FIU's noon women's basketball home game against Rice Feb. 20 will feature the school honoring Cindy Russo, who built the program into a consistent winner over 36 years before retiring a year ago.
Both basketball teams open conference play Sunday against FAU, the women in Boca at 2 and the men at Camp Mitch at 3.
