More on the death of Robert Mondavi

The world's wine publications are commenting on the death of American wine pioneer Robert Mondavi.

There’s an extensive, informative obit in Decanter magazine’s website, written by Linda Murphy, Healdsburg wine writer and former wine editor of The San Francisco Chronicle.

There's an even longer story in Wine Spectator's online version.

Standing, from left, are Southern Wine & Spirits chairman/CEO Harvey Chaplin, senior vice president/wine division president Mel Dick and president/COO Wayne Chaplin. (Photo courtesy the SoBe fest.)
