Take your snow and shove it!

Practically everybody else in America is glued to NBC's coverage of the Olympics, which drew 117 million Olympics viewers over the weekend. Not South Florida! Of the 55 markets equipped with Nielsen people meters, Miami/Fort Lauderdale was No. 54 in Olympics viewership. And a tip of our contemptuous hat to New Orleans, No. 55.

Led by Milwaukee, Seattle and Denver, nine of the top 10 TV markets for the Olympics were located on the frozen tundra up north. The single exception: West Palm Beach, at No. 10. I thought you guys all moved down here to get away from the snow.

This should not surprise anyone when you consider this is one of the nation's worst sports markets.
