Only took 10 years for the real University of Miami to pass the University of Coral Gables, imagine how far ahead we'll be in another 10!!

Olsen Pierre palyed well last year but at 265 lbs. was light for the DT position. Now he is 300! Must have really hit the iron. That bulk hopefully will help him.

Hard to think Duke and Tracy won't have something to say about that depth chart in the next 30 days...Go CANES!

On cue Dick has arrived.
Looks like the meds have finally kicked in.
First post babbling on.
Second post one word.
Third post became a FIU fan.
Fourth post he is back to old Dick himself.
Rub those crystal balls together and predict our season.
I need a good laugh.
Haters hate on. It is what you do best.
I can not wait till the season starts.
IT'S GREAT TO BE A MIAMI HURRICANE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

sick and tired of Gator fans on this website. Why is it that you don't see many FSU fans on here trashing the Canes? Oh yeah, they play us every year! And they see the storm that is brewing in South Florida. Gator fan should let a sleeping dog lie. We have a great coaching staff, great recruits coming in, great fans, and a great tradition. The Canes will be back. Not this year. We're still very young. But the 2013 team will make a statement and UM will be relevant once again.
By the way, under Randy Shannon nobody could bench press over 400? Nobody could do 30 reps at 225? And who out there still thinks Randy Shannon got a raw deal? I love Randy Shannon. Great Cane linebacker. Real Cane to the bone. Not a good head coach. The Canes will be much tougher this season and will finish games. Can't wait to get it started!

I like the lineups. I like the players on O. I like the players on D. Now is the time to step up things at LB. heck, I like the bench players on this team, even though U lost some good ones last year.
I don't like the OC. I don't like the DC.

Cool Cat, what is it with you and this coaching staff? This is an improvement over the LB coach from TCU. Go ahead, tell me why you hate them.
Posted by: Canesjunkie | August 02, 2012 at 07:03 PM
UM players should teke notice and Golden should post this on every locker in the gables. This has to be motivation. No question. The U gets disrespect, and hate. Coaches are obviously hating on the U. No matter. They hate, and the U will make them pay.
Posted by: 5>3>2 | August 02, 2012 at 02:19 PM
Wow ... Just Wow ... So now they should post that they stink and teke notice that becaUse they sUck and then use that as motivation hUh ? That's pretty much what ALL the 95 D-1 College Football teams that aren't ranked do as perpetUal Underdogs. It's because of a lack of talent and depth to compete at a high level and it's all they got... Welcome to their clUb Pal. Ur hopeless.

Hey Dick
You put FSU above your beloved Gators.
I really can not wait till the season starts. We get to play 2 of your top 3 state teams.
USF we beat last year. FSU we gave that game away. To many stupid mistakes like Benjamin's punt return.
Then there is your team. Though sometimes I wonder if you even have a team. We get you next year. Man I can not wait.
It is hate and envy and you know it. That little school in Coral Gables has you by the b**ls and you can think of nothing else.
You are here .Your on the Palm Beach Post. We are your life. How can you say we are nothing ? When we are everything to you.
Enjoy your little moment Dick.
The season is less than a month away, and it will be put up, or shut up time.
I believe my Canes will shut you up.
IT'S GREAT TOBE A MIAMI HURRICANE!!!!!!!!!!!

WHERES NOT OUR RIVAL? HES THE ONE WHO SAYS WE SHOULDNT GET INTO INTERNET RIVALRIES WITH GAYTOR FANS YET 75% OF THIS BLOG IS MADE UP OF POSTS FROM FA6 GAYTRS AND WANNABE FIU FANS. LOL. How sad
The U will be fine, Gaytor clicks have fun with your #23 ranking. Surely after you play Furman or Citadel the media will pump you up and give you false hopes like theyve given Tebow false hopes of starting in the NFL. Youll move up to 15 0r 16 until you play LSU or Bamy or soemone real, and then the death march for Muschump will begin BAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAh
FIU fans. UM would beat the University of Havana I mean FIU with their 3rd string tomorrow.

Don't worry about the polls right now. The talent base is slowly improving and Golden's philosophy is getting 'buy-in'. Last year the guys at least FOUGHT during the games instead of not showing up. This year we will see the conditioning begin to show during the fourth quarter. This stuff takes time.

Championship caliber lineup!!!!
GO CANES ALL DAY EVERYDAY!!!!!!!!

SALUTE DA U. LET'S GO 2WORK
Posted by: 305/Hurricane | August 02, 2012 at 10:17 PM
If keyhoe can get the line back to the way it use to be when they were strapping harnesses on and pulling pick up trucks around campus we will be fine. I hope Ryan Williams can put some competition in that position. I thought Pierre would have taken that end position from green but he blew up. I hope he can move. I like Paul to start at that other linebacker spot. I like Rogers out there as well he was a step slow last year but was descent in coverage. It would be interesting to see if duke can get on the field on kick offs and on third downs. Next year there will be major trouble for college football. The coaches can improve on same play calling and in game decisions. It's great to be a Hurricane.
Posted by: Tallycane | August 02, 2012 at 10:18 PM
If you're gonna use my handle at least get it right idiot. That lineup will crush what's in the state of Florida. fswho is losing players left and right. If it's not a player being arrested it's a player who is being booted. How many players will they be able to even dress for their season??? UofFelons is still overrated. That will not change whether they have coach muskrat or not. Usf and ucf are still jokes. The only thing fiwho has going for them is Coach Cristobal. The only reason the Canes are not getting any respect is because we have never been respected. This is nothing new and still we will continue to produce. No more "me first" players, no more players being suspended at the beginning the season, players are actually in shape (weightroom numbers prove that), and most importantly everyone on our schedule will not have jokory harris to help them beat the Canes. Sorry trolls but what you refer to as trash talking is only a mask of the fear you have for what is coming. Next you will come up with some garbage about "sanctions" but guess what, you can't penalize a team over allegations. That's right allegations are not a cause for any kind of a penalty. The U has cooperated more than any other school that has been put on the spot light. Worse case we throw in another bowl ban and that's it. Until something is concrete, there is NOTHING! Sorry facts are facts. Now go and cry to your parents, they're upstairs.
GO CANES!!!!!!

We have 2 solid QB's..I hated to see a skinny JH always playing hurt..Loosing Streeter hurt us the most.
Posted by: MH | August 02, 2012 at 10:37 PM
Nix and others flapping about the virtues of conditioning and strength training " kicking in ". Players these days do not go both ways, nor do they play every snap.
Same applies to baseball where virtually no pitcher goes 9 innings. Starter, long reliever, short reliever, closer. Can you tell me the name and number of wins of the pitcher who holds the record for most wins while completing 9 full innings?
Posted by: cane68 | August 03, 2012 at 07:45 AM
not our rival has a valid point. Previous thread was great, discussion and solid disagreement between fans of the Canes on the basis of the article. Dick missed the thread until it was too late. This one, he has already put his obsessive comments in, so he gets ripped as usual for his stupidity.
Dick, you REALLY think FIU and UCF are better than the Canes? Nah, you just want to stir up trouble and distract from the purpose of this thread. Because you are a troll, a jerk, and an obsessed loser with no other goals in life.
Do we REALLY think FSU is better than UF? Oh yeah. Because we have seen the results on the field.
5 > 3 > 2, don't hate on not our rival for pointing out the truth about Dick.
And Dick, learn to read, and take your garbage to Gator Clause where it belongs.

Things being said about the Canes might be true but with that said they are still head and sholders above anyone else. Gators do not come up to shoe sole high. GO CANES, Just play hard and do not quit.
