Tuesday night was the most exciting moment in my life - winning my election and joining so many champions for equality who are headed to Tallahassee or Washington or city halls and county commissions across our state.
Florida finally will have out gay representation in Tallahassee. As Equality Florida's Field Director, I have fought for fairness for our families and I will bring the voice of the LGBT community with me every day I serve in the Florida legislature.
I'll be in Fort Lauderdale this weekend for our Equality Florida Broward Gala. Please let me know if you can join me there as we celebrate this incredible moment!
