Hawaii News Now - KGMB and KHNL
Golly!
Actor Jim Nabors, TV's Gomer Pyle, has married his male partner, a former Honolulu firefighter.
Nabors, 82, told Hawaii News Now that he and Stan Cadwallader, 64, married Jan. 15 in Seattle.
For decades, the former TV star was rumored to be gay.
"I'm 82 and he's in his 60s and so we've been together for 38 years and I'm not ashamed of people knowing, it's just that it was such a personal thing, I didn't tell anybody," Nabors told the TV station in Hawaii, where he lives. "I'm very happy that I've had a partner of 38 years and I feel very blessed. And, what can I tell you, I'm just very happy."
Nabors played Gomer Pyle in "The Andy Griffith Show" and "Gomer Pyle, U.S.M.C." television shows.
Who cares news on another deviant sicko.

Always thought he was such a nice man - with a gorgeous voice - so glad he is happy.

I remember the old joke from the 1970's suggesting Rock Hudson and Nabors were an item: "Hudson Rocks Gomer's Pyle."
Well what do you know? The grapevine was accurate! Shazam! Shazam! Shazam!
