PANTHERS PRESEASON: Florida Plays Seven Exhibition Games, Five within Sunshine State

The Panthers will play seven preseason games in September yet will only leave the Sunshine State for two of them.

Florida will open its exhibition slate with a double-header against Nashville at BB&T Center in Sunrise on Sept. 16. The Panthers and Predators will play the first game at 2:30 p.m. with the second scheduled to start at 7.

The Panthers will then travel to Texas for a pair of games against the Stars; the first game (Sept. 18) will be at AmericanAirlines Center in Dallas. The second will be at San Antonio's AT&T Center -- the home of the San Antonio Spurs as well as the Panthers' AHL affiliate Rampage.

The final three preseason games will be against divisional rival Tampa Bay. The first game will be in Tampa on Sept. 21. The second will be played off I-75 in Estero on Sept. 26 and the final game will be in Sunrise on Sept. 28. The regular season is expected to begin the following week.

The Panthers will host their rookie camp in Coral Springs starting Sept. 4 with the full training camp kicking off Sept. 11.
