Quick injury update from Tuesday's press conference:
Coach Al Golden said linebacker Denzel Perryman, who was seen at practice in a yellow noncontact jersey and with a boot on his injured right ankle, will likely need another day before its determined whether or not he will play against Virginia Saturday afternoon.
Safety Deon Bush, who was wearing a red injured player jersey at Tuesday's practice, is doubtful for the game according to Golden. Bush has been battling stingers on his shoulders.

Wouldn't be a bad idea to sit them both for this game. I know we need them, but no need to do anything foolish. UVA,S.FLA,and Duke we will b ok. We got to have all hands on deck for FSU. GO CANES!!!!!

Dude Virginia is an AWAY game. They beat up on NCS a team we had a hard time beating at home. It's not a cake walk game. They need all hands on deck this Saturday for a tough road game... Don't post if you dont know jack about college football...

We beat VTech for the 1st time in years... at our house.
UVa stole 1 last year, and beat us in our final game at the Old Lady.
We have some unfinished business we need to take care of and to make a statement..
Our team will be fired up...They know this is the game of the year, and Coach G is telling them we need to finish strong..
For us this is the 4 th quarter with 3 minutes to go for the whole game...INTENSITY...Pressure them and WIN.
We will do it and TCOB...
Go 'Canes Always

they just need to play a complete game on both sides of the ball...the rotation on defense is still high with so many players still getting so many reps...I mean this was porters first game of the year and we have three games left and it was kirbys third game and he looks pretty good .....very fundamentally sound....we have the players we just got to be patient..I am still excited.... really want to get to 8-4..that would be nice..rather get the bowl ban over and done with even if we have a chance to get to the ACC championship game....just want to keep seeing improvement improvement improvement...we haven't seen a complete game yet hope this is the week....I expect Deon and DP to play even if its on a limited basis...Canes 4 life

This is no CAKEWALK!
Dont let this be a set-up game thinking your going to roll over UVA, They did beat us last year and their Coach knows Al Golden pretty well.
Im waiting for Canesfan'72 to tell us how to win the game with 4 down linemen lol, that guy never fails to post the same thing over and over

They beat us because our QB threw 4 pics and fumbled the ball in the red zone....we gave them that game. NCState basically did the same with all the turnovers.

We will destroy UVA with our second team cause it's a cane thing and we are the canes. They got no chance.

8-4 is very possible. Go to the conference championship game, it will be good exposure for the school, the coaches, and the players. It will give the Coaches I believe up to 15 additonal practices with the team, which improve off season condtioning and development. up to a bowl game if Miami admin dont vote against going to the chamionship game and conceding it to the team they just beat, Virginia Tech.
