Brent Burns, Jorge Gonzalez, Kim Magner promoted at JM Family Enterprises

JM Family Enterprises in Deerfield Beach has announced three executive-level promotions: 

--Brent Burns has been promoted to chief operating officer. He most recently was chief financial officer and executive vice president. Burns, a certified public accountant, has a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Florida Atlantic University.

--Jorge Gonzalez assumes the role of chief financial officer. He has been a vice president of corporate taxes at the firm. Gonzalez, a CPA, has bachelor’s and master’s degrees in business administration, and a master’s degree in taxation, from Pace University.

--Kim Magner has been promoted to vice president of corporate taxes. She has held several management positions at the company. Magner, a CPA, has a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Canisius College and a master’s degree of accounting in taxation from Nova Southeastern University.
