South Plantation's Anthony Julmisse commits to Colorado

South Plantation athlete Anthony Julmisse announced a commitment to Colorado late Sunday night. The senior joins teammate Johnny Huntley in the Buffaloes 2016 recruiting class.

"I felt at home while I was up there and that home kind of atmosphere is exactly what I was looking for," Julmisse told the Miami Herald. "I felt the urge to commit since my unofficial visit during the summer, but since [Huntley] committed before me it made my decision even easier to make.

Julmisse took his official visit to Colorado over the weekend and everything he saw confirmed that Colorado was the place he wanted to play his college ball.

Julmisse is being recruited at slot receiver by Colorado. He chose the Buffaloes over other offers from Wisconsin, Iowa, Vanderbilt, West Virginia, Minnesota and Oregon State, among others.

The South Plantation duo snap a lengthy drought of Colorado recruiting South Florida football players. Before the two commitments in this year's class, the last time a player to come out of Miami-Dade or Broward County ended up with the Buffaloes was 2007.
