Wine Spectator scammed into "excellence" award

              Well, this is embarrassing! A California wine critic and author invented out of whole cloth a trendy restaurant in Milan, Italy, submitted it to Wine Spectator magazine along with the $250 entry fee, and won an "award of excellence" from the magazine.
