Fatally wounded man found on Fort Lauderdale street

A man was found shot to death Wednesday morning on a Fort Lauderdale street, according to police.

The man, identified as Pierre Akeem Gustave, 23, was found on the 1200 block of Northeast 4th Avenue. Police found the man in the roadway just before 8 a.m. as the officers responded to gunfire reports.

Gustave, who was recently released from state prison on August 13, 2013, was known to frequent the area.
