So what dumblogic I am rubber and you are glue what ever you say bounces off of me and sticks to you . What a first grade moron . Go Canes

True cane other teams were already stronger and faster remember we were the young kids on the block ? So we will be closer to the same level as them considering the seniors have graduated , some juniors entered the draft, etc.Go Canes

Who ever thought the day would come when a guy would come on this blog, dump on the U and call himself True Cane?

I'm with you Marios I would have believed if I had not read his garbage with my own eyes .Go Canes

Ga Canes,

So what you are saying is we have to "hope" the other teams has lost players to help us play better defense.

The hurricanes used to be about dictating what happens. Everything I'm hearing sounds like we have no control over how we are goig to play defense.

Marios bother,

It's only the truth, I can't help it. If you can find a non-truth in there please tell me.

I wonder if Coley has it in him to pull a Buddy Ryan on Gilbride. That's probably why D'No is going up in the booth. Trying to protect his grill.

You mean like Boston College, Duke, Unc, Nc st, Uva, or Bethune Cookman.

I didn't even mention any of the good teams that put up a record number of yardage on this bunch of 'efensive instructors.

Nashville,

I believe some of these "so called" fans actually think we are the only team in America that has an offseason workouts. I don't think they know every college has a stregnth and condition coach.

I doubt they understand they're doing more harm then good by accepting mediocrity.

ROFL, nash cut that out, don't do it, ROFL! I tell you what was good about the duke game last year being a shoot-out,it shut those imbeciles up who use to try and clown shannon like he didn't know what he was talking about when he said "duke is a tuff place to play", we didn't hear from that crowd no mo!

But the defense got better at the end of the year.

It's always going be, since 83, national championship or bust!

I wasn't about luisville playing in a weak conference or Florida playing in an over rated conference. Strong dissected fla because he knew them inside and out. I'm not so confident oh no will prepare for them the same way. I hope the offense can control the clock and keep the defense from havin to win the game for us.

Beyond sad...its beyond sad when U wake up every morning put on a super hero costume just to come up with different personalities (your specialty but biggest complaint), read and negatively respond (with insults) to any and all posts that U don't agree with as if you're the blogs defender and we're the villainous arch-rivals. What are u doing? Where are your attempts at discussion or an original thought?

If the people u mentioned are sad, then what are U. Try some self-awareness before u post. U want to come here and read only like-minded comments--now how weak and boring would that be? Everyone hasn't settled and won't concede to the spreading mediocrity--thats what U are reading. U act like there isn't an opposing viewpoint that's posted just as relentlessly. The difference is that the insults began with your crew (yall refer to each other as "we" so there must be a group established lol). Some question and others insult our coaching staff and yall insult them personally. Its time to grow up. U aren't the victim, U are lead antagonist with no semblance of tolerance.

With that said, Cal U killed it tonight bro, on so many levels, great posts today salute. Golden is definitely playing prevent defense already LMAO!

^^^I just need a frame.

#2 RB Mark Walton from Booker T. Washington high is a kid that stood out to me in that Norcross game. he is a sophomore, plays fast, is confident, and big already. he reminds me of T.J. Yeldon. By his senior year, he'll be a highly sought after recruit. He was flying down on special teams--always a great sign.

CB Nigel Bethel didn't impress me, unless he was injured, he seemed to shy away from contact and not come up in run support (Deion Sanders esque). Could be that they didn't challenge him much as well.

DE Thomas is real and DE Jackson reminds me of Damion Square.

Most impressive was of course QB Treon Harris. His touch was excellent and his speed is deceptive--he has another gear. Shame he's a Seminole.

U aren't the victim, U are lead antagonist with no semblance of tolerance.

ROFL, and than there was silence, Da finisher!

On a different topic our lack of depth on the Oline is starting to scare the crap out of me. If we end up with a couple Olineman going down in the first couple weeks we will have no depth on the Oline.

This james coley guy is all Miami and you can tell he can't wait to get out there and start callign plays and setting teams up. But the main thing that caught my attention so far of what james coley said "when your lively hood is dependent upon the scoreboard" rofl, basically this man said he ain't got time to worry about the other team, he's trying to break the clock. I can tell coach coley has gene in em where somebody is going to have to ask him to have mercy on another team. He's almost reminds me of main man before he turned into the green goblin, if somebody tells james coley time to tone it down ,he looks like he'll holla out "tone it done, tone it down, no, you can't do this to me, YOU KNOW HOW MUCH I SACRIFICED"!

