Highlights of Al Golden's preseason news conference Thursday from @flasportsbuzz

Barry Jackson's notes from Al Golden's presser today. Go to his Florida Sports Buzz column for news on other teams, as well.

Highlights from Al Golden’s Thursday news conference:

### Golden wishes he would have known NCAA sanctions before camp starts Saturday, but that’s not going to happen. But “we’re not going to let this disrupt our third consecutive training camp…. We’ve been to hell and back the last two years.”

Though some parties have been told the NCAA is targeting late next week to reveal sanctions, the NCAA has cautioned that it’s not definite and could stretch a couple weeks beyond that. Nobody at UM would be surprised if this goes deep into August.

### Golden said running back Eduardo Clements (neck) will be medically cleared.

### He said incoming defensive linemen Julio Derosier and Ufomba Kamalu are expected “to be here by Saturday.” Of the signees, only Devante Bond, Rhyheem Locksley and Derrick Griffin haven’t been cleared academically. Locksley and Griffin are going to prep school, as previously announced. Bond could be headed there, too.

### Golden, on his mindset heading into the season: “I don’t know if I’m any more confident. I’m just being me. I’m a football coach, I’m not a litigator, a researcher, a defender. I had 15 different jobs the last two years. It’s been so long since we’ve been able to talk about anything but that four letter word [NCAA].’”

He mentioned Virginia Tech’s long run of success and said: “If we want this conference to be what it wants to be, Miami has to do its job.”

### Golden’s nephew Greg is a walk on receiver: “It’s a lifelong dream for him. He’s mature enough to understand I’m the coach. He’s in a good shape. I’m excited he’s here.”

### He said having difficult choices about playing time at some positions such a receiver “is a good problem. I don’t know who the starters are there, or who are the six or seven that are going to travel. I’m as anxious as you guys to see where they’re at…. We’re going to have a good rotation at every spot.”

### Players who didn’t adhere to team rules have been purged. “We have the right guys on the train. We have a team that’s focused. This is a very mature team right now.”

### He said he feels very good about eight offensive linemen and would like to identify a ninth and 10th. “I don’t know who the starting five is and that’s a good thing. I know there are at least six guys going to bed tonight thinking they’re the starter.”

### Most of the front seven has put on considerable weight, which was an offseason priority. Anthony Chickillo has gone from 260 to 275.

“Chickillo grew up on the field [and] his lack of weight and strength was evident. Now he’s going to hopefully harness all that experience and be where he [needs to be] physically.” Jelani Hamilton has gone from 258 to 285.

### He likes how tight end Beau Sandland has developed.

### He said Duke Johnson has an “elite stiff arm and protection of the football. He has to take the next step and be able to handle a little bit more. We’ve got to get his touches up a little bit more. He’s got more muscle. His body composition is better. He’s stronger.”

Fortunately, he’s not taking Duke Johnson off returns to try to conserve energy.  “For us to say we’re not going to have Randy return kicks, then he’s not Randy Johnson.”

### He said Jimmy Gaines is ahead of Raphael Kirby at middle linebacker. “If I wanted to show a kid what a middle linebacker should look like, I would go to our web site, hit [a link], and listen to Jimmy” explain “what a linebacker does pre-snap.”

### He said receiver Allen Hurns “has been a tremendous leader for us. Really proud to have him on our team. He deserves a measure of good health.”

### Will Ray Lewis be around the program more now that his son is here? “I don’t know. We haven’t had that dialogue.”

### He said one reason he came to UM is “I believed there would less Achilles’ heels here, less chinks in the armor in recruiting.”

it means that it is tough to recruit at a small school like temple when you have penn state and Rutgers takingaway all the good philly area athletes. It means that recruits WANT to come to Miami and UM doesnt have to beg to get recruits. You look at many or most of the kids whoended up elsewhere (Alex Collins, Sony Michel )- they all have said at onepoint or another "I grew up a cane fan"

UM has the most recognizable brand in college football. Despite Alabama and the SEC winning the last 7. People like to hate the U and they love the U. The U is huge in the northeast. And now they are on their way back- with a well-spoken, intelligent coach who has so far stuck with this program out of love and passion.

So despite ignaant haters like Calvin, who blabbaers incessantly about crap that only he knows what it means, the U fans are optiomistic and we will support this team, in this new season. The time is over to criticize coaches who have coached this team only 2 seasons! Now its time to support this team go to games, and sit back and watch it all unfold.

