Love to hear that Eddie Johnson is back on the team. He plays hungry and that's the kinda of player we need out there. I hope he paid for whatever he did through his punishment and has his head on straight. Team first, period. When I think of him, that GT stop on the goal line comes to mind. What a great play that was.
I do like some of the moves that are occurring now with moving Dye an Perry to DL and O'Donnell to TE.
THE ACC IS OURS FOR THE TAKING. 2013 BEBE!!!!!!

Also, don't forget during that time span:
2000 - Canes destroy Gators in the Sugar Bowl.
2002 - Canes destroy Gators at the Swamp 41-16.
2003 - Canes beat Gators after epic choke job.
2004 - Canes destroy Gators in Peach Bowl.

we won the o4 orange bowl vs tallyho also. Soldy dont b jealous. This team is way too loaded to have a down year. Are we predicting NT this year , no, but its possible. vegas has the U 25-1 to play in that game well ahead of UF and FSU, we return the best offense in college football, the this summer adding the top rb in Tenn and top rb in NY to back up Duke, besides the Juco #1 TE and espn 150 TE on campus, Derrick Griffin the #2 Wr/Hb in the country and #1 WR in FL Coley are being addded. Offense might be the best offense miami has EVER HAD. FACT. Morris already beat Kosars #'s last yr, and now he has Weapons all over the field and #1 JUCO TE to throw to and the top o line in College.
Defense if healthy is a good defense. gallo, canetrash, soldy, and other bashers(calvin) go by #s. but playing freshman and 3rd stringers wont happen this year. Having 8-10 Deep now at DT with all having experience and not freshman, plus the #12 Juco DT coming in, DEEP LB DEPTH WITH Johnson, Kirby, perryman,Gaines, and the list goes on, and possibly the best DB's with Howard and Bush, Gunther, Burns and Carter, and the list goes on. Theres no drop off now when we put the backups in.
My prediction is the 2014 season we will be as deep as Alabama, but the canes have a shot at winning every games this year and thats all U can ask for.....

Come out all ye can clucks
Come out and get your baseless predictions in
It's time for the Spring game
Best time to be a cane
Boldly proclaim that you are back
Predict championships and bowl victories
Claim the elusive and mythical ACC title
Say you are better and deeper than Alabama
Claim the ACC as the top conference
Don't be shy can cluck
It's only Spring
You won't be held accountable for your delusions until the Fall
By that time all your stupid predictions will be forgotten
AHHHH the Spring.........

Well, last mo when it came out Mia was ahead of UF and FSU.......Its gone up. My point is they are including miami in the top 10 for making it to the title game....... U gator n nole fans r in for a long rebuilding season, and our entire team is back plus the new offensive weapons........
Posted by: Dom | March 01, 2013 at 01:24 PM
Its obvious your scared sheetless of miami. We won the gators and the noles in head to head even with the sanctions, and FSU is our little brother that we always beat up. Oooh, U got us while golden was rebuilding, the gators dropped us because they were sick of getting an extra loss every year...
There is a reason Miami is on all those vegas sites, and u n gallo and all losers come on here and bash this team that has the best offense in college football, best weapons in college football, and a much improved D comin soon
go chomp at your 6-6 season in Gainesville hickville from your trailer and make sure your antennas get the game when the canes win 35-7 in Sept, and then come to tallytrailerville and spank the noles on the way to the acc champ...

Good deed that Golden allowed Johnson back. I hate to admit but we need him. I wanna see Eddie JOhnson, Ralpheal Kirby, Denzel Perryman all on the field together. Secondary it's up for grabs now. But we need a group of guys that will all come in and play all 4 quarters everygame. Artie Burns should be playing cornerback instead of Safety. Artie and Tracy Howard at the sametime with Deon Bush & Rashawn Jenkins It's going to be sweet. Then you can bring in Jamal Carter off the bench and keep it going. For all Hurricanes fans sakes please do not allow AJ Highsmith & Kacy Rodgers play this year. Allow them to sit on the bench or signal plays to the defense.

