Fox throws a punch at NBC's 'Chuck'

Chuck When NBC's spy spoof Chuck was saved from cancellation last spring by a tidal wave of viewer mail (not to mention a corporate assist from the Subway sandwich chain after it figured in a Chuck episode), the hilarious but little-watched show acquired a certain cachet. Enough of one, evidently, that Fox is rolling out the heavy artillery to crush Chuck before it becomes a threat. With NBC engaged in a big publicity campaign about Chuck's season debut at 8 p.m. on January 11, Fox has just announced that it will resume airing original episodes of House in that slot the same night -- two weeks ahead of schedule.
