Celebrity moms and weight loss
Weight loss is now a contest among new celebrity moms, at least in the tabloids.
In this month's issue of Shape, "Will & Grace's" Debra Messing reports her post-delivery body was unfavorably compared with other famous moms. Debra tells the magazine: "It was written about in the tabloids a lot," she says of her post-baby body. "On one page it showed all the actresses who got skinny in six weeks or less, and on the other page was me!
Debra says she tried to lose the extra 42 pounds by going to a personal trainer.(click for some trainer tips) "It helped me drop the first few pounds, but I was exhausted! I couldn't work out three hours a day and do my job as a mother and an actress. (Okay, working moms, can you relate to that?)
Debra says she took the pressure off , cutting back on seeing the trainer but eating healthier. It took her three years, but she got back to her pre-baby weight. "Ultimately I'm very proud of how I dropped the weight because I think it was the healthy approach," she says. "I've finally taken ownership of my body."
The Working Dad blog notes that despite the interview, Shape appears to be feeding this whole super-thin yummy mommy phenomenon. It leads the article with a photo of an incredibly thin Messing, and slapped Faith Hill on its cover in a bikini.
I am more than willing to acknowledge there are a lot of hot non-celeb moms out there. But do you think celebrity moms with their personal trainers and personal assistants set a bad example for the rest of us working mothers? Or, do you think they set an example of what's attainable with some exercise and diet that the rest of us should strive to attain?

Yes now a days all celebrities are looking to reduce their weight.I think this celebrity has tried a lot.
