Say what you will about the Smithsonian Channel's documentary Vampire Princess, it's got broad geographical sweep: It starts with a vampire panic in a little Central European town and ends in deep in Fantasyland with the claim that Dracula was...a girl? I'm not convinced the princess deserved a stake through the heart, but the contestants competing for a horror-movie role on VH-1's reality show Scream Queens are another matter. I work for the Smithsonian Channel and just wanted to say thanks for the review of Vampire Princess. It is a fun show in this season of Halloween and I don't know about you, but I managed to learn a little something when I watched it. Readers can visit our website www.smithsonianchannel.com to see clips from Vampire Princess or look for it on Smithsonian Channel HD.