Notre Dame last year started the season unranked.

I thought coach goldie was a psych major!

golden's response on the defense:

"I think the biggest thing was to not change
//////////////////////////////////////

Insanity: doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.

albert einstein
//////////////////////////////////////

From one al to another! (one of them needs to figure out who has the right psyche!)

cav, I know who you are, rofl, way to expose em!

Calvin is so ignorant, he doesn't understand how to teach players. If Gaines' pre-snap is great you use him as an example of that. Doesn't mean anything about his other play.

Calvin knows so much football he knows what is going to happen this fall. Why isn't (s)he coaching? Why doesn't (s)he scrap together a couple bucks and bet on the outcomes now for big $?

Wow! Just because I spoke the "word" that us Gators think about those chestnut players we've been forced to play football with people are saying bad things about me. During my years as a Gator we always talked that way and due to our color me and my teammates knew we were superior to those with the deep suntans. I really miss my days with the Gators and those cross burnings.

PS: Aaron Hernandez is innocent!

why do the UM reporters only copy and paste articles. no need to have the same article in 2 places, just link to barry's page and stop wasting everyone's time

Ignorance is running rampant on this blog (Gallo and Calvin ) you cant even have an intelligent football conversation on here without one of them spewing their incoherent BS . I want to talk football not go out of my way to berate a coach that knows ten times more about football than I do . If you guys are such experts then get a coaching job . Go Canes

whats BS.....the stats are the stats, players have said openly that golden made decision to self sanction, he said he was left with no one which I have posted many times the opposite.....you are the one that is all BS....

you don't talk real football, just kool aid.....as a fan I have the right to question the coach....I don't like him. I think he is not experience enough for a program like UM....if ohio state can get meyer...UM can get better.....

nobody wants to hear excuses....in my work there are none.....you got to perform from day one....a coach is no different.....until the stats show at this point "vast" improvement since UM is going on its 3rd year, golden/dnofrio will feel the heat....

last year golden and only golden created a mess......NCAA inverstigation had NOTHING to do with the day to day responsibilities.....who cares what they were doing behind closed doors....that should have no influence on results.....

too f..king bad if you cant deal with it....

^^^^^^^

Gallo, you suck. Go kill yourself. Deal with that.

the talent and players was always here at UM...shannon left tremendous players for golden......golden got rid of all the good players because they could adopt word for word to his 300 page binder that he used to get the job that he pinched himself after he got it.

who gets a rise to over 2 million after year 1? what defensive coordinator puts his hat in a temple HC position after just one year at UM.....wheres the commitment?

what about jedd fisch? he was BS also.....he didn't have to take that NFL job...he was already in the NFL before he took the UM job...he knew what the score was at UM......a bunch of users and golden is no different...

lets see what happens with florida/fsu/NC and pitt....

if golden loses to those 3 he should be fired.....with this 2013 roster (size) NO EXCUSES

This isn't about loyalty, it's about opportunity and money.

Between UF, FSU, and V-Tech, we have to go 2-1

" On another note: UF fans aren't the only ones who are racist. Some Cane fans are as well. "

!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Exactly. Matter of FACT, that canespace venue has more than THIRTY-FIVE PERCENT, in-the-closet racists!! hUh

Heck, I was CHIT-CANNED from that canespace forum, for CALLING OUT a few of those Cane good ol' boys. Eh. What say.

Correction!!!

%%%%%%%%%%%%

I am full of BS.....after all my lies the stats are the stats, players have said openly that golden did not make the decision to self sanction, he said he wanted to play the ACC Championship game and Bowl games, but realized not doing so was in the best interest of the program.....I am the one that is all BS....

I don't talk real football, just kool aid.....as a psychopath I have the right to question the coach and why my mommy won't sleep with me....I don't like my mommy. I think she is not experienced enough for a sick boy like me....ohio state has that lyin' cheat meyer...UM has the great Al Golden a man of integrity and football knowledge.....

nobody wants to hear excuses....in my work there are none, which is true of other unemployed dirtbags.....you got to lie, cheat and steal from day one....a coach is much different.....the stats show at this point "vast" improvement since UM is going on its 3rd year, golden/dnofrio will be offered pay raises....

last year golden and only golden created solutions to a program that Randy Shannon and the NCAA left in shambles......the NCAA inverstigation had EVERYTHING to do with the day to day responsibilities..... once it is settled that will be a hugely positive influence on results.....

