My pick: Miami is still a banged up football team. But Duke is probably in worse shape. Thaddeus Lewis will do his best to keep the Blue Devils' bowl hopes alive. He should have some success against the Canes' secondary. But the Blue Devils don't have enough on defense to slow this Canes offense even with Jacory Harris hurt. UM 41, Duke 24.

Way to go Berry! Jacory's thumb is a lot worse than advertised.
Go 'canes!

It was a slow game today. Turnout was mediocre but I still enjoyed watching my favorite team handle their business in the second half. Can't wait until next year to see what we can do.

Hey Manny, what's up? Smart move with the blog and approving comments before they are published. Now REAL Canes fans everywhere can enjoy reading and commenting on your blog again.
Canes started sluggish once again against Duke. The first half was ugly but the second half was a different story. Fortunately for Hurricane fans, Jacory got hot, Berry ran like a bull and Sharpton came up with the big INT for a pick six.
See U at The Ship (Ray Ja) in Tampa.
GO CANES, BEAT THE BULLS!

So at this point, what constitutes a successful season?
A few criteria from my opinion:
- 2 more wins for the first 10 win season in too long.
- an AP/BCS top 15 finish.
- a top 10 recruiting finish to help build depth.
Do you agree Manny? What else is on your list?

Are you going to publish a report card for Duke game?

We've got to be patient with Jacory Harris.
My patience with Randy Shannon ran out weeks ago.
How much more of this do we have to suffer?

Hello Cane Nation,
I finally watched the Duke-UM game. Here are my observations from the game.
1- We lack a pass rush (Need to mix our blitzes) Lewis had all day to throw.
2-Berry should be our starting RB. "Shannon wants wait until the the opposing D is tired to use him more. HA?
3- Jimmy Graham missed his calling should have played football earlier. He is going to be steal in the NFL next draft. Has a lot of upside.
4-Hankerson is our #1 receiver. He needs to be targeted at least 10 times a game.
5-Finally I like Jacory a lot and he is playing hurt. But he still floats the ball to much and takes way to many chances.
Go Canes. Peace!!!
