WTF is up with wqam prominatly displaying a UM v. FSU promotion with yellow tape that says 'CRIME SCENE DO NOT ENTER' and images of JH, and Chrisitan Ponder.
Are they that f'ing stupid or what. As I UM alum I find that an offense reference to my school and I wouldn't blame any FSU alum from feeling the same way.

it's because UM, just like FSU is a bunch of no good cheating lying THUGS.
U suckk. They suckk a little bit less. U get pounded.

To the dypshyt who threw this out in the earlier blogpost:
First off I am and will always be a huge Canes fan but 41-10 Miami? Where do some of you "fan"atics get this crap from? Miami's offense was terrible last year and worse then that they had no pulse in 1st half of the FSU game. Some of you are truly drinking the kool-aid. Kind of like a couple of years ago when I really thought they had a chance against Oklahoma. And that was with a Redshirt Freshman QB in Bradford that picked apart the Defense. Last season's 1st big test was the UF game and the Offense couldn't do anything. I know, I know that's because it was all Nix's fault. Unfortunately my lasting memory of this team is Ponder, Dwyer, and Best running all over them and lets not forget total mis-management of TOs and a non-existent 2 minute offense. 41-10? I realize predictions are fun but please stop talking out of your rear ends and just hope for a W tonight.

FSU's defensive line is young; that will offset our offensive line issues. FSU has an inexperienced secondary...uh oh.
Uh...did you just compare FSU to UF and Oklahoma? And that made sense to some of you?
FSU's stud RB is gone...limit Ponder's yardage and their offensive output from last year is practically gone. FSU's D-line whipped us last year, but those guys are gone.
How many points did we put up last year?

First off, yes I did post the following on sun sentinel blog. As I hate typing am copied and pasted it here:
This is to all of you pathetic gator fans. It is so funny to hear you trying to come up with all your funny little names to call UM. I find it hilarious how yet another flavor-of-the-week school takes shots at the canes while they are down. Let me fill you in on a couple of facts: The canes are down as often as the gators are up, which aint often. 4 years on top? Please. Get back when you spend close to 30 years as the standard against which college football domination is measured.Secondly, and even more importantly, if the gators are so great, why are they not playing on Monday Night Football? That the powers-that-be in college football would chose a 7-6 Miami team over the defending national champs it must eat at your very soul.Florida, USC, Oklahoma, Texas, etc... all "better" than Miami, yet when they pick teams to be on the biggest prime time game, once again, they choose The Miami Hurricanes. Ouch! That's gotta hurt. No wonder you gator fans have such an inferiority complex. The canes are still the gold standard against which all other "dynasties" are measured. Enjoy your flavor of the week status, gator fans, while it lasts. Ask Nebraska of the mid 90's how that flavor quickly turns to rotten fish. Regardless of the outcome of tonights game, or even this entire season, guess who the football overlords want to see on Primetime Monday Night Football next year. Hint; it is not the gators. OUCH!!!

If you can't get hype after watching this you ain't a cane. Micheal Irvin half time speech when UM was down 19-3. Watch these boys run through the smoke.
Don't let any man get in the way of you writing your history

The ACC is gawd AWFUL.
Where is that clueless idiot that is always whining about the Already Chumps Conference going 6-4 against the SEC last year?

Here is the dirty little secret that ACC fans don’t want to hear. Unless Miami and Florida State can return to being powers and contending for a BCS National Title on a regular basis then the ACC will continue to be the best basketball conference in the country and football will be a nice fall sport. Like it or not FSU and “The U” are the faces of the conference

What psychedelic drugs is Mark May on?
He just stated that Miami will not get back on top of college football while Urban Meyer can continue coming into Miami’s backyard and recruit the best players. Is this moron insane, stupid, a liar or all 3?
ESPN simply has no code and their people can make any outrageous claim or lie and no one challenges them.

im liking Jacory's confidence but he has to put some more zip on the ball. A couple of those passes have been a little too telegraphed.
Posted by: Russell | September 07, 2009 at 09:13 PM
Jacory is a winner - definately a UM quarterback, Mark Whipple is the shizzzle, the defense needs to show up and injuries have taken a toll obviously - and Shannon on game day is still suspect - GO CANES!!!
Posted by: Frendo | September 07, 2009 at 09:32 PM
Really impressed by Whipple.. great hire... Shannon has had me shaking my head again...
Posted by: Canadian Cane Fan | September 07, 2009 at 09:39 PM
I think Jacory has settled down. The first few drives he was over-throwing his receivers. I think Whipple has a solid game plan in place. If Byrd doesn't have the crack back block, for sure we would have more points on the board. Looking real good so far. GO CANES!!!

Lazaro Gonzalez is heading up the recall Mayor Alvarez (alcaldemd@yahoo.com) Recall Mayor Carlos Alvarez where do i sign on for the recall or the mayor and those whom voted no to lower the tax rate? police and firemen making $7000 monthly from pensions. in 2001 the budget was $2b now its $6b, it tripled, but the population did not. vote them all out....whom will head the recall effort? and he who heads this effort will be our next mayor and/or commisioner....recall recall recall

Love being the underdog. Announcers want to love on Ponder, but sorry, he's playing the Canes today.
48-10!
Posted by: miggs | September 07, 2009 at 09:40 PM
Canes are clueless. Their coaches are so disorganized it isnt even funny. They will lose this game. FSU will dominate the second half. Randy Shannon will continue to look like a deer in headlights and blow all his timeouts within the first 4 minutes.
Posted by: Rawpimple | September 07, 2009 at 09:41 PM
here's hoping UM's pass defense looks better in the second half
Posted by: razorcane | September 07, 2009 at 09:42 PM
best game of week one without a doubt. 2 evenly matched teams playing really good ball. jacory is doing great, i would like him to throw harder. but great job so far GO CANES
