championships, what excuses? No one has made excuses for the *HC* job Shannon did.

The question is, how is Golden any better schematically or statistically?

The onus of proof is on U the RS basher, not the RS defender. Your comments precipitated ours.

Who advised and made Sam Shields switch to CB?

He spent one season there before being drafted so of course he developed at that position primarily in the NFL. The point is who put him on the right course thats paying his bills till this very day.

How old are U dajedi? I have a strong feeling that I'm wasting my time.

Mr. "get Calvin's scrots off your chin"... Your boy talks like he knows redshirt rules. maybe you should go back to class and learn football 101. Use your own batteries to wash, rinse, and repeat!

Really...? Shields was drafted because of his CB play? Or was it because he ran the fastest 40 time in the combine? And he was put on defense because he was better there, or because of the Northwestern Frauds at wideout coming in meaning his overstayed his welcome on offense... you really are stupid! Once again...

Wash, rinse, repeat!

Its clear that the battery and bossman references went over your head and tells me everything I need to know. You've been wrong and misinterpreting everything written today.

I apologize for going back and forth with U champ. Go Canes!

You're still a douche and clueless!

Did I say he was drafted because of his CB play? No. I agree that he got drafted on his combine numbers, not just 40 time either. But were talking about *why* players got drafted under RS, or if any did get drafted under RS? You've conveniently switched the debate again.

I said he was drafted and now starts at the CB position that Shannon projected him to play at before he graduated and NFL coaches agreed...obviously. Why is all of this so difficult for U to conceptualize? U are so geared to disagreement that U can't even see the points being made. RS didn't develop him but he definitely put him on path to be developed--u can't argue that.

Wash, rinse, repeat--is that the cycle they have U on--is that your distress signal? I mean U keep repeating it on your keyboard--are U malfunctioning?--what batteries do u take?

You're still a douche and clueless!

I'm the douche and clueless, but U haven't been able to understand any argument or concept presented on this blog today. Also you're lying about your race--which is the epitome of douche behavior lol!

Wash, rinse, repeat, that's what they teach at Da jedi school, right after do or do not, there is no try.

Unless you're an Alverage golden shower taker, in which case it's do or do not, as long as they're equal on the scoreboard at the end of the year, then here's an extension for mediocrity.

FWIW... Hurricanes are a SURPRISING - 3 point road chalk.

So what gives Sin City line maker's??

1. Pittsburgh will be playing their version of SENIOR DAY on Friday. Ouch!

2. Both squads will be playing in ARTIC-LIKE weather conditions. Double ouch!!

3. The Panther's have played the overall STRONGER non-conferencce schedule. Get outta' here with that meaningless crap-ola.

I-AA Old Dominion 8-4

Notre Dame 8-3... soon to be 8-4 after a lost to Stanford in Palo Alto. hUh

New Mexico 3-8

Navy 8-3

4. And finally, with the exception of Pitt's lost to F.S.U. The Panther's have been competitive in ALL of their games this season.

In other words, a few breaks here or there and Miami could have easily be facing a 8-3 Pittsburg squad. Instead of the current 6-5 team.

A college football interloper, like myself, could also argue, that with a couple of BAD breaks here or there. The Hurricanes could be 7-4 going into their game with Pittsburgh. SEE the narrow wins against both Carolina Blue and major college football JUGGERNAUT Wake Forest.

But that's neither here or there now. hUh

Let me see if Knight can prove that he is Black. No help from your lying friends, like championships.

What happens when a Black man goes in the locker room shower with white men?

The answer is, it does not matter because you are white.

Very, very, very STRONG wind velocities are forcasted for Friday in the Blue collar, Steele city. Ouch.

And QB's bloody well DISDAIN throwing in conditions where the Howling winds come into play. hUh

So I suggest U'all gambling degenerates take the UNDER'S!!

The fact that Al Golden is not a good coach cannot be debated. This racist fans will do anything to cover for their terrible coach.

Seeing that the Holiday Seasons are upon thee Cane fan-dom.

I'll give my once in a blue moon New Year forcast or two.

Your beloved Mark D'Onofrio will be present for Spring practice.

And the Hurricane's will still employ the same defensive package.

Golden will rave about, and HYPE up, some of the returning defensive personnel. But after 3 or 4 games, these same HYPED up players will mysteriously be A.W.O.L. ENTER one David Gilbert and freshmen LB Figuerora-sp. Gilbert happen to be a former Big Ten HONORABLE MENTION defensive end.

And finally, the DORKISH horde at that canespace will be touting their beloved defensive unit as a TOP 30/40 defense in 2014.