It is too f..king bad that I cant deal with it....

the talent and players was always here at UM...shannon left tremendous players for golden......golden got rid of all the good players because they could adopt word for word to his 300 page binder that he used to get the job that he pinched himself after he got it.

ROFL, the Truth and nothing but the Truth!

No, Miami coaches, players and fans don't believe that the chestnut people should be third class citizens...only us Gators. That is why I refused to sign with Miami 'cause I knew they would act like those folks were on the same level as me. They also pulled their offer when I asked how many times a week we would do cross burnings. Conversely, when I asked that question of the Gators they gave me a schedule and a diagram as how to build the crosses.

After reading your posts I know you are one of us and believe.

PS: Free Aaron Hernandez!!!

Sorry...my note above was addressed to my Gator brother "D"

A good coach can steal area recruits from Rutgers, he just would have to prove his prowess to make good players--great players. Schiano was a better coach, thats why Golden and No'D couldn't compete. Miami competes with UF, FSU, LSU, OSU etc annually. Brian Kelly did well in that area while at Cincy. Tressel did too.

He has stuck with this program for opportunity and money. If he was so loyal and passionate, then why does he continually bring up the "distractions" as if we should stay on egg shells about his tolerance of this fiasco. If its such a fiasco then why does he continue to reference it and remind his bosses of the stress it causes him? Results will extinguish all issues.

We keep criticizing the coaching because of what we see or don't see on game day, plus the fact that when questioned about results, the coaches continually bring up the players. Coaches have elicited this response from fans. they're getting paid thousands/millions, so they're culpable as well.

Notre Dame is the wrong example to use in this instance. I went to the ND vs. UM game in Chicago and witnessed with ND fans surrounding me--how much smaller ND's team was overall compared to ours. After their starting 22 on both sides--they looked like a high school JV squad. ND proceeded to use the same 4 plays as they went and down the field on us all 2nd half. No adjustments on offense or defense. The ND fan section I was in, kept asking about our coaching and lack of adjustments--it was embarrassing.

What Brian Kelly did with that ND team from last season is a testament to and example of what an intelligent coach can do with what he has. He maximize the talent and abilities of that team. Like he consistently did at Cincy. That ND team was not super talented from top to bottom. Hence the Championship game where they faced a team that was physically AND intellectually (coaching) superior.

U say Golden is intelligent? Prove it outside of appearances and his speech (which u referenced lol).

How has his coaching and results proven your statements? Who has Golden and his staff out coached scheme (X's ad O's) wise. How long does it take to witness a new coach do this to another coach or team? If the coach is intelligent--it doesn't take any time to witness it...even if the team doesn't win the game.

Golden has always demanded that he be judged once his team matures lol! Thats a fact. And what does it mean? That we shouldn't expect to see results until the kids get older??? What about Texas A&M's new coach and his results based on scheme and with young players--in the dominant SEC???

U guys have been hoodwinked once again, but U love it.

Notre Dame last year started the season unranked.

HOWEVER, the Celts had a very staunch defensive unit returning for the 2012 season.

Matter of fact, the Irish team defense was ranked NO. 30 at the conclusion of the 2012 campaign. In STARK CONTRAST to Miami's 2012 D-unit.

And the Hurricanes be ranked NO. 117 entering the 2013 season, and AIN'T NO WAY the Hurricanes DRAMATICALLY IMPROVE from #117 to say No.60!!

Therefore PLEASE CEASE with this national championship contender talk and what not.

Because defense WINS CHAMPIONSHIPS, and Marky Mark is still with the Canes. Eh. What say.

Hey man camps starts tomorrow, enough with the back and forth, can we just talk football.

Let me begin:

the Defense has to get better, 116 is not acceptable. I think a healthy Curtis Porter will be key, and if Fig is as good as advertised we be pretty strong at both OLB spots with Perryman for sure bringing the wood. I'm still iffy about our DB's minus Deon Bush, but with a year under their belt I expect improvement.

Coach D's in game adjustments still worry me.

A win against UF will speak volumes about the direction Golden has this program going, because he says the right things but at the end of teh day he needs a signature win

TYPO blunders and what not.