That was all i needed to hear in the interview with coach coley, he's going out each and every game to leave no doubt.

.

silly cane fan, when will u ever learn ? Louisville scored 26 offensive points against Florida's D. While Florida scored 23 points and had a 4 and out inside Louisville's 5 yard line with under a min. to go. If not for a pick six on Florida's first possesion, they could have kicked a field goal to tie the game to go into overtime against a Top-10 team... That's a mauling ?

Try these numbers for maulings u immense dope...

ur much improved 2013 'efense with the loss of 4 key starters will be top-30 this year huh ...

BC--- 32 points - 29 first downs - 550 yards ...

KSU-- 52 points - 27 first downs - 500 yards ...

GT--- 36 points - 20 first downs - 420 yards ...

NCSt. 37 points - 30 first downs - 664 yards ...

ND -- 41 points - 28 first downs - 550 yards ...

UNC-- 14 points - 30 first downs - 486 yards ... (UNC 5 t.o.'s)
FSU-- 33 points - 23 first downs - 450 yards ...

Vir.- 41 points - 27 first downs - 520 yards ...

Duke- 45 points - 30 first downs - 600 yards ...

u were saying something about a mauling. Well if Florida giving up 23 to Louisville, the most Florida allowed ALL YEAR on DEFENSE is a Mauling, what would u call the above stats ? How about let's go with an abortion performed on octuplets with butcher knives and wire coathangers by a Doctor with no arms and hooks for hands... Get back to me when u give up an average of 14 points --- 15 first downs --- 275 yards a game. Not 33+ points a game --- 25+ first downs --- 500+ yards a game...

.

ur dynamic O. against the only 3 decent teams u played ?

KSU -- 13 points - 13 first downs - 262 yards ...

ND ---- 3 points - 12 first downs - 285 yards ...

FSU--- 20 points - 14 first downs - 258 yards ...

best in the Country riiieet ? Well, if u just play unranked teams maybe.

.

Zooker... Son, can u be anymore stupid with ur complete lack of the facts ? u seriously give other cane fans a bad name there Canestoolrules. The only thing u know about mauling was by watching ur 'efense play week after week or ur O playing the only 3 teams u played that were even close to being ranked ... But that will all change this year riiieeet ? Just like u'll be back this year for the 8th. year in a row.

Bottom Line... it's about W's n L's ... And u Looose Again fool... But what would u know about winning after u have gone 66-40 (with 40 W's over garbage teams) since 2004 unlike the GATORS who have gone 90-28 over that same time period with 2 SEC and National 'Ships.

Do ur homework next time mylilUcanefoolbitch ...

.

HOLA ARTY !!! 4 days Brother !!!

oh, and tells us all about how if Dorsett doesn't drop 2-tds and ur 'efense doesn't get a personal foul the Notre Dame game wouldn't have been a blow out again please ...

I'm trying rrrrrreeeeaaaallll hard Arty, but these collective dumbasse cane clucks just keep drawing back in for their daily beatdowns off the field as well as on...

So sad and pathetic but they just don't know any better ...

.

SEE YOU EARLY SAT ARTY MY BROTHER !!!

The game is at 8pm you moron.

HUH??? I can't believe what I just heard from our coach. "..I think..I hope...their brand...they can prove to themselves..."

What happened to Us? Whats all this separation stuff between the staff and players. Where's the same accord? We have something to prove, not just the players.

And is he trying to insinuate that the on-going NCAA investigation that hasn't amounted to anything, and that no player, nor coach has been remotely involved with, could possibly affect/impact our team's play on Friday?!?!?

The media helps him lay the groundwork for this excuse outlet every interview when they ALL (without fail) bring up an investigation that hasn't amounted to anything or affected his ability to perform his job duties.

D'No said he basically has no defensive philosophy or approach now, just multiple sets and fronts. The energy level is way down with them. They better man up and coach our damn football team!

oh. and just for the record, as if I need anymore stats to blow ur delusions of grandeur completely off the face of ur candycaneland world. Try these stats...

Louisville stats verses the Gators in the Sugar Bowl ...

26 points - 23 first downs - 266 passing yards - 70 rushing yards - 336 total yards...

yeah, that's some mauling and less than 3 quarters than what ur sieve of an 'efense gave up in EVERY game documented above... EVERY ONE U colossal dope.

But by all means, keep bringing up how a top-10 Louisville MAULED the GATORS by 10 points, doing what u could never do for ur sorry cane selves, in a game that Florida didn't want to even play... Had it been u, tell us with all ur infinite wisdom what the score-first downs and total yards would have been...

