Flanagan Falcons: Soon-to-Be 2010 National Champions

Flanagan2 GAINESVILLE -- Congratulations are in order to the Flanagan High baseball team.

Even though they haven't played in a few weeks.

The Falcons, from west Pembroke Pines, won the Class 6A state title on May 22 by beating American 12-3.

Flanagan, ranked 12th in the nation at the time, has won three state titles in the past six seasons.

On Saturday, they were pretty much award the national championship from Baseball America after a team from Spring, Texas, lost in the Lone Star championship game earlier today.