Yo Cane Trash
Yo not our rival maggot blog police wannabe
Why U keep accusing me of being Gallo and such other good bloggers here?
Can't U fool tell we all got different style and originality
I've told U dUmmies before, it's so darn easy to make fun of U clUcks
I'm not the only one
Yo the bit about dropping the coke in the African desert is very funny indeed
Why can't U doUches appreciate all the good humor and witty prose being dUmped on U?
Yo dom the dUmb clUck claims that the sorry canes "have the best offense in college football, best weapons in college football,"
I would take TAM, Bama, Oregon and a whole bunch of other offenses over the canes.
Now U do have a good offense, U need it since U aint got no defense and no special teams.
This same offense of Urs was shut down last year by every single good team U played. The very same one U got now. Maybe a little worse since U lost James the starting RB and Duke alone will not be able to handle it.
Yo step up to my Golden Retriever Challenge and predict the minimum number of wins that is acceptable.
I am being conservative calling for 8 wins
Call a dog a dog if he doesn't fetch U at least 8 wins
U know I will.
Yo clucks get ready for the Spring game
Can Ur offense put up north of 50 on Donofrio and #117???
Bunch of pathetic LOOSERS!!

"Its a Cane thing haters,,, You wouldn't understand"
You can't erase the National Championships,
the yearly inductions of alumni in the Hall of Fame,
the Super Bowl Championships of alumni.
And best of all, when the Gators ran the other way, flipped upside down and said "no Mas!!!!No Mas!!!"
You didn't know Gators are scared of Ibises?

UM FANS: Why do you bother arguing back and forth with some HILLBILLIES from Tally and GaysVille?
Remember, these are the lowest of the low when it comes to "class sports fans" - they are mostly made up of trailor park trash, WalMart Super Store specials, KKK attending, cross-burning, cousin-sister-mother dating, Deliverance-type, green-toothed, Yahoo, rebel flag waving, brown stripes on their underwear-wearing human waste.
They all talk and talk and talk...half of them are drunk because that's all there is to do in Southern Georgia (Tally and GaysVille are NOT Florida), their college teams are the ONLY SHOW IN TOWN, so they get all "hard" on game days, beat their wives if the college team loses, and then take them to WalMart to make up after their "drunk" goes away.
You Semon-hole and GayTurd pukes - THIS IS MIAMI COUNTRY! Get outta here before I find out where you live and show you how it's done here in MY-ami!!
GO CANES!

golden is destroying this team....Eddie Johnson should transfer as much as I would hate to see him leave....he doesn't deserve this embarrassment especially from a mediocre coach that still has not have a winning record....
his parents need to intervene now....have his high school coach makes some calls....all the good players don't get along with al golden....

CANES FANS
I HAVENT BEEN THIS EXCITED ABOUT CANES FOOTBALL SINCE COKER YEAR 1.
WE ARE LOADED. THE TEAM OFFENSE GOT STRONGER OVER 2012 AND THE DEFENSE GOT BETTER EVEN THOUGH WE LOST SOME STARTERS AND PLAYED 70% FRESHMEN.
NOW WE COME BACK MORE EXPERIENCED, BIGGER, STRONGER AND BROUGHT IN SOME EXPERIENCE JOUCO STUDS TO MAKE US ALL THE MORE SOLID.
GOLDEN FIRED THE BAD EGGS LIKE RAYRAY, FINNIE, AND OTHERS. BECAUSE HES THE GENERAL WITH A WAR PLAN. IF YOU CAN BE A GOOD SOLDIER AND BE DISCIPLINED THEN U AINT HELPING US WIN THE NC.
2013: WE BEAT UF AND FSU. WE WIN THE ACC. BOWL BOUND.

Nobody even knows why he's still suspended and there was no reason released for his suspension last year other than he needed to grow up and do the things that were expected of him. You need to rewrite your list because some of those guys are responsible for them not being on the team. You have a guy who got attested for rape and kicked off the team as a Golden casualty? Come on man. This is real life guys, ACTIONS have CONSEQUENCES, even if you're one of the good players.

