FX's new drama The Riches, though it's about a family of Louisiana con men, has an oddly international cast. Creator and executive producer Dmitry Lipkin was born in Russia, and the two main stars are Brits Eddie Izzard and Minnie Driver. When they appeared Saturday on the critics' press tour, a reporter who was clearly trying to build his story around the immigrant angle asked Izzard and Driver why we always hear about the American Dream and never the British Dream. "Because it's a nightmare," snapped Driver, who clearly does not lose sleep brooding about that whole Boston tea party thing.
