Hello Everyone! Today is my birthday! Yay! I'm so excited! I'm spending it with the crew from CNN. Betty Nguyen is in town to check in on how I'm doing with No-Buy Month! Yikes. It's like having your family come to town to check on how you are living.
We are in the final week of No-Buy Month so we should be overjoyed! I know it's been tough. If you have any Christmas gift cards that you haven't used, I say hit the stores and have fun. It's legal during No-Buy Month. You aren't spending your own money!
So, if you want to see how I am handling No-Buy Month while celebrating my day of birth, please check out CNN this weekend. I will be on at 9: 15 a.m., eastern standard time.
Also, if you want free pancakes, IHOP is giving away pancakes on Tuesday. However, there's a catch. IHOP is strongly suggesting that you donate to one of their favorite charities. Donating to a charity is FRUGALISTA APPROVED.

I have a bday celebration suggestion. This weekend I went to the Bobbie Brown makeup counter in Nordstrom and got my makeup done. They don't require you to buy any products like MAC counters usually do. But I ended up buying the lip gloss anyway just so I could refresh as the evening went on. But check first to see if they require product purchase before getting your makeup done. Great way to pamper yourself for free.
