​ Andreas Ioannou hs been named CEO of Orchestra Hotels and Resorts, which owns the Hilton Fort Lauderdale Beach Resort and Conrad Fort Lauderdale Beach Residences. Before, he was the general manager of the Hilton Fort Lauderdale Beach Resort. Ioannou received his MBA and his bachelor’s of science in hotel, restaurant and tourism administration at the University of New Orleans.

John Allan is general manager of the Hilton Fort Lauderdale Beach Resort

​John Allan has joined Hilton Worldwide as general manager of the Hilton Fort Lauderdale Beach Resort. He most recently held the position of general manager of Hyatt Pier Sixty-Six in Fort Lauderdale. Allan is a graduate of Florida International University’s School of Hospitality Management.

Kimberly Wilson is general manager at The Ritz-Carlton Key Biscayne

​ Kimberly Wilson has been named general manager at The Ritz-Carlton Key Biscayne. Before, she was general manager at Harbor Beach Marriott Resort and Spa in Fort Lauderdale. She has a bachelor’s in management and management information systems at Valdosta State College.

Yaser Mohamad is general manager of the National Hotel

Yaser Mohamad has been named general manager of the National Hotel in Miami Beach. Before, he was director of operations at the hotel.Mohamad has a bachelor’s degree in architecture from the Universidad Central de Venezuela and an associate’s degree in hospitality management from Florida International University. 

 

Martin Hoellrigl named general manager of GALLERY One

Martin Hoellrigl has been appointed general manager of GALLERY One, a DoubleTree Suites by Hilton in Fort Lauderdale. He most recently was director of operations at Hilton Sharm Waterfalls Resort in Egypt. He holds diplomas in tourism, food and beverage management, public relations and marketing from Austrian schools as well as several certificates in hotel management.

Greg Cook named Ritz-Carlton

Greg Cook has been named new general manager for the hotel Ritz-Carton. He was previously the general manager for the Eden Roc, Renaissance.

Sean Flanigan appointed manager to Surfcomber Miami Hotel

Kimpton Hotels and Restaurants has appointed Sean Flanigan as manager to the Surfcomber Miami Hotel. Flanigan will oversee operations, sales and revenue, marketing, and customer and employee satisfaction. He has experience at various Kimpton hotels and has worked at Kimpton's Onyx Hotel in Boston where he was promoted to supervisor. 

Fred Khoury appointed director of sales and marketing at Viceroy Miami

Viceroy Miami has appointed Fred Khoury as director of sales and marketing. Khoury will oversee sales, reservations, events, marketing and public relations. He was previously director of sales and marketing at Radisson Blu Hotel in Chicago.

Dan Normandin has been appointed general manager of the Four Seasons Hotel Miami. He has more than 24 years of experience in hotel leadership positions and will be responsible for all operations from hotel to residential condominiums.

 

Veronica Villegas named international director at marketing firm

Veronica Villegas has been appointed as international director of Cheryl Andrews Marketing Communications. In this position, she will be overseeing international tourism and travel related accounts. Villegas has been working in public relations and marketing for over 15 years.
