Train hits pedestrian in North Miami-Dade; crossings shut down


A freight train hit a pedestrian Thursday morning in Northeast Miami-Dade.

Crossings were shut down in the area of Biscayne Boulevard and Northeast 151st Street. Southbound U.S. 1 traffic is slowed as police investigate.

The train started slowly moving northbound around 8 a.m.
