Obama and Clinton supporters to mingle, no tasers necessary

As the Democratic race has raged on, hard feelings have been growing harder on the part of some Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama supporters. But a newly formed group of Broward County Democrats called Unity '08 aims to focus on the common goal of defeating Republican John McCain.

""Recognizing that never-ending frustration that Democrats are going through, we thought we'd have a meeting to remind people that we'll all be united in November,'' said organizer Alan Ehrlich. "This is not a staging of a fight. We don't anciticate any pepper spray.''

There will even be a stand-in for John McCain to allow the group to sharpen its attacks at the meeting tomorrow at 1 p.m. at the Jim Ward Community Center in Plantation.
