FSU sells out home opener

Florida State announced Wednesday afternoon that tickets for Saturday's home opener against The Citadel have sold out.

The news comes on the heels of an overwhelmingly successful summer for the FSU ticket office. FSU's allotment of 47,000 season tickets are already sold out for the first time since 2003, and single-game tickets remain only for the Wake Forest, Virginia and Boston College games.

Saturday's contest is set for a 7 p.m., kickoff and will be televised on regional sports networks.