Notre Dame finished the " 2011 season " with a RANKED NO. 30 overall team defense, and that's ONE REASON why the Celts had a championship contender campaign in 2012.

So do the simple math inferences, y'all Cane brUtes.

This D guy says he posts on Canespace. I doubt it.
This Gallo guy says he knows Golden self-imposed on his own because a player said so. I doubt it.
Cliff Clavin says that Albert Einstein's quote has anything to do with Golden's PARTIAL comment about how stability is a good thing as players improve, as if Einstein would want to be around UNSTABLE situations. I doubt it.

Einstein left Europe to avoid instability, and Einstein knew that you want to avoid unstable molecules, they tend to blow up at the wrong times.

Gallo CLAIMS that he hates Golden, but I see by his actions here that he hates everything about the Miami Hurricanes, and just loves the Florida Gators.

D CLAIMS that he hates Golden, but I see by his actions here that he hates everything about the Miami Hurricanes, and just loves the Florida Gators.

Clavin CLAIMS that he hates Golden, but I see by his actions here that he hates everything about the Miami Hurricanes, and just loves the Florida Gators.

Not sure which is worse, three folks obsessed with hating on Miami, or one guy using three personailites to do the same thing. Either way, it is a sad life they have.

Bloody VOILA

A neutral college football fan sitting next to moi, at the sports bar, bloody MENTIONED the same notion as the notion above.

W-H-Y didn't Marky Mark make no adjustments!! Eh. What say.

The problem I have with Golden is that he needs to take ownership of the shortcomings of this team and address them. Instead of saying that the most important thing was not to make any changes and let the players grow he should have said something like this:
Our defensive performance last year was totally unacceptable. That is not University of Miami football. I will make any changes necessary and do whatever it takes to make sure we field a strong defense as the tradition of this great institution demands. I will do what needs to be done with players, coaches, schemes or whatever else it takes to get a solid defense that will allow us to compete with the best teams in the land.

I didn't hear anything remotely similar to that.
The detached, wait and see, NCAA BS routine is getting tired.

This D guy says he posts on Canespace. I doubt it.

Here goes Cane LOUT taking matters out of context, again. Or, spreading FALSIFICATIONS, again!

So, S-C-A-N moi's post. I SAID I WAS " chit-canned " for CALLING OUT Cane MINIONS in the canespace!!!

Now, get back to YOUR buddy Soup and the rest of the LOUTS at the canespace!!

They say it's all about the defense and what not.

And after checking some overall team defensive stats from the past five seasons.

http://www.cfbstats.com/2012/leader/national/team/defense/split01/category10/sort01.html

Absolutely NO B.C.S. school with a defense ranked as PUTRIDLY low as Miami's (#117), came back the following season and won their conference!! Let alone contend for a N.C.

So enjoy that 8-4/9-3 winning season in 2013, and CEASE with all that N.C. contender talk and what not. hUh

When somebody starts reaching to try and prove me wrong and the best thing they can come up with is to try and twist what I said about driskel,

Posted by cAlvin
/////////////////

Didn't twist your words at all.. you're words copied and pasted exactly as you wrote them. You're always contradicting yourself. Having a strong arm and can run doesn't make you a good QB (playing our 116th ranked defense probably will though). You were bashing Jacoby for not being able to beat out Driskel's sorry azzzzzz (your words, not mine) and then you're talking Driskel up and telling people how you're not sure where this whold Driskel is trash is coming from. Which is it? Either Driskel is trash/a sorry azzzzzz QB or he's not trash?

Just like your "different type of athlete" allegation about Shalala... First you said that you weren't sure why nobody asked her what she meant about that and several months later you're saying that she said that in old UM commercials and they took them down with the quickness after "we started complaining". Which is it? Nobody asked her what she meant about that or people were complaining and the commercials were taken off of the air? Like I said... you're always contradicting yourself and can't keep track of your lies. Funny thing about the internet... once it's out there... it's out there to stay.

Miami QB Stephen Morris added to 30-member Manning Award watch list.

To "D" and all my Gator brothers...thank you for your support 'cause you know I was only sayin' what all you be thinkin'...and sayin'!