I don't much weight into unsubstantiated rumors like he challenged Michael Barrow to fight during an argument. If you have the reason for his suspension, please include the link to the article.

Man, never worry about these cry babies in here, they can either talk football or keep riding our sacs, i could careless, it's not like me and gallo are making up what we've been saying about goldie and his crew. Bottom line, start playing defense and winning games like we should and are use to and earn his right to be the headcoach at UM, than we'll support him, right now, he's an outsider trying to find his way, until than, he's going to get blasted for being in a shoot-out with duke.
52 points and you still barely hanging on in the 4th quarter. The sooner we get rid of the 2 "cherish to love" NON-defensive coaches the better off we'll be!

I could careless about who eddie johnson is challenging to a fight, be it coach or teammates, that's a guy i want on my team if he's doing that. ej44 is a guy jimmy johnson would luv to death, cause he'd know exactly how to channel that mans energy in the right direction, which makes me think, what the hell does goldie have a psychology degree for if all he's going to do is keep kicking people off the team!
I'll take 10 more eddie johnson's on defense, that man's a fighter, he belongs on defense! Also, no time to kick eddie johnson off the team, what the hell goldie cried out to alumni for if he's not going to use them. let irvin, ray lewis, darrin smith and a host of older Canes holla at eddie johnson first, that's the only committe that needs to be formed, that'll help keep alot of these players focused. To kick eddie johnson off of the team now would show imaturity on coach goldie's part by not using the full access to the resources around him!

sorry Jim.....Jeffery brown is on list....yes his dismissal was absolutely justified...all the others no...

THIS TEAM IS LOADED AN IN PRIME POSITION TO WIN THIS YEAR, NO MORE EXCUSES AND NO LESS THAN 10 WINS!! MY ONLY WORRY IS THAT THE DEFENSE STILL HAS THE TWO STOOGES(DUNNO & FRANKLIN) LEADING THE DEFENSE. IF THEY CAN IMPROVE THEIR COACHING AND GET THESE PLAYERS FLYING ALL OVER THE FIELD, CREATING TURNOVERS,AND GETTING QB SACKS THAN YES THIS TEAM CAN GO 12-0 !!! THERE IS ENOUGH DEPTH TO SUSTAIN INJURIES DURING THE YEAR(EXCEPT DUKE & MORRIS) BUT AS I SAID THE ONLY CONCERN IS DL COACH(FRANKLIN) THE DEFENSE HAS TO DOMINATE UP FRONT AND PRODUCE SACKS, THEY CANNOT REPEAT A 13 SACK PERFORMANCE.THAT NEEDS TO IMPROVE BY 30 MORE. MY MAIN CONCERN IS COACH DUNNO ? HE IS IN CHARGE AND HE SHOULD HAVE A PLAN IN PLACE TO GET THE MAXIMUM TALENT OUT OF ALL HIS PLAYERS REGARDLESS OF BEING YOUNG AND INEXPERIENCED. HE DOES NOT HAVE THAT EXCUSE THIS YEAR! IF HE IS THE MAN FOR THIS JOB THAN CERTAIN TEAMS SHOULD NOT SCORE NO MORE THAN A TOUCHDOWN! (FAU,SAVANNAH ST,SF) IT CAN BE DONE IF HE STOPS THIS PREVENT SH..? AND PLAY MORE AGGRESSIVE ALL OVER, BLITZ MORE AND DEMAND TIGHT COVERAGE FROM THE SECONDARY!! IF ALL THIS IS DONE THAN WE WILL WIN 10-12 GAMES IT IS THERE FOR THE TAKING!! GO CANES 2013 ACC CHAMPS

Calvin you would never make a good coach or even be a responsible adult if you didn't hold "good" players accountable for their actions. If you have two sets of rules, you'll create the atmosphere that Jordan Futch said Shannon created in the locker room by playing favorites.

The Florida Today --today repored that 8 players will be held out of spring practice. Among them is starting linebacker Eddie Jonson who is suspended indefinitely.
what is up with the eight players.
