Scott Coble named lead region president for Wells Fargo Regional Banking's Florida region

Scott Coble has been named the lead region president for Regional Banking’s Florida Region. He will report to Eastern Regional Banking Executive Laura Schulte and will be based in Miami. He succeeds Shelley Freeman, who led Florida Regional Banking since the merger of Wachovia and Wells Fargo. Freeman has accepted a newly created leadership role with Wells Fargo.

 A 27-year veteran with Wells Fargo, Coble started his career as a consumer banking associate in Charlotte, and since then has spent the majority of his tenure in leadership positions throughout the southeast. He most recently served as the North Florida regional president, where he managed 1,340 team members and 130 stores.
