Drew Carey takes over 'The Price Is Right'

It's been speculated for months, but Drew Carey finally made it official Monday afternoon during a Tv_price_carey_ny124 taping of David Letterman's talk show. Just moments before, Carey said, CBS struck a deal with him to take over as host of The Price Is Right from the retiring Bob Barker. Carey said he's not sure when he'll start work, but added that even before he hung up from the conversation with CBS, “my girlfriend was on the phone with a personal shopper from Bergdorf’s.”
