Some shows that are sticking around

Amidst all the early-season cancellation carnage, a few shows got good news this week. Showtime renewed its dope-dealing soccer mom comedy Weeds for a third season, while Fox placed full-season orders for rookie show Standoff, its drama about FBI hostage negotiators, and 'Til Death, a sitcom that contrast a cranky old married couple with a pair of gaga newlyweds. The new orders pretty much ensure that Standoff and 'Til Death will be around at least until May.