This will be an(other)interesting fall to find out if we are in for the same old bs we have been subjected to for the past nine or ten years. I was a big supporter of Al Golden as head coach and still have confidence in his abilities, if only for his recruiting alone, so far. However, I always think three years is enough time to evaluate a coach and get a good feel for what direction he's moving. So far Goldie is still a question mark. If D'Onofrio is as bad, or even close, this year as he was last we will know Golden is either a lousy evaluator or part of the good ol' boys network, which in either case will work to the detriment of the team... and University. Bob class of 61

Bob admits what the rest of us outside delusional gables knows. The canes have suck for a decade now. Golden Boy is yet to do squat and is full of excuses. Anytghing less than a 10 - 2 season will prove the Golden Bozo is over his head .
Facts and numbers don't lie.

One of the three points is true:
1. You lied. You have not ever posted on Canespace.
2. You lied. You did not get kicked out for calling out racism on Canespace.
and / or
3. You lied. You trolled Canespace once, got IP banned, and now have a whiney vendetta against them.

Show us a post there, "D", to prove #1 wrong.

Show us a post there complaining about racism, "D", to prove #2 wrong.

Show us a few posts there, "D", to prove #3 wrong.

UNTIL you do all three, you are not able to claim I created a falsehood. However, I can still call you an illiterate, incomprehensible, obsessed troll with an apparent logic and speech and writing brain tumor.

Alabama came right back in the nc and used ND's toss play on them. The same toss play that nd ran for 150 yards that we couldn't adjust to. Te/wr dig routes on the seams killed our prevent all year. Luckily we had the deep ball sometimes because we wouldn't have won a game all year. We have the talent to go undefeated just not sure we have the defensive scheme.

I meant to give shouts out to my boy Nashville making a cameo on here the other day, what up dog. You see reily cooper, lol, I think white people should be embaraased for other white people, ever notice how much hate comes out of them towards others on simple stuff. Most of than keep arguing about the word cause they mad cause most of them want to use it and feel free. Any white person that ask, "well why can't I say it" are either playing dumb or are just that stupid.

Than it's dumb to try and make it seem like somebody saying "cracka" is racial, trying to reverse the issue. They know where the term "cracka" came from and what it means, it's not a racial term, it was a term used to describe the mofo's with the whips. So when TRAYVON MARTIN said "that crazy arse cracka" the point was not what TRAYVON said, the point was HE was right cause TRAYVON not here no more cause some crazy arse cracka followed him for n reason.

This country is still filled with a bunch of sick minded rednecks, don't bother me, they won't bring it round us no matter how they really feeling, a man gone feel how he feels, that's on him, i'm not somebody who'll ever try and make it seem like we all need to come together, if somebody wants to stay with his own, I got no problem with that, just don't bring the hate our way and everybody should make it out alive.

//////////////////////

First of all... no white people shouldn't feel embarrassed for other white people.. that liberal white guilt stuff is ridiculous. All people are individuals and responsible for only their own thoughts/actions.

You are right about the origin of the term "Cracker". Slaves called the "whites" who used a whip a "Cracker" due to the sound of the whip cracking. However, you are wrong about the term "Cracka" not being racial.. it is racial. If you think that is a term of endearment towards whites then you are delusional. No person currently walking this planet was alive or even met a person who was alive and used a whip on a slave during that time in this country's history so that term can only be used in a derogatory manner.

I went to a majority black public school district and some of the most racist people that I have ever met in my life were black. Does that mean that black people should be embarrassed for their hatred? Absolutely not.. On a daily basis, white students were called cracker's, honkies, rednecks, devils, blue eyed devils, and caveman. I don't see how any of those terms were used as a term of endearment so yes they are racial. There's no "reversing it". Hate doesn't only go in one direction. Racism is racism regardless of one's color. A racial slur is a racial slur regardless of who hurls it and who they're hurling it at.

The biggest difference is the national media doesn't jump on stories that won't boost ratings. That's why the story about the 50 year old white guy near Sanford, FL who was pulled from his vehicle and beaten with a hammer by Julius Bender and Yahaziel Israel didn't make the national news networks. Al and Jesse didn't go back to protest that man's death. Or the white homeless guy in Michigan who was beat to death and left in a yard by a group of black teens. Al and Jesse didn't protest that either but did go to Saginaw when a mentally ill black man (Milton Hall) was shot and killed by police for wielding a knife at them and refusing to drop it.

