300 layoffs at Univision

Donoso Spanish-language network Univision and its corporate cousins Telefutura and Galavision cut 300 people Fridayand warned that there may be pink slips coming. "Additional steps may need to be taken," said CEO Joe Uva in an ominous letter to employees. Among the casualties in South Florida were anchor Ivan Donoso and reporters Bernadette Pardo and Veronica Paysse at WLTV-Univision 23.