By the way, the VAST MAJORITY of canespace dudes touted a Top 35/40 defensive unit prior to Miami's first game against F.A.U.

EXIBIT A. Total Team Defense:

No. 75 Miami, Florida

So much for CS predictions and what not. hUh

Seeing that I'm not such a TERRIBLE heretic and hater of everything which is Miami, Florida Hurricane football.

I forcasted a Cane team defense ranking in the NO. 54-NO.65 percentile range.

My bad for being so bloody W-R-O-N-G, again!

Perhaps next season I'll bring some realtive objectivity and REALISM of the college football sort regarding Marky Mark's defense and what not.

Golden has this team on the right track. Look at the difference in talent between 09 and 13 senior class. Shannon had far more to work with than Golden.
McCarthy (Cornelious), Sharpton (Gaines), Bailey (Green), Shields (Rodgers), Graham (Cleveland). So please stop with all the talk about Shannon and Golden. Shannon had far more talent to work with than Golden. Shannon had players, Golden has projects that didn't pan out.

OKAY FINALLY A WIN THAT'S GOOD THING AND I'M VERY HAPPY FOR THE SENIORS BUT LET'S NOT ALLOW A WIN TO MAKE US THINK ALL IS WELL BECAUSE IT IS NOT.. THE PROBLEM IS CLEARLY COACHING AND THE ONLT REASON I AM BLAMING GOLDEN IS HIS BEING SO DAMN STUBBORN TO GET RID OF DUNNO.. GOLDEN HAS RECRUITED WELL DESPITE THE NCAA CRAP BUT HE ALSO HAS NOT ADOPTED TO THE FLORIDA ATHLETES. WE PLAY FAST AND NOT SLOW, WE ATTACK THE QB NOT THE QB ATTACKING US.. WE PLAY MAN/MAN PRESS NOT PREVENT ZONE.. IF GOLDEN FINALLY GETS IT HE WILL GET RID OF DUNNO AND REPLACE HIM WITH YOUNG AGGRESSIVE COACH WHO SPECIALIZES IN ATTACKING AND PRESSURE DEFENSE. I DON'T LIKE COMPARING GOLDEN AND SHANNON SO I'M NOT BUT I WILL SAY THIS WE DO NOT LOSE TO DUKE IN FOOTBALL AND IF THIS PROGRAM HAS GOTTEN TO THE POINT THAT LOSING TO THEM IS ACCEPTABLE THAN THAT SHOWS YOU ALL YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT THE COACHES AND THOSE WHO ACCEPTS THIS BS WITH EXCUSES. RIGHT HOW EVERYONE IS SO SURE NEXT YEAR WILL BE SO GREAT BUT I DO NOT BELIEVE IN WAITING TO WIN WHEN YOU CAN WIN NOW... DID ANYONE NOTICED HOW MCCORD ONCE AGAIN DELIVERED A SACK FUMBLE TURNOVER?? HOW MANY TIMES THIS YEAR?? WHY THEN DOES HE NOT START AT DE AS A PASS RUSH SPECIALIST? SEE WHAT PRESSURE AND TIGHT COVERAGE DOES? IT ONLY TOOK 3 LOSES AND FAN OUT CRY TO GET THE MESSAGE. NOW WHAT? NOTHING DUNNO RETURNS NEXT WEEK AND I HOPE WE DO NOT LOSE TO PITT.. 9=3 IS GOOD BUT LET'S BE REAL HAD WE NOT LOST TO DUKE OR VA TECH WE FINISH 10-2 ACC COASTAL CHAMPS WHICH WAS MY PREDICTION..

Dont know if yall have seen it but over on the gator blog they have a pic of a gator blocking another gator head to head in the game against Ga southern. Its a once in a lifetime must see.

Where do you guys get your information from? Highsmith was NOT a top quarterback in HS. He was an athlete (translation: he played offense and defense).

Athlete he is not. I was of the understanding he was a QB recruit.

Im gonna explain how Golden is better than randy in one sentence you race card pulling idiots.

Nobody has seen a Golden team quit a game EVER!!

Duke.

You lost to Vanderbilt? Lol!

FT, I've been posting here a long time, so folks know I'm a UM grad and such.
That said, I've seen Vandy play 3 times this year. I can pretty much guarantee they would beat UM. Much better defense (top 10 secondary), and maybe the best young coach going, James Franklin. Expect to see him getting a bunch of significant offers to leave Vandy. he took them from 3-9 records to 3 consecutive bowl games. Doing it in the SEC. The win against the Gators was no fluke, nor was their win against GA.
They will finish up 8-4.

If Muschamp goes, UF would LOVE to get Franklin. Contractual stipulations prevent that. But not at UM.
