Miami-Dade County Commission To Decide Fate of Domestic Partner Ordinance Tomorrow at 10 AM** Tuesday, May 20.

PLEASE ATTEND THIS HISTORIC VOTE! RALLY THE TROOPS! BRING OTHERS WITH YOU! BE HEARD! YOU CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE!

The Domestic Partners and Family Health Coverage Ordinance faces a final Miami-Dade County Commission vote tomorrow, Tuesday, May 20 at about 10:00 a.m.** (in their Chambers, located on the 2nd Floor of the Stephen P. Clark Center).

Your attendance and ability to bring others is crucial because opponents are mobilizing!  Please email carlos@savedade.org to RSVP and let us know how many people you will bring.

**PLEASE NOTE: To secure a seat, arrive before 9:30 a.m.  As item 7A on the agenda, the ordinance is estimated to be called at about 10:00 a.m.  However, it could be heard earlier or later, so arrive early and prepare to wait.  Thank you for your patience and flexibility.  Please:

  • ATTEND!  Tomorrow, Tuesday, May 20 at about 10:00 a.m.  Arrive early.
  • SPREAD the word!  Call your friends.  Engage colleagues.
  • BRING others!  Arrange car pools.  Pick up those in need.  Use Miami-Dade mass transit.
