Screen Gems: TV the week of January 25

Trust Me (10 p.m. Monday, TNT) -- Eric McCormack (Will & Grace) and Tom Cavanagh (Ed) star as a Trustme pair of cynical, witty advertising men at who balance boozing and broads and . . . What? There's a show called Mad Men on ANC with that very same plot? And it got record ratings and won a bunch of Emmys? The devil you say. Why, we thought this was an entirely original conception. We never even heard of that -- what did you call it again? Plaid Men? Anyway, our show is much, much better. Really. Would we lie about a thing like that?

The Last Templar (9 p.m. Sunday, NBC) -- Mira Sorvino (Mighty Aphrodite) and Scott Foley (The Unit) star in this miniseries as an archaeologist and an FBI agent teaming up to uncover the lost secrets of the medieval Knights Templar and . . . What? This sounds just like a movie called The DaVinci Code? Well, Hollywood is just full of the oddest coincidences, isn't it?

Toddlers And Tiaras (10 p.m. Tuesday, TLC) -- This new documentary series follows tiny little girls whose parents package them with spray tans and hair extensions and luxurious gowns and 17 pounds of makeup per little face to win beauty contests and . . . What? This sounds just like the prologue to a lurid, disgusting murder case in Colorado? OK, we give up. Find your own damn television shows this week.
