Hell yeah.I love this team.

WOW!! what a game. I aged 10 years. Not giving up was the key. There is heart in UM. Great win!

Nice win, let's go Canes!!

Great game Canes. Congratulations!

This team has the Heart of a Lion!

See you at Sun Life for NC State. Let's rock the place.

We have got fine coaching and a young team
with heart. A breakout game for Morris and Mike James.

Something real special is brewing under Coach Golden!

IT'S GREAT TO BE A MIAMI HURRICANE!

Huge win for this team. I still feel that we will have ups and downs with these guys but what a game today. To all the Golden haters, if you cannot see that he is building this club, today is the answer. Not because they won, its how they won. Any fan that has a doubt that Golden does not care about these kids and this program, you don't see a head coach on his knees with his hands around a kids helmet who's foot is turned inside out. Class act. I also know when the downs come, the haters will be right back out calling for everyone to be fired. Coach Golden, I believe in your process and today was a big win! Go Canes

Washington Cane, I could not have said it any better myself. U truley get what it means to be a true Cane.

Oh and Davon Johnson, U my man have truely stepped up for us and percevered through the ups and downs of being held back and because U stayed with us and worked your tail off, it is now paying off for you. We could never have made this happen without your clutch plays.

If anyone caught the FSU game, it may be a long night in Miami Gardens this time around. On the other hand, I can't wait for these kids to get a hold of Notre Dame: Totally overrated jokes. None of their wins this season hold any water.

I was at the game. What a great effort on all parts, coaches, players and fans. Party like hell at the compound. Let's continue to work hard. And one more thang, Chick great work in the 4th.

awesome heart was shown today, to many good things happend across the board to mention, not only the ones we saw directly, but so many the guys in the trenches doing the little things to not only overcome the 17 points we were down, but to overcome the poor officiating. Well done young men, well done...

Why were fans down on the coaching staff in the early games? Because they had a 3 down linemen defense, LBs 5 yards away from the line of scrimmage giving up chunks of yardage, playing zone pass defense with no blitz pressure on the other QB. Remember?

And on offense, in the early games, there were the go-no-where flat passes instead of slant passes downfield and ten yard passes down field at GT. Remember those crappy formations from the lousy coaches??

Well, if the coaches go back to their crappy formations instead of chickillo and DE going across the line to stop the end runs and go back to wasting flat passes or hail mary passes, Miami will go right back to golden's LOSING ways.

The coaches finally realized their lousy formations. They got out the playbooks of Jimmy, Schnell, Butch. And the Canes started running the OLD but WINNING Cane formations. So, what will coaches do the rest of the season?

If you see 3 down defensive linemen, zone pass defense, crap passing formations, the Canes will lose.
If they stick with what won at GT, they might win a few more games. Yes, it really is that simple.
PLUS, the one good thing golden and Kehoe have done is get the Canes in shape. Will they continue that?

And somebody give some credit to Chickillo. He had huge tackles and many of them. DEFENSE wins games, remember the goal line stop of GT in OT?????????????

what a day for Davon Johnson and Dorsett. I still worry about Steven Morris's decision making. He could have easily had several interceptions. He also made some horrible throws to wide open receivers. But he hung in there and his team believes in him. It was nice to see the defense make adjustments after GT had 36. The Canes shut them down for the rest of the game. The thing I liked the most is their conditioning and they never quit in this game. That's what I want to see. Improvement one week at a time.

Morris has trouble with those silly slants that Fisch is calling. Always throws to high or too low. But what I saw after they went up 19-0 is that they stopped running the ball, when they should ahve started pounding. Phillip dorsett nearly single handedly lostthe game with that fumble- That ball would have been put on the 30 yd line of GT first down. Miami goes up at least 22-0. or 22-7. The momentum totally turned righ there and before we knew it UM was down at half time. But he made up fo it with 189 yds receiving.

This team has balance- I see nearly 2000yds rushing 11000 each for Duke and MJ. Morris is really playing smart. The int was a bad bad pass. But he regrouped. I dont want to hear anything from the haters about the D. Miami has had a couple of goal line stands now. Against BC and GT. Seriously- The D needs to get major respect. The triple option is very difficult to control. And GT has some speed and athletes.

Anyone have trouble with the U tough conditioning program now?

So far I've predicted each win. and the KSU loss. NC state bothers me. I had predicted a win. Im still thinking a bout it.

And for all you hater trolls- KSU went to Norman and beat Oklahoma. Like Ive said before- KSU is for real. They are actually underrated and under ranked.

Another thing I noticed is that if we go four WR we can operate in the run and shoot and take advantage of Duke's speed. Again, kudos to Chick and if I was a lassie I would like to be his chick.

Are you serious? Stop being stupid. We have a true freshman playing at every position. Can't wait til Golden and his staff brIng us another ring.

Go over to Canespace and talk that crap. You'll fit in nicely with all the other old grumps. Now you get off my lawn!

Nice win for a very young Canes team. Coach Golden: Your plan is working. While we certainly want to keep things in perspective, after all (defense still needs allot of work - GT was unranked; but a solid team) it's just one win. Not sure how many games the team will win this year; but yesterday's performance was encouraging. As these young players continue to grow through professional, performance oriented, off season conditioning and nutrition....they're only going to get bigger, stronger, and faster. I believe the missing part from the this team that been so ever present over the last few years was heart. Stone cold, never quit, intestinal fortitude. Looks like they may be starting to get it. Folks will use the analogy of the K-State blow-out to dampen our enthusiasm. Why? Anyone see that team in action against Oklahoma last night? They're pretty good....

Go Canes!!!!!

It's nice having a sports psyco as our coach, huh? Reminds me of Jimmy.

People simply do not realize the mess Golden inherited. Kind of like Obama. But let's not get political. Just making a point. ;-)

go canesssssssssss if they can find a qb after morris is gone then this class will be special come 2013 and 2014

Watching that video, how can you NOT love Mike James.
The first real leader this team has had in 6 years.
This is a SPECIAL person, not just a special football player.

We are blessed.
Now lets hope he keeps these guys at this level against NC St, your typical "trap" game. We CAN'T look forward to Notre Dame.

CANES!!!!!!

360 Cane, Obama did not inherit nearly the mess he's put us in. Just see what he does when doesn't have to worry about being re-elected. Then you'll see the REAL Obama!

Canesfan 72,

You're an idiot. That is all...

Physics blah, blah, blah.

@Randolph - you are obviously not paying attention. I said not to get political. But remember, Obama wasn't in office until 2009.

2008 was the year we also matched the Great Depression: http://www.bloomberg.com/apps/news?pid=newsarchive&sid=aNivTjr852TI

I'm done because people want to believe what they want to believe even though the evidence is right in front of them...