Hey, u can pretend they're the Louisville Canes or Miami Cardinals Coached by a fine African American former Gator Gentleman named Randy Strong or Charlie Shannon in ur lil make believe CandyCaneLand... Now go take a shower u dumb Zooker cluck. ur bleeding outta every orifice after ur latest mauling dUmmy.

u enjoy now u hear ...

oh looky here, another complete dumbasse clueless cane cluck... I and Sir Arthur will be attending a real SEC game, watching a real top-10 team, in a real on campus stadium in front of real 90+k fans, against a real Toledo taem that has gone 8-5/9-4/9-4 with 3 straight Bowl games and ranked ahead of u the last 3 years at 12:20 Saturday u dumb cluck...

but u enjoy urself canesmackmainliner against the Boca-DelVista hoot owls in front of 20k with siren echos and tarps flapping in the breeze friday night.

I don't see how y'all watched that foolishness I don't even listen to them anymore. You all are better than me. Les miles was foaming at the mouth about their schedule whether you like him or not. Doesn't matter what anyone says we should go undefeated with this schedule.

Calvin, Gallo and Five Titles would be fantastic having a beer together.
All three are incapable of putting a positive thought about anything at any time!
Can you imagine being close enough to hear all the incessant bitching?
What is hilarious is that they complain to people that can't do anything about it!
That truly makes them stupid.
PS Someone ought to tell them about the make-up of a "cancer" personality....

• Though news of redshirt freshman receiver Jontavious Carter being off the roster was reported Saturday, Golden said Monday that Carter was dismissed from the team. He would not elaborate.

Read more here: http://www.miamiherald.com/2013/08/27/3587776/miami-hurricanes-erecting-great.html#storylink=cpy

Carter was dismissed...and no comment.

^^^^
That's simple- THE SEC is top heavy and over-ef--in rated. The gators other loss came to a Big EAst team- in fact they were emasculated and not by an SEC t eam. Furthermore they struggled against powerhouses Bowling green and Louisiana Lafayette!

Beyond LSU, "maybe USC" and Bama- There is nothing special about the SEC, believe me. Everyone knows that. That is, everyuone but you inbred hillbillies, and ESPN.

But this is another year. Clean slate. 09/07 will tell a lot where these two programs are.

Calvin- who but a an angry self promoting schizo answers his ownposts with a different name?

Cool cat- Newsflash, its 2013. McNeil is probably 300 lbs now and cant walk a blcok without huffin and puffing. And you cant stand over a player and talk smack any more. thast 15 yds and probably expulsion from the game. Did you see what happened to the Cypress Bay coach for slappinghisplayer's hemet (sopmething the kid says was no problem)- Imagine the Miami NW bulls of only 5 yrs ago now- that video with the coach ranting on the players.

It's another era thanks to the liberal PC police.

LOuisville just scored again

Louisiana Lafayette still in the game with 1 minute left

Say what?

This cant be happening. We in the SEC

BC--- 32 points - 29 first downs - 550 yards ...

KSU-- 52 points - 27 first downs - 500 yards ...

GT--- 36 points - 20 first downs - 420 yards ...

NCSt. 37 points - 30 first downs - 664 yards ...

ND -- 41 points - 28 first downs - 550 yards ...

UNC-- 14 points - 30 first downs - 486 yards ... (UNC 5 t.o.'s)

FSU-- 33 points - 23 first downs - 450 yards ...

Vir.- 41 points - 27 first downs - 520 yards ...

Duke- 45 points - 30 first downs - 600 yards ...

I was going to call total BS on this but after checking the UM website. Let's just say I hope we get this fixed this year. I really don't think I can take more of that. Soldy, you're a douche, but those stats for 9 games are just plain ugly. We must get it fixed !

Go Canes. Please !

Harriet,

"MG!!!!!! James Coley is a effin Boss! "..our offense is gonna work..."
"Our", "gonna"--and he's talking consistency, not appearances! "

That's the swagger I'm talking about, not this "I hope" crap. One guy told me the reason he's confident is because he's keeping the same offense from last year. LOL. Even though this is his FIRST year coaching these kids and the other guy is entering YEAR THREE in HIS SAME SYSTEM if that's what he calls it and he's "not sure" or in a wait and see mode.

And yes that is my post, True Cane, in a rush and left off my "e"

No fake old gator coach names over here.

