Miami Gay & Lesbian Film Festival closing night 017

Closing night of the Miami Gay & Lesbian Film Festival included a screening of La Mission starring Benjamin Bratt and directed/written by his brother, Peter Bratt.

Afterward, guests (including U.S. Rep. Jared Polis, D-Colorado, and Democratic Congressional candidate Joe Garcia of Miami) packed Cafeina in Wynwood for a closing night party that featured DJ Troy Landon and an announcement of 2010 festival award winners:

  • Best Documentary – The Topp Twins: Untouchable Girls
  • Best Feature - Brotherhood
  • Originality of Vision - Undertow
  • Best Feature (audience) - Hannah Free
  • Best Documentary (audience) – Edie & Thea: A Very Long Engagement