The Daniel Atkins killing a few months ago in Phoenix, who like Zimmerman is bi-racial (hispanic/white) didn't make national news and there were a lot of similiarities between those two incidents. Atkins, unarmed and walking a dog, gets into a verbal confrontation with a black driver pulling out of a Taco Bell drive thru, allegedly hits the drivers car with a stick/pole/bat (nothing found at the scene). The driver gets out and Atkins starts throwing punches and is shot by the driver who feared for his life. No charges against the driver (and rightfully so) because he had the right to stand his ground and feared for his life.

You don't hear about the "Knock Out Game" on National News or the hate crime that isn't being prosecuted as a hate crime in Chicago where 3 black men attacked a white man, stole his iphone and wallet and the whole time while kicking and stomping him were yelling "this is for Trayvon Martin". The news media spent a whole 15 seconds on the story about the white kid in Baltimore who had tried to recover something that was stolen from his back pocket and was suckered punched and beaten by crowd of black youths and stripped of his clothes. This nonsense and hate happens across all races but only seems to makes national news when the victim is a minority and the perpetrator isn't. Are you embarrassed as a black person for these other black people? I sure hope NOT because you are not responsible for their actions, only yours.

Jesus f@#$ing Christ can we talk football please, Cane football please!!!!

You guys go back and forth like Team Beiber vs Team whatever other douchebag teenie bopper is out there

what about jedd fisch? he was BS also.....he didn't have to take that NFL job...he was already in the NFL before he took the UM job...he knew what the score was at UM......a bunch of users and golden is no different...

Fisch was only a QB Coach in the NFL. He was the Offensive Coordinator at Miami which gives him a better chance to move up to an OC job in the NFL if the NFL brass can see the results of his game planning and play calling. So YES he did have to go back to the NFL because being a NFL Offensive Coordinator is a promotion over being a QB Coach in the NFL.

Only losers like Gallo who lives in his mother's locked basement don't understand that competent people get promoted and look to further themselves. That's how good people move up. Obviously, no one tapping you to move up on anything other than on Lady calvina, D and the rest of you blow hards.

my BuTT itches like fire. I've scratched n dug for hours. My fingers stink.

I can see it now. My resume states I was in charge guiding UM through the toughest days in their history as NCAA sanctions were looming. The Great Al Golden will do what everyone else has done---use our program as a stepping stone to a better opportunity. Can't Wait! because his approach and coaching leaves alot to be desired and I've already seen enough to know this is not the guy.

Miami Hurricane 'efense is the #1 Pre-snap 'efense in College Football... Then after getting gashed for yet another first down, they are the #1 Huddle-up 'efense in College Football.

cane boy, u got GATOR on the brain.

And that's the best and smartest thing in ur cane cluck melon.

You do realize you're posting on a cane blog, right? hypocracy? hmm...

Cane in cali, that coward troll doesn't even see that he is owned by us day and night. Heck, the fact that our blog gets all these hits despite his best efforts to ruin it just shows how weak his attacks are.

I will think Gator on 9/7, then they will go the way of Ohio State, a memory of a team that beat us once, but in the end, when they FINALLY had the guts to play in our stadium, became another footnote in our far better history.

Then, I will not think of those losers again, because just like Ohio State, they will be afraid to ever get on our schedule again.

But you know that troll will still be on this Canes site, 24/7/365, because they have NOTHING else in their life.

psssssssssssssstttttttt ... look behind u

Njshorecane,

You mustve not paid attention that year bc forston and vernon barely played any that year. We had sean spence and thats why we were 17 th in scoring defense. Donofrio is conplete garbage with our type of players and athletes. No excuses. Hes trash. Giving up less than 20 points against usf and bethune cookman wont do. Everyone has figured out his drop back scheme. Everyone. Its no mistake that every singlr team runs the exact same plays on us successfully. I would gladly take any dc over donofrio. Seriously any dc. This aint temple. This aint the mac. They played one decent team every year and got spanked by that team while they were at temple, they play quality coaches in the acc and donofrio is outclassed by every single one.

You must not have paid attention to my post.

I don't care how much they played in '11. I think it was 8 or 9 games between them.

If you are of the opinion that two D-line players, who are now on NFL squads, would not have helped our defense at all ....then I disagree.

I loved Spence. But you think that 1 player accounts for 10 points a game?... well, let's just say I have to disagree again.

It seems like Golden is laying it on the line.
I'm glad to hear this because we're not going to accept much as far as excuses this year.