"Carter was dismissed...and no comment."

Harriet,

They can't make a comment until they here Coach tell them what to say. The last few days it was he's scared to compete, he didn't want to wait his turn, he's one of those entitled kids, he quit. Now we find out another red shirt freshman is kicked off the team.

I can hear it now, when the special teams struggle this year, " it hurts when you have to play starters on the special teams, we lost a few young guys in the summer that could have helped on special teams, no worry we'll recruit some guys that's hungry and willing to buy in to our core values."

Is it true that D'O is moving up to the booth? If so, at least he is acknowledging that he has to change. It was infuriating last year to watch the defense make no adjustments when the opposing offense was marching up and down the field at will. Everyone could see it on TV and in the stadium. Maybe if he's up in the booth he will see it as well.

Bowling Green 8-5 with a Bowl Game in 2012 ... *WIN*

Louisiana Lafayette - 2011 - 9-4 ... 2012 - 9-4 - Back to Back Sun Belt Champs, 2 Bowl Wins ... *WIN*

u ? 13-11 the last 2 years, NO Bowl Games ... u Looose again.

Where did FAU-Savannah St.-USF finish last year ?

Toledo u axe ? Toledo, the last 3 years went 8-5/9-4/9-4, played in 3 straight Bowl games and were ranked #25 near the end of the Season last year in week 12... Miami has done none of those things over the same period of time. Any other questions ?

The only good " move to the booth" No'D can make is to the booth for good as a analysts.

To all you negative morons , Nobody said other teams dont have an offseason work out program , but if you guys are so smart you realize the difference between an 18 year old coming from a high school workout program and a 21 year old man who's been thru several college workout seasons . Not to mention the wealth of experience gained in 2 or 3 years . Common Sense . Use it . Go Canes

Just stop Ron Zook, 5-Titles and 9>5>2. You are getting owned and Beatdown to entirely new levels... Seriously, stop while you're still way behind. You're embarrassing yourselves and true Cane Fans everywhere.

Whoever thought the day would come when only four teams in the entire United States of America had a worst defense then the Miami Hurricanes last year.
-------
I sure didn't. Hope it never happens again, too. If we do not finish in the 50s or better, under the favorable circumstances we face this year, they should all be fired. Last chance, final answer.

Whoever thought the day would come when "so called" Hurricanes fans say " 9 or 10 wins and play for the ACC championship would be a good season. Really with that schedule?
--------
I can't speak for the others, but I sure never said that. I did say that it would be an IMPROVEMENT over last year.

Whoever thought the day would come when these same fans are screaming we will move up to the top 50 in defense as if that's something to be proud of. Has the standard drop that bad?
---------
No, but it will be very unlikely with essentially the same group of players and coaches that they will do better than that. If we said they would be a Top 10 defense, what would you say about us then? I am just saying with the easy teams we have, and the other factors involved including our offense and special teams protecting the defensive weaknesses where possible, that we can likely expect us to get "IN THE 50s" this year.

Whoever thought the day would come when these same fans are screaming we will play better defense because of a punter?
------------
Now I think you are just trolling. I listed one point that our punter could make a difference in aiding our defense by putting opposing teams in tougher situations, longer fields, and you turn it into multiple fans were screaming that?

Posted by: True Cane | August 26, 2013 at 07:49 PM

I love how one person claims I never say anything positive, while another twists a positive I write into a screaming rant.

Does our team face an easy set of offenses? Yes.
Do we have a good punter? Yes.
Does our offense's running game help reduce time of possession on the defense? Yes.
Did we have less turnover than other teams on our defense so our players are now on average stronger and more experienced than last year overall? Yes
Do I still think our defensive coaches suck, and they will be covered for by the offense and special teams BECAUSE Golden wishes to protect his teams' weak link? Yes.

Does that mean I only post negatives? No.
Does that mean I am screaming about our punter being the savior of the defense? No.

Five Titles ... Please, for all true Cane Fans everywhere ...

SHUT-UP !

To all you positive morons, the University of Miami is not the only school that played 18 year olds last season. Lifting weights is not the end all be all in football. Technique and scheme are just as important. Btw, the University of Miami also had 21 year olds with a couple years of "UTough" on our team as well. Go Canes

Coach No'D go, I mean literally go!!

Just stop Ron Zook, 5-Titles and 9>5>2. You are getting owned and Beatdown to entirely new levels... Seriously, stop while you're still way behind. You're embarrassing yourselves and true Cane Fans everywhere.
