Screens: TV the week of Nov. 19

Tony Bennett: An American Classic (9 p.m. Tuesday, NBC) -- Oh, come on. It's his 80th Bennett_3 birthday -- surely you can listen to I Left My Heart In San Francisco just one more time. Or listen to duets with Barbra Streisand, Christina Aguilera, Elton John, John Legend, Stevie Wonder, Diana Krall, Michael Buble and k.d. lang.

Bono And The Edge: Off The Record (11 p.m. Friday, HBO) -- OK, OK, for the youngsters we've got this new late-night HBO series, in which musicians will perform a little, tell stories, talk about their own songs and even show home movies. First up: the vocalist and lead guitarist from U2. The show is the brainchild of Jonathan Prince, who got interested in music while compiling the rocking soundtrack of his 1960s family drama American Dreams. The host is Dave Stewart, the non-bald half of the Eurythmics.
