.

U go from saying the "kid played us" to " he was the hot girl in the bar we couldn't get" to "how you can't stand what he did" ,also that YOU wish he gets bad publicity on the kid. which one is it? you contradict yourself every time you type i just put a whopping on your so called biased opinion of the word "develop". IM NOT YOUR DADDY NOR DO I WANT TO BE but i just took your lame a## to school. since i state the facts that is my last time replying to you buddy you are a waste of time now. maybe this blog can get back to where it use to be just maybe.

U know Arthur ... There isn't a much better smell known to man than rawhide scorched off a pure Ash bat... smells , , , like

it's damn near 3 am cane fan , , , do U know where Ur program is at ?

Can anyone tell me when the next Florida offensive player will be drafted in the first round?

ANSWER

After Meyer leaves or Tebow turns TE

REASONING

It's an offense full of trick plays.

EXAMPLE

Double Clutch in the Air... 2 years running.

That play is soooooooo awesome. Let's do it again but this time have a lineman tuck Tebow under their jersey and put twinkies in the end zone. Guaranteed Touchdown

Now this is how you start a story ...

http://www.miamiherald.com/sports/baseball/story/1026785.html
