Fred A. Roger is the new executive director of The Veterans Trust, a grant-making foundation dedicated to supporting transitioning veterans. Before, he was CEO of the HELO Foundation, which establishes veteran resource centers on university campuses. Previously he was director of training and product development with Dr. G’s Franchising Companies, where he trained new franchisees and established a training center and curriculum. He is the managing director of Roger Consulting. From 2002-2007 he served in the United States Marine Corps.

Best advice he ever received: Opportunities are everywhere. You have to learn how to spot them and prepare yourself to have the ability to act. A relentless, boundary-less mindset goes a long way. Align yourself with likeminded people that have passion, energy, and an edge in the area of interest. Follow your gut and dreams.
