'Oy Vey! My Son is Gay!' to be screened Aug. 7 at Temple Beth Am in Pinecrest; director to attend

The film Oy Vey! My Son is Gay! will be screened 4 to 7 p.m. Sunday at Temple Beth Am, 5950 N. Kendall Dr., Pinecrest. The synagogue's new LGBT group, Dayenu, is presenting the film, which stars Lainie Kazan, Saul Rubinek, John Lloyd Young, Jai Rodriguez, Bruce Vilanch and Carmen Electra.

The film's director-writer-producer, Evgeny Afineevsky, will attend the screening and discuss the film. The event will be followed by a wine and cheese reception. RSVP to Francine Francis, 305-667-6667 ext. 122 or email ffrancis@tbam.org.
